I would love to see a tie-in that you could do with the release of the game. Now that the game is coming out, there needs to be a recognition for your work for providing the world a taste of what a team of people who love the source material and shows it in their work. I can definitely see a film being made. I know that's one I would purchase and want in my personal collection. As Al Pacino said in The Recruit, "I'm a scary judge of talent."

For some people who don't know, Michaelangelo was always the MOST naturally gifted Turtle. Splinter knew this and that's why he gave him the Nunchaku, the hardest weapon to master of all the other Turtles, to balance out his eagerness, comedic antics and overconfidence. Michaelangelo was never a leader or the strongest or most disciplined Turtle, but the most skillful. Of course, he would lose to Leonardo because Leo takes a fight serious and uses a lot of fight IQ to which Mikey is just more brash because of how he is. When you notice how when he fights he does so with absolute ease that he Adds his playful antics and clownish demeanor into his fighting because he just Can. He does things with his weapons that no other Turtle can do with theirs and does so very naturally even though you see how the other Turtles constantly train more than Mikey who just plays around. This is why when Mikey lost everything he became the most powerful Turtle. His happiness and everyone he loved was taken away. He had nothing left But to be serious and vengeful.

He was always the most gifted of the turtles and I don’t know if anyone else read the comics, but he was a master at all their weapons and that’s why splinter gave him nunchucks because it was supposed to be the hardest to master.

It hits even harder if u watched the 2012 version, they felt more like a loving family there than any other. It hits so hard, especially Mikey, the little brother of the group
His story arc ended up being the most dramatic. MAJOR SPOILER: If you haven't read The Last Ronin. Mikey tries committing Seppuku because he was humiliated over his cowardice.

It's such a raw vulnerable moment. When we lose people of course we miss them but saying it aloud makes it even sadder because it shows how much you want them back but never will.

@Don Julio To tell you the truth, I've never seen or read The Last Ronin but from what I understood, it was Michael Angelo as the last Turtle as opposed to Leonardo. Leonardo trained his whole life for that role whereas Michael Angelo, the party guy, was thrust into it. That's what makes the story more impactful.

When he said how much he missed his brothers and master splinter, and he started to plunge Leo's broken katana in his chest my heart couldn't take it. My eyes welled up and in my mind I said " NO MIKEY!" This was/is amazing, thank you and looking forward to more
I think he had enough fighting since it's all up to him. He tried to kill himself to see his brothers and father, but April and Casey saved him for one last fight
I'll buy the franchise from Nickelodeon and give it a new life...no more bs, no more dumb movies...a real life action show a la Netflix Daredevil, dark and full of emotion, a kids friendly show, a whole new revival of the franchise exploring different characters backstory and so on...there is so much material to just let them stay on comics
I have not cried like this in such a long time TMNT was the reason for me starting my martial arts journey over 30 years ago and to see that the story has come this far truly speaks to my inner child ❤
Its so cool on how you see the silhouettes of the dead turtles without masks on, but by hearing their voices we already can tell whose who. It truly shows how we grew up to recognize each member and i believe there is NO favorite turtle, As an adult i love them all for their different qualities and personalities

