I would never want an SUV (silly unnecessary vehicle) I have driven estates for years. I have had a superb estate , an XF estate and now I have a 508 estate ( ok Station wagon) they always drive better, look better and have pretty much all of the practicality of an SUV. Long live the estate!
You say this car is the UK Sport model, but it is fitted with the fully electric memory seat/steering wheel pack which is not listed as an option in the UK and only available with AMG line Premium pack and above. So what exactly is this car?
I’m willing to bet it’s a specially optioned press car, because it’s listed as a Sport Premium on the registration (which doesn’t exist on the configurator). It’s not surprising that Mercedes could’ve done this, historically they’ve paid very special attention to their press cars.
Not unless it has a proper 3 pointed star hood ornament. I don’t personally like the way these new Mercedes look. I prefer a more elegant and timely fashion with a proper 3 pointed start sitting on top of the hood. Like the w204. I also want more wood & luxuries none of this technology garbage that is not in any way luxurious. It’s all too much hard work.
Far cooler than ANY SUV: understated class. For those without fragile egos, who 'need' an oversized SUV to make themselves feel better.

Sport trim looks well appointed and probably be happy with it but you'd have to be prepared to be talked down to by the mercedes sales staff.

car and engine 220 d is great but outer design is really borning. No emotions, nothing. Specially in this silver color .

I'll keep my 1970 300SEL 6.3 with three speed automatic gearbox and a key to activate life and buttons for everything
