    I had one and kept it for a long time. Replaced the roof lining,headlights,side window rubbers,and many many more parts like the springs but of after all the money I spent I just couldn’t stop the oil leaks. Wherever I parked there was spotting on the tarmac. Finally a young lad bought it. Good riddance. I won’t miss it. Never again. I also have a new set of beige carpets should anyone wish them

    • @TheNorthernExplorer
      @TheNorthernExplorer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Nuno! To be honest I’ve never really thought about it, I look after the coolant system, it’s had new radiator, water pump and expansion tank so should be okay, I always watch the temp gauge and never let it get hot. To be fair here in England the engine runs pretty cold anyway and never gets past halfway on the gauge

    • @NunoMartins_01
      @NunoMartins_01 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

  • @gregreed402

    I see you said that you stand on the roof rack ,how are the roof guttering handling that . Did you know that where the rook rack brackets connect to the gutters they will break the roof gutter seal and and water will get in and the rest is history. I had a 1991 Nissan safari absolutely mint then I put a roof rack on and fixed it to the gutters. Yeap it cranked the sealant and the entire roof rusted out 😢. I had to sell it , it would cost $4 to 5000 bucks to repair and there was no guarantee that the rust was down in to the door pillars .

    • @TheNorthernExplorer
      @TheNorthernExplorer  ปีที่แล้ว

      The roof is strong enough to take a good bit of weight, I get what you mean but the roof rack holds a roof tent and 2 adults with no problems. I have checked the seals and no cracking so far, the rack has been on a good few years