Everyone says it's Mikey because it's based on the comic in which he was the lone survivor, but not all comic based movies follow the comics exactly and I don't see why Mikey would be wearing a purple headband/mask. I'm not sure it's Mikey 🤷♂️.
@MrSeekz-rp3su it's black, and read the comic it's literally Mikey. Raph, Leo, donny, Casey, and splinter all died in the comic, roughly all around the same time. Also the dialogue is a 1 to 1 with the comic
This was very well constructed and gave the awesome feel of that scene in the first issue of The Last Ronin. I, like many in the comments, would love to see a full length series from these developers. If there is a donation that is needed I would gladly put down to see it come to life. Everything about this is perfect. The echoes of the empty sewer, Mikey's facial expressions and his broken voice, the music kicking in when you see the weapons of his dead brothers laid out on the floor. You can just feel his pain and isolation. And then there's the beautiful animation. Incredible atmosphere and textures. It's so cool to see the comic book artwork brought to life so faithfully with such hyperrealism. If there were ever to be a new TMNT series or movie, THIS is how it should be done.
@@J33p3rzz2crxzy yes, that animation is based on "the last ronin" comics, basically telling the story of "what if every ninja turtle and their father died besides Mickey, it's technically a reveal in the story but it's obvious from the beginning since it makes me sense regarding story telling (aka the "younger" / funny one has to revenge his brothers and for that need to loose Innocence, makes it more emotional and deep) I'm not a big ninja turtle fan but honestly those comics were golden
Damn, I just wanna give him a hug. TMNT is one of the few franchises that can balance well timed humor and heart-wrenching moments. Obviously I can't wait to see this, but if the rest of the project is this good, take all the time you need.

Yeah, the reason why Mikey isn't cracking jokes or even smoking was his family (Master Splinter, Leo, Raph & Donnie) & friend Casey Jones have died at the hands of the Foot Clan led by Karai's son & Shredder's grandson Oroku Hiroto & even Baxter Stockman. Raph died fighting Karai in his rage, Leo & Casey Jones died at the hands of Baxter Stockman & even Master Splinter & Donnie have died at the hands of the Foot clan & their new leader, Oroku Hiroto. But Mikey, April O'Neil & Professor Honeycutt have survived the onslaught. April gives birth to her & Casey's daughter Casey Marie Jones while Mikey became the last ronin who begins his mission to seek justice for his dead family & friend. Also, for honor.

I can't stop crying. Mikey has always been my favorite. To see him broken from hardship and tragedy, it hurts so much. To watch him lose everything... I can't imagine the agony of losing any of my siblings let alone all of them. God, poor Mikey..
It's breathtaking how realistic this looks! The voice acting is incredibly well executed, character designs/models are appealing and realistic but not so much where it's a walking nightmare. Location is omnibus and gloomy, making it feel tragic. And the dark tone of the setting over the build up of emotion from the Last Ronin, where he can hear his brothers in his head makes it feel so earned. Honour is also a very present and accruing theme and that's something that the turtles should be known for. Even when it comes down to taking one's own life. Better to die by your own blade than by the hands of your enemy. I mean it really isn't, but who am I to judge the methods of ninjutsu. I've never done it. And I agree with everyone else in the comments saying that this should be a full on blockbuster movie. A movie length film like this would be a god blessing for both the turtles, the world and us humans. But it's still perfect as it is with it's short length. Well done! 😌👌

Poor Mikey 😢 always the positive & enthusiastic of the turtles. I read the comic & it was hard to finish when I found out it was Mikey who was the last ronin. When he died & April said “goodbye my friend”, I teared up. Long live the TMNT.
Imagine his lonliness. They were one of a kind... Family, always had each other's back. The world's most greensome fighting team. Now he is the only one left, all alone. I think many of us watching this grew up with the turtles. Now we are older, like him, and things have changed. And like him, we have lost. So we feel his pain.
As the youngest of my immediate family I connected with Mikey in a way I never thought I would before. As the baby the elder people of your group feel the need to guard you and protect you and a part of you becomes so used to that protection. It's one of the reason Mikey was the good ball. His brothers always had his back

I thinks it’s actually extremely smart of the writers to make Mikey the last survivor since it gives him far more character development than the others for sure. I mean he’s the least experienced and the least powered up of all the turtles and has the most to loose emotionally. The others always had some edge to them already present. Also it sets him up to be a crazy forerunner to the turtles considering he is the last one he can surpass them greatly now
Mikey wasn't the least experienced of all the turtles, he was just more laid back in terms of training. Splinter giving him nun-chucks proves he was very talented and well-trained, as those weapons are harder to master. His fun, party dude attitude made him more chill than his brothers, plus as the youngest of the turtles, he always had their protection, but only now, alone, does he show how much he's grown.
If he was more focused splinter always said he could be the best he always had potential for it. He's pretty effortless in wielding his chucks too and they're the more difficult of all four weapons to master
Just as us TMNT fans were growing more and more disappointed at how no one seems to care enough about the turtles specially in recent years, This masterpiece at all levels arrived. The only thing that can make me happier is to see this in feature length with the exact same team. Fantastic job! U deserve the best

