a child watching TV for a couple minutes doesn't really tell a lot about it. child is happy when Elmo sings/speaks, because that's a character the child knows and likes. child is sad when the other character sings/speaks because it has a strange voice/tone and is trying to put Elmo to bed. it is a very sweet child though and i hope it doesn't watch TV much.

EXACTLY! Not just this baby. Any baby. That's why parents have to get to family habit to play music for their young children. Start very early. Music works wonders! Introduce as many geanres as possible. Later on your child will sort it out.

Babies see the world through their souls....they have not yet had their souls beaten and bruised by life....their souls are right there at the surface. Listen to a baby or young toddler laugh...it's the purest laugh..it's the soul laughing. Few people make it to adulthood with their souls still close to the surface...in most cases the soul has retreated to that deep dark place in the pit of our stomach....hence, that feeling in your gut when you just instinctively know something...that'syour soul talking to you. At this baby's age, his soul is responding to the power and emotion of the music. This is how I see things....in regard to the soul...it may not be correct....but it's correct for me and how I see the world. It makes sense to me.

I love Bocelli's voice. My nephew (13 yrs) had never heard him before and I played Perfect by Ed Sheeran and Bocelli and he loved it (despite not liking music with words). As soon as he heard Bocelli, he lit up and said, "woah, I was not expecting that." His voice is so powerful and captivating.

I love Bocelli's voice. My nephew (13 yrs) had never heard him before and I played Perfect by Ed Sheeran and Bocelli and he loved it (despite not liking music with words). As soon as he heard Bocelli, he lit up and said, "woah, I was not expecting that." His voice is so powerful and captivating.
