In this video I share the process of buying a water tank for a Auto Detailing van set up. I explain the different sizes and types of water tanks. The prices and different distributors. With Auto Detailing van set ups there are many configurations on how you can organize your equipment. I went with detailkings 65 gal slim that fits perfect under my trucks bed cover
Theres a tank for everything. My old 33 gallon tank I bought for around $150 on amazon could fit in a cars trunk. DetailKings have some good deals. I was going to use them but I couldn’t get around the shipping costs. That’s good you can close your bed cover and secure all your equipment! If you ever wanted more space you could look into getting a shell for your truck. Both setups work great though!

I feel you have a ram promaster city the small one and I have 150 gallon water tank , needed something fast and got it at a good price so I went with it but I’m down grading now to a 100 gallon one sqaure

Damn the tanks went up double almost tripple the price since covid. Bought mines from same company but in California for like 150 plus tax 3 years ago whoa

If you have the room, just get a good used IBC tote. I got my 250 gal tote for free, but I’ve seen them for sale locally for $100.
My neighbor has a few of them for sale for $50. He said it previously held chemicals but is clean. I like those tanks because of the heavy duty steel cage. Yeah I’ve heard other guys getting them free also. Thats a bargain specially when almost every single tank that has some size is 500 plus dollars. Maybe on my next set up when I upgrade to a larger van.

Its a 3/4 garden hose size. They have em at home depot. Its a pvc fitting
