This video is great. It is the only one that I saw, using pins in the hinge assembly to fix them in the lock position. Without this I could not get the door out. I then used the video to remove a broken glass. This was all very helpful!

My oven door hinges have been broken over 7 years. I used some magnets during this entire time to help keep the door shut and a chair propped when cooking. I did have a repair man out but he indicated the entire door needed replaced (an entire door is expensive!). I finally started to research on how to replace the hinges. Alas, I found this video and replaced the hinges all by myself (had trouble with finding pins to put in old hinges but sawed off some screws and they worked just fine). Thank you so very much for the video. You helped this lady out!

Thanks so much. It was the door removal method I needed that no one else seemed to show for my KEMS307DBL1. Everyone kept telling me to pull down the locks and dead silence when I said there are none. Saved me a service call for my cracked glass. Cheers!

You have no idea how much head ache you just saved me. I thought that I had to take the entire oven apart to get to the assembly.. wow!

Just replaced both hinges on my whirlpool oven that I had it for 20 years. The new hinges came with the pins. Just remove them with a flat jaw locking plier and use them to remove the oven door hinges. Once you remove the oven door hinges, just use the same pins on the new hinges. Probably easier if you have one person holding down the lock hinge while the other person removes the pin. My son helped me. Took about 30 minutes. I was using magnets for about a year to hold the oven door in places.

Awesome video, my husband and I replaced the hinges. Wish that Parts Select.com would have sent a couple of the pins needed to take the old hinges off, other than that we have a new oven door that closes now. Thanks for the instructional video!

At 5:57 into the video..DO NOT use a drill to tighten the handle screws!!!!!!! If you do, you will shatter the glass. There will be a loud POP as the glass shatters with little saftey glass pieces scattering EVERYWHERE!!! There are no standoffs..other than flimsy stick on foam.. to keep the METAL bracket from compressing the GLASS. And yes I learned the hard way. It happens to be a $180 lesson. Use a screw driver and HAND TIGHTEN ONLY.

Hi Marat! I have the same oven and for cleaning the glasses, I uninstalled them. Now, am not sure how to put them back!! Is it possible for you to help me? Am absolutely sure is the same reference as in this video.

Sure. Its kind of complicated to assemble it back, I don't recall how it goest, I don't work with residential stuff anymore for over 5 years now. Here is what I would do. Go too Searspartsdirect.com and they used to have there part finder for any model, enter your model number it should give you picture of break down diagram on the door - you will see on that picture what goes where, I hope that website still exist. Good Luck!

First let me say I appreciate your attempt to share with the world your expertise on how to perform this task. However, I became deeply upset watching you do your job without the slightest concern for the homeowner's floors and cabinets. Are you going to pay for the scratches and dents you cause? Put down a protective barrier of some sort and show some respect for those who employ you.

Thank for comment. This is old video from times that I used to do residential appliances(my start up, I end up doing HVAC - commercial mostly). Good thing - there was no scratches or dents on the floor or cabinets in the kitchen that I cause, so I did not have to pay for anything You mentioned. But Yes over all I used to pay from my own pocket or use my liability insurance for damage I cause.
