You don’t “supercharge” at home... get a wall outlet $3000 means your electrician is ripping you off or your house isn’t ideal.. cost me $600 and on average it’s $1000 ... you don’t need wall charger 🔌 just a 240 outlet
@@EvanMooreZ My Tesla "Wall Connector" (since its not a charger and the charger is actually ON the car) gives me 45 miles per hour charge on a 75 amp circuit.
Or you can just do it yourself and it will cost like $200. It really ain't that hard, internet exists for a reason. The primary requirement is not being an idiot and not cutting corners when doing it yourself, that's it.
Exactly, he could have also just used a standard 110 outlet if he really didn’t want to pay for it. It’s better than not charging at all, which is what he was doing. I think this guy is actually stupid.
Actually, 120v charger are not a viable option. Way to slow. I own a model 3 I should now. However, there is no way installing a home charger costs $3000.
Wow, I have owned hundreds of ICE cars and I can say in all honesty my new Model Y is the best car I have ever owned. I just got the SR and its fine for me. I love the room and I charge at home on EV hours. The torque is faster then any car you own, I guarantee that. You need to find a solution for home charging, there is a way to do it or you have a dryer outlet which will work.
Also look in the video, he talks about posture but shows the headrest is actually perfect spot to have a straight neck!. Second he says he was going under the speed limit in his drive yet was doing 75mph. He said a 10 hour drive took 15 hours yet he would have only had to charge once maybe twice in that distance and said he stayed an extra 10 minutes, (at 7 min 5 seconds) (should have for 25 mins, stayed extra 10 minutes less than 1.5 times and then says he stayed there for almost double as long) math is way off
I feel his pain.. I bought a new Mini and want to sell it because it's not a 7 seat people carrier like I expected after my extensive research. AND the headrests don't adjust..
@@Vonliten not really, the headrest is in the optimal ergonomic position, that's why it doesn't need to be changed. I drove mercedes and tesla. Have to say never had better seats then a tesla

In fact none of these things expect my specific range issue has been talked about. Ive had multiple people reach out to me about them since I posted this video which goes to show how non-broadcasted they are
@@HaydenBowles the range issue is not 2.3 x. If you see a drop that high then your battery is definitely defective! Ours drops about 1.2x (P3D+). However if you are driving 50,000 mi a year your electric range is only from 50 to 250 mi so at 75 mph that would be 170 usable miles. Charge higher than 85% or lower than 15% and you will destroy the battery too soon!
No one gets a super charger at home dude. They get a wall charger I installed myself on other side of the house for $200 in materials. It doesnt cost $3k
Eh if the breaker box was on the other side of his house and you were trying to bring a line to the other side so it chargers in the garage I can see how it would be more expensive. Not sure if it would 3k tho it only costed me $200 maybe they’re high-balling him.
@@kof2001kof Lol. It seems you are wrong. Tesla sells every car they make faster than any other company, and they keep increasing their deliveries by approximately 50% per year.
Lol this guy is an idiot. You buy an electric car as a daily driver where it’s gunna save you commuting fuel costs.. not to sleep in comfortably and take road trips.
Don’t know where you got your calculations on the cost of the super chargers. We just took a weeklong trip from Denver to Palm Springs in October in our Tesla Model 3. We charged about 200 miles every time we stopped, never spent more than $16.00 for a charge, which was approximately 1/2 of what I would have paid for gas in my BMW X3 M40i. Even though the navigation tried to recommend we stop and charge for 15 minutes every 50 miles or so, we made sure we were aware of where the super chargers were and drove as far as we could, generally to a level not less than 50 miles. We also found that the mileage was true, and we were driving at 80 mph, 100 degree weather with AC blasting. While you do have to allow extra time for charging, we found in our trip mostly through Utah that it added 2 hours per day to our 8 hours of driving and we used the time for eating lunch and also for walking and taking a break, so the time was not wasted.
lol eating lunch and taking break. You must have ate a lot then...adding 2hrs to a 8hrs trip to fuel a car is unacceptable in this day and age where time is more valuable then money.