It's hard to see my favorite of the Ninja Turtles be so cold and unlike his cheerful, goofy prankster self. Mikey was always so happy and quick to crack a joke, often at Raph's expense. To see Leo, Raph and Donnie's chief weapons laying in front of Mikey, alongside his nunchucks, then to see Mikey use one of Leo's shattered swords to commit suicide is tragic.
I grew up with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The greatest complement I can give is This Is Art. This is evolution of a character. I hope beyond hope that we see more from this creative team. This should be taught in film school, how to construct a dramatic scene. This Is Art…This is beautiful.

@Don Julio To tell you the truth, I've never seen or read The Last Ronin but from what I understood, it was Michael Angelo as the last Turtle as opposed to Leonardo. Leonardo trained his whole life for that role whereas Michael Angelo, the party guy, was thrust into it. That's what makes the story more impactful.

You’ve managed to make a more interesting and heartfelt story with just 4 and a half minutes than what Michael Bay tried to do with 2 movies man people like you are the ones we need making movies.
When he said how much he missed his brothers and master splinter, and he started to plunge Leo's broken katana in his chest my heart couldn't take it. My eyes welled up and in my mind I said " NO MIKEY!" This was/is amazing, thank you and looking forward to more
And before he almost off'd himself april and her daughter came in saved mikey from his misery
I think he had enough fighting since it's all up to him. He tried to kill himself to see his brothers and father, but April and Casey saved him for one last fight

Its so cool on how you see the silhouettes of the dead turtles without masks on, but by hearing their voices we already can tell whose who. It truly shows how we grew up to recognize each member and i believe there is NO favorite turtle, As an adult i love them all for their different qualities and personalities

This really makes me cry. I'm a TMNT fangirl. And this deserves to be a movie.
I still can't wrap my head around the idea that that's Mikey, he's so sad it almost brings me to tears. I grew up with the Turtles... never crossed my mind that they might die someday...
Everyone says it's Mikey because it's based on the comic in which he was the lone survivor, but not all comic based movies follow the comics exactly and I don't see why Mikey would be wearing a purple headband/mask. I'm not sure it's Mikey 🤷♂️.

Love Action Last Ronin has been announced. I really want to hope it turns out like this.
The amount of emotions put into this really hit hard... Hollywood take notes on everything in this film... Masterpiece.
Everything about this is perfect. The echoes of the empty sewer, Mikey's facial expressions and his broken voice, the music kicking in when you see the weapons of his dead brothers laid out on the floor. You can just feel his pain and isolation. And then there's the beautiful animation. Incredible atmosphere and textures. It's so cool to see the comic book artwork brought to life so faithfully with such hyperrealism. If there were ever to be a new TMNT series or movie, THIS is how it should be done.

@@J33p3rzz2crxzy yes, that animation is based on "the last ronin" comics, basically telling the story of "what if every ninja turtle and their father died besides Mickey, it's technically a reveal in the story but it's obvious from the beginning since it makes me sense regarding story telling (aka the "younger" / funny one has to revenge his brothers and for that need to loose Innocence, makes it more emotional and deep) I'm not a big ninja turtle fan but honestly those comics were golden
Damn, I just wanna give him a hug. TMNT is one of the few franchises that can balance well timed humor and heart-wrenching moments. Obviously I can't wait to see this, but if the rest of the project is this good, take all the time you need.
So happy there will finally be a full length film about this timeline. And it's going to be rated R as this storyline deserves

Raph died fighting Karai in his rage, Leo & Casey Jones died at the hands of Baxter Stockman & even Master Splinter & Donnie have died at the hands of the Foot clan & their new leader, Oroku Hiroto. But Mikey, April O'Neil & Professor Honeycutt have survived the onslaught. April gives birth to her & Casey's daughter Casey Marie Jones while Mikey became the last ronin who begins his mission to seek justice for his dead family & friend. Also, for honor.

