Acid Bath broke up because Audie (bass player) was killed by a drunk driver. Sammy (guitar player) played occasionally with Acid Bath tribute bands for events, but Dax (singer) never really wanted to revisit things. He finally changed his mind, and they have him, Sammy, and Mike from the original lineup along with Goatwhore drummer and Dax's side projects bass player. I'm kinda hoping they wind up on 70K if Andy forgives Sammy for the Goatwhore trainwreck from the past. lol
@@frederickschmidt8723 They're still active here and there. Just did California Deathfest a couple weeks ago. They're just not as active as they used to be since they're all in bigger bands also (Goatwhore, Eyehategod, Crowbar).
BLOODYWOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those guys are FANTASTIC!!!! Every single time I catch a recommendation from you, it's absolutely SICK, and I LOVE IT!!! DELHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With Field tickets you can actually get on the 'field' of the stadium and get as close to the mainstage as possible, Stadium tickets means you can only access the seats in the stadium. (Rest of the stages are just normally accessible with Stadium tickets.)
Friday's lineup is absolutely stacked and probably one of the best lineups I've seen in a long long time. New and old, big and small....what a variety of stellar talent. I'm seriously considering flying in for just Friday.
What they mean by Stadium vs. Field, is there are seats in the stadium but then there is field access in the stadium which is standing only. The other stages are outside the stadium around the premises. Btw, Uncured is pretty good and play Inkcarceration every year, but they use a lot of backing tracks like all the other bands these days.
200 Stab Wounds actually came to Calgary at end of August, they were amazing man. The whole metal show started at 5pm because the EDM place the show was at was desperate to get the metal heads out before the gangsters showed up.
There's quite a few good bands on this list, Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie and Overkill included but If I were going to this festival, it would solely be for Armored Saint. Always wanted to see those guys in concert XD
Can we PLEASE talk about that last Fucking Lineup On FRIDAY? Whitechapel Headling With ALL SHALL PERISH BACK AGAIN!!! Dude that Lineup is Actually AMAZING
Silly Goose was the first band of Aftershock and they were fucking awesome. Met the singer, Jackson, who was shouting out his band with a big sign as everybody came down the main ramp to enter. Only dude going out to hype his up n coming band which I really respected. He hung out for a bit saying hey and taking pictures before running down to the stage, and their show was kickass, wicked start to the festival. I'd love to see them in a parking lot tho 🤘
That Saturday lineup belongs at When We Were Young, not Sonic Temple. The Friday lineup is indeed fucking amazing. I’ve seen Cannibal Corpse, and they kick ass live. Sanguisugabogg is also kickass, albeit with a weird name.
It says Three Days Grace 2x as they original singer Adam, is going to be joining the band again for a series of shows. So there will be 2 lead singers fronting the band 👍
That last comment is exactly how I feel about the Danny Wimmer presents festivals. Too many mainstream bands catered towards rock radio listeners. The extreme bands are always more interesting. This is because you get more of a reward when you finally understand their music, and it becomes even more special when you finally see them live.
I just saw silly goose this past saturday with UnityTX, in Orlando. They put on an insane show. Also the first time I saw them was after a day of rockville, and they were playing in the buccees parking lot 😂great band
I was high af the night before the lineup announcement and thought Danny was teasing Slayer tbh because he kept liking gifs with them playing. So I bought my ticket just in case they did bc I knew it would've sold out the GA Field immediately after. I was not disappointed after seeing Fridays and Sundays lineup. Seeing the new LP will be cool and heal my inner child as I loved them ever since I was a kid. Yeah it does suck it's not gonna be with Chester but it's whatever. There's some ok bands on that day. Just like with on Thursday. There's a couple bands I'd see. Let's hope I can finally go to a festival finally and hope 4th time is the charm (yeah all other 3 attempts ive attempted ending with the festival being canceled whether entirely or the day I was supposed to go)
Three days grace is unofficially rebranding themselves because Adam is back and they felt the need to add the 2X because it’s 2 singers now. As some people have already pointed out in the comments. Really stupid. And it’s a call back to their album One X I guess
If I were to go to this I would probably go to the Friday show. In my opinion I think that is the best day. Party on Friday sleep in on Saturday hit the town up go to another bar and then check out on Sunday. Armored Saint is a classic metal band.
I can understand the dislike for grunge, although I'd have to say Alice in Chains were definitely the most metal of the grunge bands. Tom Araya was even on the Dirt album.
Well all the dudes used to play in glam or thrash bands before forming Alice in Chains, so unlike most of the Seattle bands, they could actually play really well.
Saturday is probably the worst, that being said incubus is my favorite band but i would only go when they play on Saturday, I would stay for the full other days
There's no point seeing Linkin Park on Saturday, unless Chester Bennington is still with us, it might as well be a tribute band at this point. Same thing with Sick New World, it won't sound or feel the same, might as well see the other headliners or any other band still playing at that time.
This festival sucks bad. Second day is ok but I could do without Shitsincethe90sallica. Put Obituary in their place and i'm good. The rest of the days are shit. Wouldn't go if a ticket was gifted to me. Love how metal here in Europe is so different.