@@alvinmc5593 Time is only more valuable than money when you are using that time to make money. On vacation, time isn't all that valuable. Most people will stop for lunch after driving 3-4 hours, unless they have food in the car. Even then they will stop just to take a break, stretch their legs and to go to the bathroom. We did a similar trip in an ICE car and we still stopped for about an hour for lunch. So the Tesla was basically just 1 extra hour.
Exactly, who buys a Tesla mainly for road-trips? Sure it can do road-trips, but until the charging network expands hugely it's just a "can do" rather than a dedicated road trip vehicle. Why would anyone who "does their research" not know that?
The highway range issue is the reason I got rid of my non tesla ev. For so many people it may not be an issue but very much negatively effects the road tripping experience. It either bothers you or it doesn't and I would strongly recommend everyone rent one and roadtrip it before they buy one.
First thing, I commend you for being brave enough to post this video, knowing that the Tesla fanbase would probably tear you to shreds. Being an owner of a model Y myself, I can say I agree with the inconvenience with not having an adjustable headrest. For me at least, it definitely isn't a deal breaker, but for a premium car, adding that in would be nice. Now towards your other points regarding range loss, price/convenience of charging... it sounds to me that your problem is more towards EV cars as a whole than towards the model y. The model Y already has more range than every non-tesla EV, and has a supercharging network that isn't rivalled by anyone. Also, getting a home charger (atleast a NEMA 14-50 if you don't want the Tesla Wall charger) is 100% necessary for any owner. This car is meant to be a daily driver, homecharged every night, then supercharged for your roadtrips. If you are using this car ONLY for roadtrips, and ONLY supercharging, then of course the "gas" savings wouldn't be as significant. You even chose the performance model (which has less range) to be your road trip car lol. These are things you should have known prior to buying the car. For instance, I wouldn't buy a BMW M4, then complain that the exhaust is way too loud or that it doesn't have enough room to fit a family in it. That is not what the car is intended for!
7:46 if the car indicates 223 miles and you only get 100 miles, that means something is very broken inside it. Either one of the motors is broken or the disk brakes are always on. This could be solved with a visit to the Tesla repair service. Covered by the warranty. Teslas are the most efficient EVs. The only criticism I have is that if you do a lot of road trips, you should have gotten the long-range model with the most aerodynamic wheels, not the performance model. The website advertises that the performance model has a smaller range. And don't mind the haters. Nobody should live with a product that doesn't provide what they need.
He is constantly speeding thats why his range deteriorates - thats why he has range anxiety. He should stick to his M4 and shove it. How he managed to get to 224k subscribers IS beyond me. 77k $ close to 100k $. Did you flunk math ?
@@taxsi when he says he only gets 100 miles per charge, he's going much faster than 75. @ 75mph, he's getting 200-250 per charge. I basically agree with him that it's not a great road trip vehicle. I use a Model Y as a commuter vehicle and it's perfect for that.
That’s what I like most. Making a video about a car in which you only say things you could literally find after 10 minutes of research or aren’t even a problem. Sure you will be unhappy with such a Software based car when you don’t even look in the Settings Right.
The headrest is certainly a problem. I test drove model y few days back and could not look over the fixed fuxking headrest. Its not even at the right angle for some reason
You forgot to show your fancy bed!!! I live in the city where the 46 yr old man had that shameful accident. He was traveling way too fast. In that time frame, an elderly couple drove under a tractor trailer owned by a friend of mine and tragically had the same injury and they passed away. Just recently, a couple 68 yrs old in a 2015 model S came flying under a parked Walmart truck and also got bleeped. You have to pay attention!!! Taking a chance is fun but it is a deadly way of having fun. Be a hands on driver. A 22 yr old Model Y owner of a gray 2022 Performance edition traded his in ONLY because of the HEADREST and he bought a Mach E from Chase at Park's Ford in Gainesville, FL. Are you that guy? Did you drive all the way over here from Arizona to trade it in? They are selling it for $77K. Get back to me. Also, there is a guy in Canada that changes a gas Hummer to an electric beast. 750 miles of range. You being a multimillionaire would love that!