I can't stop crying. Mikey has always been my favorite. To see him broken from hardship and tragedy, it hurts so much. To watch him lose everything... I can't imagine the agony of losing any of my siblings let alone all of them. God, poor Mikey..
I feel the same when I first seen this
It's breathtaking how realistic this looks! The voice acting is incredibly well executed, character designs/models are appealing and realistic but not so much where it's a walking nightmare. Location is omnibus and gloomy, making it feel tragic. And the dark tone of the setting over the build up of emotion from the Last Ronin, where he can hear his brothers in his head makes it feel so earned. Honour is also a very present and accruing theme and that's something that the turtles should be known for. Even when it comes down to taking one's own life. Better to die by your own blade than by the hands of your enemy.
I mean it really isn't, but who am I to judge the methods of ninjutsu. I've never done it.
And I agree with everyone else in the comments saying that this should be a full on blockbuster movie. A movie length film like this would be a god blessing for both the turtles, the world and us humans. But it's still perfect as it is with it's short length. Well done! 😌👌

Imagine his lonliness. They were one of a kind... Family, always had each other's back. The world's most greensome fighting team. Now he is the only one left, all alone.
I think many of us watching this grew up with the turtles. Now we are older, like him, and things have changed. And like him, we have lost. So we feel his pain.
As the youngest of my immediate family I connected with Mikey in a way I never thought I would before. As the baby the elder people of your group feel the need to guard you and protect you and a part of you becomes so used to that protection. It's one of the reason Mikey was the good ball. His brothers always had his back

I thinks it’s actually extremely smart of the writers to make Mikey the last survivor since it gives him far more character development than the others for sure. I mean he’s the least experienced and the least powered up of all the turtles and has the most to loose emotionally. The others always had some edge to them already present. Also it sets him up to be a crazy forerunner to the turtles considering he is the last one he can surpass them greatly now

Mikey wasn't the least experienced of all the turtles, he was just more laid back in terms of training. Splinter giving him nun-chucks proves he was very talented and well-trained, as those weapons are harder to master. His fun, party dude attitude made him more chill than his brothers, plus as the youngest of the turtles, he always had their protection, but only now, alone, does he show how much he's grown.
I think in on iteration master splinter said that mikey has the most raw talent but is held back by his laid back attitude.
If he was more focused splinter always said he could be the best he always had potential for it. He's pretty effortless in wielding his chucks too and they're the more difficult of all four weapons to master
Just as us TMNT fans were growing more and more disappointed at how no one seems to care enough about the turtles specially in recent years, This masterpiece at all levels arrived. The only thing that can make me happier is to see this in feature length with the exact same team. Fantastic job! U deserve the best

That rendition of John DuPrez's TMNT theme is phenomenal. This is truly some next level stuff, and I'm glad to see Tom Waltz gave it recognition too. I hope Kevin and Peter get a chance to watch it too!

It's hard to see my favorite of the Ninja Turtles be so cold and unlike his cheerful, goofy prankster self. Mikey was always so happy and quick to crack a joke, often at Raph's expense. To see Leo, Raph and Donnie's chief weapons laying in front of Mikey, alongside his nunchucks, then to see Mikey use one of Leo's shattered swords to commit suicide is tragic.
I grew up with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The greatest complement I can give is This Is Art. This is evolution of a character. I hope beyond hope that we see more from this creative team. This should be taught in film school, how to construct a dramatic scene. This Is Art…This is beautiful.

My god.... That was phenomenal. I'm at work and balling like a baby. I knew this story, but to see it....... to.. hear it... just devestating. The voice acting is absolutely top tier. Animation is superb. This short scene is absolutely perfect. I love it.
