Yeah and I really hope they change it up from the comic like add Tiger Claw from TMNT 2012 as a villain because he’s like boba fett or jangofett with the blasters and jetpack but also like Deathstroke with the katanas, eye patch, super senses those of which being speed because he was able to react to his sister alopex’s speed and she’s literally a speedster but she’s not as fast as one like she’s probably super sonic-hyper sonic but she does still look like Flash in the TMNT verse but who knows her true speed it was never confirmed but Tiger Claw was able to dodge her and combat her and hopefully they let shredder go super shredder mode in that game and let us fight almost all the other villains in the TMNT franchise just like what Arkham Knight did though they forgot some Batman villains but it felt like all of them. Also hope it’s like God of War like Raphael’s rage ability like Spartan rage since Mikey learns all the skills of every turtle and the use to use every weapon because in God of War weapons are used for different puzzles and mechanics and hopefully this game has them and is like the old games a hack n slash with story with no held back violence.
Nah just all og stuff. If it didn’t come out in the 80’s or 90’s not thanks. Just word salad for a “backstory”
Hopefully we see our first look of game at the showcase in May I'm really excited for this game.

I wonder how true that actually is cuz I read something a while ago explaining why they’re making a game instead of a movie so doing both seems like “wtf”. Apparently they said it wouldn’t fit in a movie cuz it’s so deep and complex and movie wouldn’t be able to single handedly cover the whole thing at its finest like a game could (whatever that really means) so I feel like making a movie along with a game after saying the reason for the game is cuz a movie wouldn’t work seems like it makes no sense

But looking again I see something about a live action movie being done about it. I hope they do a game too. Not many good martial arts games out. Im excited for Wu-Kong though.

I just read the TMNT game retrospective article in Game Informer from a few months back and they mentioned this game. I forgot all about it and found this video thanks to that article. Subscribed!
My only worry is if they try to price this at full price. As interested as I am IDK about spending $70-$100 on a THQ game. They have made some bangers back in the day but they aren’t really known for high quality.
I’m hella excited for this game. I remember reading the comic a few years ago way before a game was announced and I felt like a struck a diamond or a hidden gem reading it. The last ronin was such a good comic and I could only imagine how good of a game it could be. Not even just the content and story of the but the gameplay. We’ve had open world/open city games for a while now, but I feel like one like this would just hit different. If anyone’s ever played “getting up” on ps2 you know what I mean when I say this, in a way the game could be like that. Open world games tend to be over dramatically fantasy but ninja turtle open world game….it’d be cool to be running round a dark (literally and figuratively) New York as a SHINOBI doing real life parkour like how they do in the live action movies, in a realistic New York City, probably able to dive from a sky scraper smoothly and swiftly into a sewer and start surfing the sewers on a skateboard to get your destination under the radar as the whole city is under opp control
Like a realistic ninja game in a setting like New York with a story of the last ronin and ninja turtles in general has SOOOOOO MUCH POTENTIAL. Like a spiderman game but more shinobi like in every way, the atmosphere, the traversal, the combat, everything. It would be AMAZING. Picture a game like insomniacs spiderman fused with assassins creed with advanced parkour like actually doing flip animations with the climbing and stunts IN NEW YORK CITY. That game would theoretically make a fantastic game

I still can’t believe it. Of all turtles to take such a dark turn they chose my favorite, the fun loving turtle, Michelangelo. When first read about this comic I thought it was going to be Raphael or Leonardo.

I am glad that the developers retain their enthusiasm for the development of the game TMNT: The last Ronin, even despite the reduction, they still, as true fans of TMNT, do not give up and want to bring all their plans to life. The main thing is to bring this matter to an end, let's see if this game will be released in 2025 or 2027? We'll wait and see.
I'm hoping Mikey's sword goes back to the proper blade it was after it was broken.
I really hope the game will come out on all consoles. Not just PlayStation.

I am looking forward to this game but my expectations are super low because this studio doesn't have experience in this type of game so I'm interested... Also it's kinda weird for it to be a gow type of game since The Last Ronin is a ninja after all so I would've expected stealth to be part of the game, it still could be...
I'm not holding my breath. The iconic part of the turtles franchise is that THERE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FOUR TURTLES, NOT A SOLO SURVIVOR. Why do they always do this with comics?
The comics are, the main story, the shows and movies aren't cannon, the turtles died because of the events that happened in the story, and most of the shows that are made are pointed at kids, and if you actually read the comics then you would know that there has been a 5th turtle since 2017. Four turtles is LONG GONE.
Nah bruh. Although I’m looking forward to this game (while currently reading the hardcover) and I don’t agree with the original comment, the staple of the franchise will always be the original 4 turtles.
Most fans including casual and hardcore will NEVER equate TMNT to 5 turtles.