Lol... you bought an EV to go on road trips and then complained about it. The headlights can be adjusted and it’s explained in the manual. Are you sure you did your research?
@@Maverick5588 I don't guess. And he is the one actively misrepresenting the truth. And making a lot of click-bait money doing it. If you think his comment was just guess-based approximation and not wilful smack-talking then I guess I underestimate how naive you are.
@@davidsworld5837 his point is that if you vastly exceed the speed limit you can significantly impact range. It is physically possible to drive a Model 3 at speeds that ensure you use 450wH/mile, but it is in no way legal to drive at those speeds, and certainly not for sustained periods sufficiently long as to be relevant over a 10 hour journey.
Yea they in the comments saying you did no research and they not wrong. The headrest sure. But range for road trips is not a Tesla problem it’s an EV problem. Also you were going 75, that is not cruising of course you will lose range, for routing the first thing ppl say is to use abetterrouteplanner for road trips, the headlights can be adjusted through the center console though not recommended unless Tesla tech. Buying the car specifically for road trips and not knowing about range loss, speed, the higher cost of super charging over regular charging, and a better route planner or any of the other apps screams no research. As well as getting a performance model over the long range for more range for road trips
Biggest tell for me that he did zero research was that the easy way to get around the autopilot nag is to just rest your hand on the steering wheel. Find a position that is comfortable and puts just a little pressure on the wheel so the car knows you are there and you are golden.
Tesla fans seem to be on payroll. Not even 10 years in business they think it's better in every term be it bmw, merc or porsche. Having netflix and some smart apps doesn't complete a vehicle. I have driven tesla once I hated it in 3 seconds entirely because of build quality!!! Tesla boys needs to relax . It's a wicked journey ahead.
Beginning of video: "I bought an electric vehicle mainly for roadtrips" -- oh boy, here we go.... Seriously, I barely ever go on road trips, but it's one of the few drawbacks that give me pause. And then buying a $77,000 brand new car and balking at a wall charger?
What draw backs do you mean? Charging on the road? Not a problem with a Tesla. Very large no. of Supercharger stations all over the country. With many more coming on line every month. Look up Tesla dot com/supercharger and check out the global maps showing the SC network, click on any pointer and get related info. The general public is ignorant about what Tesla has in the way of its global charging network. Fyi, Tesla just announced they are building a factory in Shanghai to produce 10,000 Tesla super chargers a year.
Hayden, the 22in rims are killing your range. If you plan to road trip often with the car, plan on swapping them for 18s or 19in. Also the headlights angle can be modified through the center screen, (try to google for this) I don’t remember the exact sub menu. Also charging will get faster as your Y supports V3 supercharging, expect 30-40% faster charging stops. And autopilot should lay off on the steering when notifications, they are adding driver monitoring by using the interior camera. Hit me up with any other questions that you have!
Remember that huge rims affect in city. On highway at a mostly constant speed it isn’t much of a loss. Takes more energy to get them moving. Not keep them moving.
I’m not a big fan of the y ether the model X looks the best out of all of them to me because I just need somewhat of a grill and I prefer to see my seed displayed below the steering wheel and I definitely see the quality and the time spent on the design of the x and I can’t express the dislike enough for the egg yolk steering wheel that type of wheel should only be an option O did I say wheel sorry yolk so if I go EV it will be an X and yes Tesla still is the best EV
Does not cost nearly that much. You can charge on a 110 outlet just like your cell phone. I upgraded my garage to have a 220 outlet for around fifty bucks. Also electricity is way cheaper than gas. It only cost me around $20 a month to recharge both my bolt and volt.
