Great video Rob . Many Thanks. I remember a second half sit down protest at the Notts County away game but singing Billy Bonds name regularly so that he knew the protests were not directed at him. I can't remember how our Bond scheme differed from the Rangers and Arsenal ones but you have brilliantly summarised in a few sentences how completely unattractive it was. It's also worth remembering that there were many Hammers fans in Fleet Street at the time so the press were on this from day one and backed the fans protests.
More great work Rob. I remember these times like they were yesterday and actually considered buying a bond ! All part of being part of the best fan base in the land bar none. Once again thanks for putting these out there mate COYIs 👍🏻⚒
I actually regret not buying a bond - i didn’t as a matter of principle at the time - anyhow these videos show how far we’ve come in terms of the quality of players we now have
To reduce the capacity to a proposed 25,000 was a complete joke, bearing in mind our massive support. I’ll admit that I was tempted to buy a bond at the time, but due to having a young family, a mortgage and various outgoings, etc, I couldn’t justify doing so. However, all these years later, the bond holders still receive a priority for buying away match tickets. I have also been told by people within the club that bonds have been sold on by the original holders, or by their families upon their deaths, but the club have no way in which to police this.
Storrie the snidey snake. The worst thing that ever happened to our club was his appointment and the money he walked away with when the club was sold to the Icelandics was obscene.
These are so great. 👏🏻👏🏻
I remember the Liverpool game being on live TV on a sunday afternoon, the most one sided 0-0 game, we should have won it 3/4 nil.

I remember the sack the board chants and was there most of the games when the board was getting stick from the fans and deservedly so
