Buseknitz are really solid shoes but like a week in to skating them, the stitching next to the laces ripped and the side of the shoe practically fell apart.
For over a year & so; Kyle Walker Pro 2's been my main. Comfort, feel, durable, design & overall is the best I've worn since Nike SB Dunks first dropped in the early 2000's. Nike has then abandoned it's quality for quantity in their shoe making process. Luckily Kyle Pro 2's came and established their place in board kicks.
Hey man, after reading your comment and not really liking the design in most of the shoes in the video, I drove out to a Vans about an hour away that had them, and I gotta say, best shoes I’ve had in my life, thanks for this comment. The grip on these shoes are insane, and make every trick super easy, will buy another pair for sure.
Dude, I can’t find them in my size for the life of me, but 8 years ago I started skating the Evan smith dc tx shoes, they were the greatest shoes I’ve ever used. Best board feel immediately, no time to break them in, and the toe cap was perfect. They featured the lil inverted cones in the sole which gave impact protection, I so wish they continued making them, I loved them so much.
Nike must put this rule: If you want too buy a Sb Dunk you have to make a kickflip or some other trick. I wanna see all that greedy resellers desperate😂
I was able to get SBs on clearance for around $50 several years ago. Now this sudden hype/resellers as of recent has just about eliminated any more chances of that. 😑
The best shoes that I ever skated were the Adidas Campus Vulc 1 back in 2007. These came out in the second collection that Adidas Skateboarding ever created and later on there were many more colorways on the market. You can still skate them in EA Skate 2 and 3 and every pro wore them in the old Adidas Diagonal Video. Such a beautiful, long lasting and cleanly processed shoe. It is so sad that they don't produce it anymore.
I've had 4 pair of the classic janoski's and they are an amazing all around shoe, even though I dont skate as much now I've walked over 500 miles in my latest pair which have lasted 2 years so far.
i think one of the best skateshoes is the adidas 3st.004. I´ve been skating these for 5 months nearly everyday and they don´t een got a hole or something like that. The impact u feel is minimal cuz of the "boost" in the heel. I love these shoes and i defenatly recommand these to everyone
that's because he's talking about the better skate shoes out there, what do you expect him to say? "Yeah this is a pretty ass shoe, I would never buy it even if I would shit on it when it arrives. Next shoe..."
Personally I LOVE my es Accel OGs They're insanely bulky but they feel insanely comfortable to walk and skate in. There's so much cushion on the tongue and surrounding the ankle that any movement feels like the shoes is hugging your feet with a pillow. The craziest part is despite all the padding, it doesn't get rid of your board feel! I can still feel my board perfectly fine and the thick cushioning just helps me feel like I'm skating on a cloud. Maybe not for everybody but I've never skated a more comfortable shoe.
Definitely should skate DCs. I've skated vans and Nike for most of my life then got free DCs. They were INSANELY comfortable and lasted about two months even though they were already warn out. They have padding everywhere and are sort of bulky but for big sets and large drops these shoes are perfect!!
Really liked the video, and the finale was awesome, I'm in loved with the original Nyjah Free, they just fell excellent on my feet, comfortable, light and solid. I hope I can try the new iteration soon.
I like my Es accel slims. I don't skate them very much because for as expensive as they are- they don't have an Ollie pad. Look at the rubber trim around Etnies Marana toebox. That's what makes a skate shoe last and not wear holes within a few months. An Ollie pad. This guy at 5:44 describes an ollie pad as a fused on rubber texture or something nebulous...Ollie pads came on all skate shoes until this vulcanized girls shoe vans off the wall lookin slipper trend started
You left off the beat show I’ve ever skated lol. Vans Ave Pro is absolutely the best, good board feel, good padding, good insole, suede toe, breathable, well placed laces. The shoe has it all. But very good video with some very underrated shoes.
This manz is right about everything besides dunks. Dunks starting retail is 110$ and they are hard to get for retail. So a good pair of sb dunks are around 210$
SB Dunks, especially the lows, were a thing back in the early 2000's. Before "hypebeasts" & resellers completely ruined it for genuine boarders. Nike's shoe quality then was pretty notch for a company that mainly deals with basketball shoes & sports cleats. After 2010's to now; Their shoe quality went down drastically as the shoe prices increased substantially. They concentrate more on 'one of a kind' looking shoes with the dunks over actual, reliable board shoes. Luckily Janoski's stay grounded.
etnies marana, they got me surviving a fall after bombing a very steep road. it absorb all the impact as i landed on my own to foot without feeling a thing.
