  • A lot of customers ask us how they can make very soft body butters or lotions that do not require water and preservatives. We are showing you how to do that in simple steps and using just two simple ingredients which you can find in our online store www.osloveorga...
    You need only two ingredients
    Tamanu butter: www.osloveorga...

    Great video thanks! Just wondering though, is this a pumpable lotion?

    Does the oil ever separate through time? Or does it stay that consistency no matter what?

    • @osloveorganics
      @osloveorganics  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It stays that way. It never separates. I haven't tried it outside normal room temperature. It might melt down if temps are over 90 degrees which is never in my house.

    Without the water or preservatives, won't it grow mold after a while? Should this be kept in the fridge to prevent that?

    • @osloveorganics
      @osloveorganics  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Because it doesn’t have water, it won’t grow mold.

    Thank you so much for getting back to me. I love how You present your DIY videos. I will be making a order soon. I did make a body butter with Shea, mango and cocoa butters and it came out creamy but the texture changed a little once it settled and I wanted it to stay creamy and fluffy. I also used lavender essential oil in it and it didn't give me a pleasant smell. I was looking for more of a mango scent. What do you have that would give me a mango scent?

    • @osloveorganics
      @osloveorganics  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You will need to purchase artificial fragrance oils as Mango butter does not smell like mango. If you purchase one that does, then it is not natural. Mango butter comes from the mango seed and not the pulp. We don’t sell fragrance oils. But you can definitely search the net for it.

    Hello, what size is your face and body oil and the organic hair oil? Also if I use either of these oils in my butter of choice, can they both be used in my hair and body. In other words if I make a body butter with the face and body oil can I also use it in my hair? And if I make a hair butter with the organic hair oil can I use it on my body as well?

    • @osloveorganics

      They are both 4oz bottles. The oils are virgin and organic. All our butters can be used on hair and body. We recommend the lighter butters for anti-aging face creams.

      Use 3 oz tamanu to 1 oz of our face and body oil.

    I would love to try this and going to purchase the two items. However, what is the measurements of the butter and oil?

    • @osloveorganics
      @osloveorganics  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on how soft you want yours to be. I'd suggest a 70:30 percent ratio.

    If I have a nut allergy, which of your butters is safe for me to try. I have already purchased your Mango Butter from Amazon. I LOVE it by the way. I wanted to try a couple more if at all possible. Thanks in advance.

    Does it ever get hardened? How long does it last before going bad? What about using Shea butter? Is it also good for eczema? Is it very moisturising? Thank you. Love from Cyprus, an island in the Mediterranean where the temperatures are high.

    • @osloveorganics
      @osloveorganics  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This doesn't harden. For warmer temperatures, I'll recommend adding a hard butter like Kokum or Illipe to provide stability.
