Awesome list. Everyone I know who has that Lifetime Yukon absolutely LOVES it. Easily the best bang for the buck. I’m glad you mentioned the Flash isn’t for tall dudes. Mike talked about how awesome that kayak is…but he’s short and lightweight.
The yukons don't take abuse as good as the other brands. The warranty is decent so they have been replacing them but I've lost the wheeled skeg on 3 of em in 2 years. In case you didn't know if you lose that you sink pretty fast from the holes. Just had to leave a tournament early Saturday because of it and borrow one to finish today out.
Never owned a Kayak or boat but looking to get one this summer. Can all of these kayaks be fitted with a electronic trolling motor? If not which ones would be best for that. 6’3 220lb would like the option to stand.
Pretty much all of them can be fitted for a bow or stern mount motor. There is a lot of DIY kayak groups on Facebook with valuable information as well. I appreciate you watching
I just got a new sun dolphin boss 12 ss. I have an older version. Im having to get in contact with them cause of the scupper holes not being drilled out which isnt a deal breaker. Could've just gotten past them. But do you know if the new ones come with the pieces on the side for the high and low seat positions? My old version does, but the new one i ordered in just has a little rubber mount that pinches the back of the seat. The front of the seat just flops around.
@TheOutdoorConquest all good. Ive already contacted their customer service about it and will find out Monday. Its just hard for me to see them up and ditch the variable seat position when their website shows it, along with everybody else's. Like in the pictures and the description/features.
@TheOutdoorConquest they actually ditched the seating position. I finally got in contact with them, and it's the new "improved" design. So instead of being able to sit up high. You will always sit low, and the front of the seat kind of just flops around. They never updated their website on it. I'm going to just go get my money back.
@@thatguyfishingben4794 your options are going to be very limited for a pedal drive under $1k. You can check the used market and will probably have your best luck.
@TheOutdoorConquest lol thats my bad I thought I had put it in there but I meant to say under 2k. So what's the best options under 2k. Looking at the big fish 103 maybe the 108. But if there's a better option I'd like to check it out. Thanks for the quick comments.
I’ve been waiting for a video like this. I have 7 kids and looking for something more affordable for me. Thank you for this.
No problemo!
HOLY smokes 7 kids😅
@@DetroitFishigan bruh 😎
We have seven kids, too, and our garage is filling up with yaks fast.
Children are a blessing from God. Blessed is the man with a quiver full of them. Period. God bless!
Crescent Primo. 699 and 55 lbs. My next thro and go.
Is that a newer yak? I know crescent is a pretty popular brand amongst kayak anglers. I’ll have to check that one out. Thanks for watching!

Yeah the flash is definitely only made for small people.
I have two Yukons. Great kayak for the money.

For those of us who fish sometimes but other times just cruise around, which of these are the better performers for just covering water?
@@rohlfing63 I’d have to do more research on that honestly
I bought an Old Town Sportsman 106 on Marketplace a couple of years ago for $800 and love it. I want a powered one next. Soon!
The Sportsman lineup is really nice! I really like my Auto Pilot. Thanks a lot for watching!🤘🏼
Fantastic options on a budget. Great job explaining the features and capacity of each one 💪🏽
Mantap from Asia!🤘🏼
Is there a reason you left out the crescent Primo?
No not really. I definitely could update the list or have added more but felt it was a pretty solid lineup
Im surprised a crescent kayak didnt make this list at all....
They only have 1 around that $1k mark and it’s not the greatest fishing platform from what I’ve seen. Thanks a lot for watching!
Really good list!
Thanks a lot for taking the time to watch! I appreciate it and hope it helped out 🤘🏼
First and foremost....HAIL!!!! Excellent and very informative video. Thanks!!!
Thanks a lot for watching brother!🤘🏼

Do you think the big fish 120 is the best of all of em you recommended?
If your not wanting a kayak with a drive other than paddle? Yes. It’s virtually unflippable also.
@TheOutdoorConquest what about peddle drives?
