No, that isn’t “exactly” how to do it. Of course bilingualism is the greatest gift parents can give a child beyond the essentials (love, food, shelter &c.) but whilst it does no harm to translate things in that way, it’s not useful either. Each parent just needs to speak to the child in a different language and decline to understand when the child speaks to them in the other one. (I am a language teacher and have lived in many countries as a non-native speaker, and thus have also known many families where at least one parent came from outside the country.
The way she waited to hold her son instead of holding her daughter when he arrived. That’s very thoughtful. I think it helped him to realise that he is with them to meet the baby.
The way they're being so sensitive to him is touching ! A lot of parents don't factor in jealousy, but they are dealing with the introduction of his new baby sister really well. Love that the Mum held him close first, really reassuring him. Sometimes I think it is just shocking for them not to be the centre of attention anymore😒. Love how gentle he's being with her!

My dad would take my oldest son for walks almost every day, since he was 1.5 yrs. old, until my dad's passing in 2009. You are doing a fantastic job, mom and dad! ❤️
Hello how are you doing 😊👋😊☺️
@@markclinton8681 Dude, there are dating websites online, no need to hit on multiple women in TH-cam comments. I am embarrassed for you, man. Comment on the video or reply to other comments or move on, duh. You're as off trail as the evangelicals preaching in comment threads under videos about DOGS.
Such a sweet video of family bonding with their new baby. Big brother will be very appreciated in this little girls life!
how amazing! wish u z best.. i still remember my daughter's reaction..she was so confused.. so honest..i still cry when i remember that! kuds r z sweetest creatures in the whole world
This was the video I was waiting for. So beautiful...thank you for sharing it. I remember being just as emotional Zar, it’s because our family is all together for the first time. There’s so much to bringing in the older sibling to meeting the new one. Hormones drive emotions, but I think it goes so much deeper. The realization that your children are with you for the first time...that their lifelong friendship is beginning right then. And you, you look simply radiant with all the love pouring out of your eyes. Again, thank you for sharing so much. And congratulations again, and again, and again. I’m so happy for you all 💕
Hello how are you doing 😊😊👋😊
The cutest siblings meeting I’ve eveer seeen awhhh he’s so precious and caring 😭😭😭😭😭🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
Какие вы счастливые, пронесите это ощущение через всю вашу долгую жизнь. У вас чудесные дети. Здоровья и счастья вашей семье!
Please--I’m emotional and I have four grown and grandchildren. This is beauty. Such a special family. Thank you. It’s gratifying to see these values.
That's a Kodak moment with your little boy seen his little sister for the 1st time what a wonderful family God has blessed you over and over twice with 2 kids God-bless you
Such a beautiful video, guys ! Such pure intense moments not to be found anywhere except when you become a parent. And no matter how much someone tries to express or explain what that feeling is, you don’t get it until you become a parent yourself. . I was remembering my phase too and crying with you . Profound emotions !
What an adorable moment.. .The boy was so curious.
At least he didn't ask his parents to return the baby to the market like my cousin did 😂😂😂
My elder son asked to sell his lil brother thro OLX 😂😂
@ Taifa "return the baby to the market". Why do I find this so cute, and funny? 😂
My mom was adopted and when they brought her home she was crying in the car. My uncle, 6 years old at the time says "can we take her back?"
He is such a sweetheart, congratulations, a beautiful family.
Hes so sweet and gentle to baby sister....what a grand family you have!!! 🎊 CONGRATULATIONS
Hi everyone ! What a lovely little boy. So gentle with his baby sister. He loves her so much. And mam and dad are over whelmed with him. Maria 💗 xx
This was beautiful to watch, the emotion from Mumma, the adorable looks, touches and curiosity from the little one to his sister, and Papa looking on proudly. The flowers, that he had picked himself, for Mumma, was just so cute. This took me back about 27 years ago, introducing my son to his new sister. What precious moments you've captured, that I'm sure you'll all look back on in time , repeatedly. Blessings to you and your family
He was so adorable with his baby sister he was so gentle and so loving with her
Crying my eyes out watching this beautiful video.
The first time that little boy says "sissy " omg couldn't stop crying!!!

Yep, you had me crying again, but they are with such happy tears for you and your family. The way Rowan was hugging you and then yelled, "BABY", He is so excited and so gentle with her. I loved when he was hitting the pillow because he wanted her to wake up and open her eyes. God bless you and your family.
The first meeting of them couldn´t be more beautiful and sweet. He´s gonna be a fantastic big brother who will take care of Lyla whenever it´s necessary. Congrats to you all again. From Vienna with love :-)
