I love watching your videos. They invoke so many nice memories for me of when I was a child visiting Sicily. You deliver your vegetables in baskets pulled up by a rope, I recall bread being delivered this way as well. I remember the produce man driving through our neighbourhood, his Ape 3 wheel truck fully loaded with produce and he had a speaker/microphone mounted on top of his truck and every morning you'd hear his spiel in Sicilian " Aiu patati, pumadori, cipudri, miluni e ngulazzati ... aiu paaa-taaaa-tiii...
Thank you for watching our channel and supporting us ❤️ Sicily is a very unique and beautiful place. It's a very beautiful memory that you have. Unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer farmers who sell their own produce. Nowadays, everybody who sells from a truck is just a reseller. It would be nice to see more farmers doing it ❤️
You've created a great and efficient system for delivering the freshest produce possible on an as-needed basis! Everything is so well-organized. Your customers are so fortunate.
Well done ,,i am so proud of you guys ,,even miles away I like what you two are doing ,I feel I a am part of your community .. Keep up the good work .. Peter from South Africa ..
Love watching your progress with each season and with different kinds of produce. You are great work for yourself’s and the community 😊 maybe one day when my husband and I come visit Sicily we can come tour your garden, if okay of course
@RitaXyz-yf4de Thank you! We love our green autumn garden! It's such a difference compared to summer one. We are proud of what we do, and we wish there were more people doing it. We are planing to do farm tours during summer with olive oil tasting. So we would love to welcome some people on our farm ❤️
Thank you! Those shirts we got a long time ago, but we love them. Most of the times we accidentally match what we are wearing 😆 We are just honest about what we do, and many people don't have all of this knowledge, so we try to tell why we are different from the rest.
I just discovered you from the United States. I am watching and writing from southeast Minnesota. You seem like a very nice couple who also work very hard. I also love the fact that you are growing and selling "health." Vegetables that are not sprayed with anything are probably rare. I'm glad you make the effort to do that. And, aside from what you eat (yourselves) and grow, you are also doing a lot of manual labor which is very good for your overall health. Movement at any age is vital to maintain good health. Congratulations on your success. I am currently pursuing Italian citizenship by descent, and I hope to visit Sicily soon if I am able to get dual citizenship. I have never been, but it looks beautiful. All the best to you from America, and I look forward to watching your earlier videos. Buon lavoro e buona fortuna.
Hello and welocme Minnesota 👋 It's so nice to have some many wonderful people here! We want to do what's best for our local community because that's what everybody should be demanding from their suppliers! It was difficult 4 years, but it seems that word of mouth is spreading, and people want better quality vegetables. We hope you will enjoy our videos. And if you visit Sicily one day you will definitely enjoy this beautiful place. Grazie ❤️
I love to see how hard you two are working and how you deliver all the incredible fresh vegetables. I think you are both amazing and we need more people like you to have fresh top quality food.
That's partially the reason why we started this channel - to inpsire other people to do something good for the community. We have been inspired by other people on TH-cam too. Thank you for your kind words ❤️
Another great vlog! Thank you! I wish I had still that many vegetables in my garden..this week really cold weather started here and killed all my tomatoes 😢
We are really lucky to be able to grow everything all year round ( except summer ) 😆 We finished tomatoes a long time ago, and you were lucky to enjoy them for so long. Hopefully, you managed to preserve some for winter as well. ❤️
Wish I lived near you, so I can also buy your beautifully grown vegetablea; you are adding your genuine PERSONAL care to the entire proces which is FABULOSO❣💚❣ Wishing you a fantastic autumn season, with sold out signs daily😉 Keep going, "Forzaaaa"🎊🌞, Saluti de Holanda🙋🏼♀️🌞
We wish everyone could have local growers like us who really care about the quality of their produce. This autumn looks very good so far and we are really happy 😊 Thank you for your encouragement and kind words ❤️ Warm regards from Sicily to Holland 🌞
Home grown farm produce can never be beaten in terms of everything healthy, not to mention the beautiful difference in taste . Your community is so lucky to have people like you guys on their doorstep.
You are right! Home grown produce is always on another level, especially because it has wonderful taste. We are lucky that people are starting to understand the beauty of locally grown and good quality produce.
Where I am in the US, although there are local farms too, for some produce, almost everything has either been shipped 3,000 miles (4800 km) from California or even further from Mexico and South America. I bought basil this week and it was in a little plastic box - wilted and dead. I forgot what a privilege it used to be in the old days when I had a big garden. I think most people here have forgotten what real food tastes like.
We became too dependent on a few big producers. Even here in Sicily, too many things are imported now, and local farmers are giving up. Its wonderful when people grow their own food, so they know the real flavours. I can understand how you feel when you have to live on a tastless food compared to your own produce that was so much more nutritious and tastier. I had an apple from the shop the other day, and I couldn't understand what was wrong with it. While it was sweet, the texture was airy and strange, and it didn't feel anything like apple we know. That's why kids don't like vegetables these days because they are tastless.
You both are so lovely. I’m hoping so much to find a good area to purchase a farm area home and grow my own produce and to sell in a small way to a community in piemonte. For now I’m still learning so much and thanks so much to both of you. 😊
Thank you 😊 We hope that you will make your dream come true. It's nice you have a similar dream to ours. It's a tough job, but it's so rewarding at the same time ❤️ Believe me, after 4 years that we have been doing it seems like there is still so much to learn. That's why it's so wonderful too.
It’s nice that people have the freedom to make their own choices even if it is from a commercial market. Negative publicity is not good. Positive approach is the best. 🤞 😊
That's not a negative publicity. It's called education. More and more people are starting to look for better tasting and better quality food. Unless you are in the sector, you might not know all what's happening in the food production sector. Everyone has their right to choose, but the problem is that the food chain is broken and people are not getting quality food that they are paying for. We say that everybody should demand quality and flavour.
Direct contact with the customer has been lost by commodity agri-businesses...You show the way it should be but it's a long road to re-education of both the growers and the consumers...Love your content.
Thank you ❤️ We always believed that at some point, we would stand up above the rest because of the quality. It took as 4 years ago, but now we are finally starting to see wonderful results. We love doing delivery too. It seems like people appreciate it, too 😃 Thank you for your support, it means a lot to us ❤️
So kind of you to think of us ❤️ The heavy rain affected areas are on the other side of the island. We are still waiting for some good rain. Thank you for thinking of us ❤️
Aww...so nice to hear that people actually want to come to see us. Motelepre is a nearby. We are trying to create a couple of pages where people can book a farm tour.
How do you decide which veggies to try out? Some must have much higher margins than others. Perhaps a better question might be if you avoid growing some stuff because the margin is too low?
We are selling more or less everything for a similar price. We specialise in winter greens mostly, and that's rather sustainable for us because most of them regrow leaves. We don't grow carrots or cauliflower that takes loads of space, and people don't appreciate it. We tell people that they won't buy it for the price we would ask for a cauliflower as it takes almost 6 months for one product. It's more labour intensive what we do at the same time.
What kind of zucca do you have? We planted quite a few different ones, but it grows during summer and needs too much water. So we might not be doing it anymore. What kind of zucca is it? We probably tired it already 😆 We never had success with them, it's way too hot here.
@SomethingLikeThis1 in italiano si chiama zucca spaghetti! Provate a fare una ricerca! Di origine è sudamericana! A me zucche dolci non piacciono! Questa ha un gusto neutro tipo patata, per quello molti la consumano al posto della pasta, perché è ipocalorica! Qui in Romagna cresce bene ma la stagione forse è troppo corta! Comunque su internet si trovano diverse ricette molto gustose! A me spedire non costa nulla!
@s.n.6558 It's so thoughtful of you! Thank you for thinking of us ❤️ We are the lucky ones. We got just a bit of the rain, finally it watered our garden but we would need more. Unfortunately, the other side of the Sicily is flooding, and it's really scary to see all of the images 😔 🙏
If only I could get some of your vegetables to taste. Thank you for sharing
We wish we could share our food with everybody ❤️
Brawo! Myślę, że nikt kto nie uprawiał nigdy ziemi, nie wie ile pracy kosztuje wyhodowanie tych pięknych warzyw. Brawo!!! Podziwiam Was!
You are too kind! Thank you for your praise. It's is a hard job but it's very rewarding as well ❤️