The 2x in Three Days Grace is a callback to their album One-X. So it’d be said as two-x. You’re welcome.
i was scared they would play twice
Also that both lead singers will be performing together
I actually didn’t know that one. Makes sense tho
BLOODYWOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those guys are FANTASTIC!!!! Every single time I catch a recommendation from you, it's absolutely SICK, and I LOVE IT!!! DELHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PeelingFlesh is amazing!! That whole lineup is killer!!! So is Sanguisugabogg it’s their hometown
Yes! I'm happy they are on the lineup. More Gangster Slam please!

Glad to see You making a video about this Bru absolutely Legendary

Fit for an Autopsy is indeed very crazy live. Can't wait to see them at Rockville. Honestly, I'm considering going to both fests.
Fridays going to be hard to decide who to watch, i wish some of those bands were sprinkled in with the other days
3:34 Feels validating knowing I'm not the only one that constantly says their name like this.
There's quite a few good bands on this list, Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie and Overkill included but If I were going to this festival, it would solely be for Armored Saint. Always wanted to see those guys in concert XD
Unless they revive Layne Staley, I will never see an Alice In Chains concert
Can we PLEASE talk about that last Fucking Lineup On FRIDAY? Whitechapel Headling With ALL SHALL PERISH BACK AGAIN!!! Dude that Lineup is Actually AMAZING
Dude I might just fucking go for Municiple and 200 Stab. Fuck yea
Have you ever seen gwar front row?

So is Wyatt's Flannel your new second channel?
The Mighty Cult Album 🤘
Don't kill me but Saturday sounds good.

What are your thoughts on a band called paleface Swiss?
Gonna rain at least one day always does. Field is the floor of the actual soccer stadium.
I can understand the dislike for grunge, although I'd have to say Alice in Chains were definitely the most metal of the grunge bands. Tom Araya was even on the Dirt album.
Well all the dudes used to play in glam or thrash bands before forming Alice in Chains, so unlike most of the Seattle bands, they could actually play really well.
im so excited for AAAALLLLLLL of this...... mostly because i feel like its a line up of 2001 lol
Line Up looks insane
Alice and Zombie Freaks on Parade is back 🤘
Saturday is probably the worst, that being said incubus is my favorite band but i would only go when they play on Saturday, I would stay for the full other days
Aye, The Festival hits it's peak at Friday, Then drops dramatically after that. Sunday gets a little bit better after that, But mostly just, meh.
Acid Bath?!?!?
ZOMBIE ANDDD suicidal?!!
Alice In Chains are good.
Acid Bath!!!!!
Day 4 for life - Hardcore pits go WAY harder than metal pits

You are correct
🥱🤮
Saturday is garbage lol
Take away friday have of sudays line up and its mids
There's no point seeing Linkin Park on Saturday, unless Chester Bennington is still with us, it might as well be a tribute band at this point. Same thing with Sick New World, it won't sound or feel the same, might as well see the other headliners or any other band still playing at that time.
That is a atrocious lineup 🤢🤮