His name is pronounced that way. "Steh-fawn Jan-ow-ski" he's from the same town as me my mom's friend got engaged to him hella long ago. Just how u pronounce it
The Janoskis aren't pronounced as 'now-ski' at all, Polish name or not. And this is coming from my Polish friends who ride those shoes. There's no 'now' sound, but rather a 'nos' as in Thanos. It's pronounced as 'nose-ski' basically. The only people calling it 'now-ski' are weird 'Americans'.

I actually pushed for about 100m and I know it's not that much but it's HUGE to me ! I feel like I can finally do something with my board !
My personal favorites are éS accel og's. A very simple pair of shoes that last super long and skate great, if you dont mind giving away a bit of boardfeel. They also are crazy comfy and offer a ton of protection from your board hitting your feet and impact!
Brooooo the whole video I was waiting to see some DC’s. Honestly if you’ve never tried them before it’s a absolute must! Highly recommend DC OG Lynx or OG Kalis 10/10 shoes to skate in
I don't know if they are still available but the Emerica Brayden Szafranski suede low tops were 1 of my all time favorite most durable & light shoes. Triple stitched, great feel
I feel like Nike is just inconsistent some reviews say the shoe breaks in weeks others say they can last to almost a year, I just bought some Nyjah's hoping they aren't the bad ones but kind of a gamble so we will see!
Great vid! I was looking to get etnies maranas, but now I’m also interested in Converse. Which would you say lasted longer for you? Btw, Vans TNTs lasted me a solid year of skating everyday. They were even skate able after the toe can had worn through, as the dura cap rubber underneath the shoe stayed.
The Vans TNT for me longed 1 month ,and I skate pool ,they worned off in kickflips, and the shoe sole had separed,so I think that TNT Sucks For me and more 2 friends off mine the shoe sole separed ,so dont know if it was that shippement but..
The Maranas i have have a different toe cap it's not rubber and does not grip to the grip tape literally slides straight off the board when trying to do any trick..super comfy if only I knew
My favourite shoes to skate in by far are Emerica Dicksons. Super comfy, cheap, and last forever. 👍 Vans Walker Pros sound pretty good too, though... maybe I'll give those a try when my pair of Emerica's finally wear through. Thanks for the video and the recommendations!
I came, I heard adidas busenitz vulc so I can leave in peace. Ive been skating for over 15 years and after trying a whole freaking lot of shoes, I mainly skate busenitz now. I always try some other shoes here and there but nothing come close to dethroning it.
Fp sentinel are some of the best shoes around I'm surprised they are not as known as they should be. Great grip, board feel even though it's a cupsole, suede and rubber toe cap and the main thing they are constructed to absorb almost all impact, up to 40% more then the janoskis. I've been skating these for the past year and I've always sworn by Nike and etnies but the life of these are crazy and now I've skated these I'm not going back.
Had a pair of sentinel 2’s. Best shoes ever. Amazing board feel from day one. Last forever, comfortable and full impact protection. I’m surprised they are not more popular
Chuck Taylor's are fun to skate in as long as you like putting in new laces between every Ollie. Cotton laces don't survive long in between Metal eyelets and mob grip. I just ended up only lacing mine halfway down to keep them from ripping
Personal favorite is the Nike SB Verona. The 1st Gen of that shoe (with the “elephant skin”) skated like a dream and lasted forever. Not to mention one of the most stylish shoes you could wear. Surprised the Old Skools weren’t included here
So one persons telling me they last forever and the others telling me they suck. I skate everyday and take it seriously. I do lots of flip tricks I’m thinking they will last two months right? Thanks for your inputs guys😁
i have skated dc legacy slim 98 for over a year now and don’t see myself changing i have 2 spare pairs and have probs had 7 or 8 in the past bc i find they are bulky enough to protect my feet but are easy to break in and also have a really nice feel on the board
Thanks Bro, I skate all the time and my mum keeps on getting me shoes that rip in like a week and she gets annoyed when i rip them. I just need shoes that i can do ollies/kickflips without the ripping :D
Definitely more into durability and feel than looks, although i’d never wear bulky ass Osiris shoes to skate haha. Brand loyalty lies with Lakai, but if not to skate, then to wear around normally.
Vans chukka boots suede 49 reissue! These are the best vans out there I haven’t skated in such a long time so I don’t know about that part of it but in the way they look you can’t beat it.
I’m surprised! Kids are skating in Nike’s and Converse? I still think DC,Globe, and DVS make the best skate shoes! All the shoes he showed looked like the bottoms of my feet would be killing me after I skated and I’d blow straight through those laces in a day!