One of the best channels on TH-cam. My wife & I love your channel.
Very kind of you ❤️ We are happy to hear you like what we do.
You've created a great and efficient system for delivering the freshest produce possible on an as-needed basis! Everything is so well-organized. Your customers are so fortunate.
Thank you! We have been working on it for 4 years! And we are happy with our little but honest business ❤️
Congratulation guys, I’ll give you a lot of credit, you got guts. Wish you the best of luck. 👍😊🙏
@stevedimartino683 Thank you! We are still trying, and it looks like luck might be finally turning towards us 😃 🙏
Well done ,,i am so proud of you guys ,,even miles away I like what you two are doing ,I feel I a am part of your community .. Keep up the good work .. Peter from South Africa ..
Thank you, Peter. We love it when people are supporting what we do and build this community that gives us inspiration to move forward ❤️

I like the matching shirts in the beginning of the video :-) and YES you should be bragging about the quality of your produce

Thank you ❤️
Hope you are well as I have read news reports, there have been extremely heavy rains over Sicily
So kind of you to think of us ❤️ The heavy rain affected areas are on the other side of the island. We are still waiting for some good rain. Thank you for thinking of us ❤️
I will be in Montelepre in April, would like to visit the farm.
Aww...so nice to hear that people actually want to come to see us. Motelepre is a nearby. We are trying to create a couple of pages where people can book a farm tour.
In case I missed it - sorry. But do you also ship the olive oil?
Unfortunately, this year we didn't make enough - it's just for us and our family. Hopefully, next year, the harvest will be better.
How do you decide which veggies to try out? Some must have much higher margins than others. Perhaps a better question might be if you avoid growing some stuff because the margin is too low?

Hi guys! How can I send you some seeds? Ho una speciale zucca che in italia è ancora sconosciuta!una vera particolarità! ❤
What kind of zucca do you have? We planted quite a few different ones, but it grows during summer and needs too much water. So we might not be doing it anymore. What kind of zucca is it? We probably tired it already 😆 We never had success with them, it's way too hot here.

I see there's big trouble on Sicily. I'm worried about you both, your family and the garden!

I hope you charge for delivery.
We don't, but there is a minimum spend of 5€. Here, it wouldn't work if we charged for the delivery.
I really like what you do. What is the name of your Facebook page?
Thank you ❤️ Our Fb page is in Italian. It's called "Beddu Cori".
