great job, looks awesome. i've debadged (and some times rebadged) all my rides for years...watching you heat gun and rub off the adhesive with your fingers reminded me of MANY burnt fingertips. 3M eraser wheel FTW, then you can help your friends do it right too.

Hello Ryan, I have a question about tint jobs. Say you rolled down the window 5 hours after a tint job, if there is no visible damage to the tint, would you say it's fine and as if nothing happened?

I’m looking to remove the Lonestar decal on the back of the bed. The decal/sticker is fading and would like to complete remove it just leaving the emblem in the back. Anyone know if this would be a similar process or if it would leave marks/paint issues?
What's up ! I own a ram 2500 6.4 hemi. From day one,My mirror are up all the time. Then again ,I drive a semi truck so feel comfortable with the mirrors up. Much more area to see .

Ryan Mayer personally I would get a OEM one because when you paint over the front it chips easy because of chrome is practically melted over the ram emblem
Dude - Look in a junk yard for a wrecked truck where the badge did not get damaged and its the color you want !!!!! Paint it or vinyl is also an option !!!
They sell a rubber wheel that you can attach to your wireless drill and that will take that adhesive right off... Most automotive paint supply stores sell them and they are fairly cheap. If you take your time it works great.. And as I was typing you shoot to the part where you are using the rubber wheel.... Too funny
Please don't plasti dip. I did that with 2 vehicles. It fades over time, I'm in the process now of redoing my ss impala logos. I went to a local junkyard and found all emblems except the ss had to order those from dealership. You will need bulldog adhesive promoter, then I used red caliper paint so far so good. Be generous with clear protective coat.
Have to leave the Ram on the tailgate with the recessed spot but you should have left the other badges off. I would on mine but the jackasses at Ford put holes in th truck for pins

I DO NOT LIKE IT, yes, I’m sorry..i just don’t like it.. i used it on my old vehicle and you put it on it’s ok...looks good, but when it actually come off will be impossible almost to get it clean..will peal everywhere looking like completely crap ! Trick with the glue, spat on the goo-gone and then cover it in plastic wrap and let it sit for an hour or two. Softens the glue up really well.
I had same trouble with the glue when I removed some of the badges from my Ram. Took me forever! Great work, super meticulous.

Believe it or else... "Turtle Wax Sticker & Label Remover" beats everything for removing problem adhesives.

Ryan, "Plasti-Dip" Big Horn badge. Auto Zone carries it in spray can. Since you've already removed it, try it. The black badges look way better :-).

Yes I wouldn’t repeat it tho, as long as the tint has not shifted or ripped off!

Why don't you try to plastidip the bighorn emblem? Put a clear coat over top and it should look pretty good if anything you would be out maybe $10.