The Vans TNT for me longed 1 month ,and I skate pool ,they worned off in kickflips, and the shoe sole had separed,so I think that TNT Sucks
For me and more 2 friends off mine the shoe sole separed ,so dont know if it was that shippement but..
Florida Boy the gritty stuff on the toe cap never like wears away
Etnies marana or etnies joslin lasts ages. Also not that it matters but they have hidden lace loops for protection as well.
I don’t really skateboard anymore but van low tops and Ernie’s low tops are so comfortable. Plus they’re easy on and off shoes.
Fallen shoes were the best for me so far. Had one pair for 3 years.
Yeahhh bruhhh! So comfy! RWTF! 🤘
I came, I heard adidas busenitz vulc so I can leave in peace. Ive been skating for over 15 years and after trying a whole freaking lot of shoes, I mainly skate busenitz now. I always try some other shoes here and there but nothing come close to dethroning it.
My Man then you need to skate some new brands missing out big time tbh
I have a favorite from atleast each brand
I just ended up only lacing mine halfway down to keep them from ripping
this comment is very late but thread them so they start a few eyelets up from the bottom
Personal favorite is the Nike SB Verona. The 1st Gen of that shoe (with the “elephant skin”) skated like a dream and lasted forever. Not to mention one of the most stylish shoes you could wear. Surprised the Old Skools weren’t included here
Not owning a board, yet watched the whole thing just for shoe reviews and recommendations 😅
I was looking to get the Nyjah frees but there kinda expensive. How long did they last and is it easy to bust out the toe cap?
TrevorTheRamenNoodle friend of me hated them because they were destroyed extremely quick
i’ve skated 3 different pairs and all lasted me over 3 months. canvas shoes I rip in about 3 weeks and suede shoes in a month. they last forever.
So one persons telling me they last forever and the others telling me they suck. I skate everyday and take it seriously. I do lots of flip tricks I’m thinking they will last two months right? Thanks for your inputs guys😁
@@trevortheramennoodle2135 even if they last long (they didnt for me bc I got a hole in a week) they will hurt your feet and the insole is TERRIBLE
Rn there on sale for like 70$
thanks, i needed this info. im twelve and currently trying to get back into skating, the only shoes i have are vans and im going shopping soon
i have skated dc legacy slim 98 for over a year now and don’t see myself changing i have 2 spare pairs and have probs had 7 or 8 in the past bc i find they are bulky enough to protect my feet but are easy to break in and also have a really nice feel on the board
availability of dunks is something not really available
Great video! But once i figured out that everything you say sounds like a question I couldn't un hear it haha
Who trying to some skywalkers but everything's closed
You forgot the Rowley 66/99 reissues. Incredible skate shoe.
just got my kyle walkers they’re sick
Any shoe from globe right now I've been skate the Sabres for about a year now and I love them
I was like : „oh I have to get these Kyle Walker vans“ after that I Realist that I have these on my feet 😂👍🏻
“These shoes are some of the best shoes out there” almost all of them
Thanks Bro, I skate all the time and my mum keeps on getting me shoes that rip in like a week and she gets annoyed when i rip them. I just need shoes that i can do ollies/kickflips without the ripping :D
You sold me on the Nyjah Free’s by adding that vegan comment lol so thank you :)
Emerica, Lakai and Etnies are the best skate shoe brands that exist!
don’t forget dc
Definitely more into durability and feel than looks, although i’d never wear bulky ass Osiris shoes to skate haha. Brand loyalty lies with Lakai, but if not to skate, then to wear around normally.
Why does he end each sentence like it’s a cross between a comma and a question mark
Can somebody help me? I really like the pants at 3:27 but I have no clue on what brand or model it is....
Back in the Day I love to skate the first Axion Karem Champell Shoes very good quality, but now I love to skate Dc Trase and all Etnies Models:)
Bruh you gotta try new balance numerics those shoes are beautiful
Reynolds 3
Fallen Troopers
Vans Tnt
Just skated my tnt’s yesterday
Am I buggin the video says it’s 4 years old
Vans chukka boots suede 49 reissue! These are the best vans out there I haven’t skated in such a long time so I don’t know about that part of it but in the way they look you can’t beat it.
can you do part 2 please? pretty good video, I leave like
I’m surprised! Kids are skating in Nike’s and Converse? I still think DC,Globe, and DVS make the best skate shoes! All the shoes he showed looked like the bottoms of my feet would be killing me after I skated and I’d blow straight through those laces in a day!
Hey stephen i love your videos and your goal! Please keep uploading and don't give up