All the Tesla fans in the comments really show me how mean the community is. I mean this guy apparently said it’s not for him because of his own physical issue. Why the heck there are still so many ppl bitching “oooooo i had 70 cars and i never adjusted my headrest” or “u apparently don’t have any issue because otherwise u wont sleep in the car”. Well, I only had 1 car and I adjust headrest once in a while based on how tired I am. What’s wrong with that? And as a travel photographer, I do road trip a lot and I sleep in the car too. I have back issues as well but that’s life and I wish i can get more comfortable is that wrong? Y’all can love the car or the company but do u have to attack someone due to their physical issue or personal preference over his own car? Shame on you all

Yikes, regardless of prices ranges you should have sat in the Tesla seats at the Tesla store if you have specific medical issues with your back/neck. I know electric prices are different in places, but my supercharging prices are 1/4th the price of gas here. An awesome thing about the Model Y is that you can actually adjust the angle of the headlights. Find it under Service in the main menu options.
You can buy a $50 headrest pillow that would probably fix your your 1st issue. The range issue does not sound normal, so I don’t know about that. The headlights can be self adjusted...

Those are some serious concerns. I’m not sure why you kept the car past the 7 days with the headrest situation. This car is not for you. I just ordered a model 3 but don’t have your issues: To old for road trips; Garage and breaker box share a wall; Can charge at home; & Not impacted by position of the headrest (I’m much shorter). Sell that baby and get your ends You spent A LOT for something that does not suit you.

@@davidsworld5837 Plus he needs multiple quotes. I think they were quoting a price for inside wall install, thus labor would be higher. Probably saw his Tesla so they raised it.
Bro, I had a NEMA 14-50 plug installed at my house for 500 bucks which charges at about 40 mph so I charge over night and have a full tank every morning. Next, for someone who uses the word “extensively” enough, and has this many subs, you should research “social media marketing” and use your platform to get Tesla referrals and never pay that “90%” gas ratio.
“This is my first brand new car” ......“ I have a large garage and own a lot of cars” ....so you own a lot of junky car’s? Whole story seems like bull shat, doing it for the views 🤦♂️
What I’m hearing is you saw the Model Y Performance does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and thought sweet, but now you realise that you should have been looking at the range and not the wicked acceleration and bought the Model Y LR that has 315 miles of range instead.
Thank you for sharing your issues. I am waiting for Model Y to be available in Denmark, and want as much info and perspective as possible. My learnings: 1. I will try out the headrest before ordering 2. I will install a home charger - offcourse! 3. US gas prices are 50% of EU prices, so I WILLA save on fuel. 4. I will buy the longest range option.
I can help you with that! model Y owner here. if you're comfortable installing your own home charger... materials are cheap enough. use a 60amp 240v breaker and oversize the copper wire. I spent $500 on the wall charger from tesla... and $170 for the materials from HD, but I only had to run 3' from the breaker. OH! I forgot to mention- I had to buy the breaker from an electrician friend of mine.. .HD was out of them. that was $60.
If you come across a car where the current position is really uncomfortable, you will want to do just that. I admit it happened to me only once - but If that "once" had been with an expensive new car I'd bought to keep for years, the head rest had better been adjustable...
That was my first thought. I barely ever use the headrest. Especially while the cars moving. Maybe if I'm at a stoplight and want to relax a little I'll lean back on the headrest but I'm usually always leaning forward a bit.
I call BS on some of this stuff - you have 223 mile range left and you say I might have 100. That is complete BS. Are you doing a 140 on the highway, do you have the AC on 60 with a fully loaded car? Your #'s are off.
Nope! I got the same results with my bullshit Tesla! It STILL can't compare to a gas car - except maybe in the city... They're just not ready for prime time!
My father has a model Y. The headrest is a bit hard but it's not really a problem for my family. The range is good. EX 460 km on 90% charge in -10c weather, but the range does fall rather quickly. In my fathers short time of ownership the headlights are not really an issue.
When you spend $77k on a vehicle and do not do your research esp if you are going to be traveling as much as you do, that is on you. You made a mistake and looks like you will lose some money on the deal. I bought both of my car based off the round trip of 70 miles per day not cross country driving. Sure it can do that and I beg to differ its a better experience than a car you have to manually drive, but to each their own. The seats cover the majority of people but i understand not everyone so that is part of the test drive it before buy it or find a buddy with one. The nags on autopilot will go away once full self driving is introduced. Lets see which car is worth more after 4 years the M4 or the model Y :)
1. The head ‘restraint’, not head rest. It’s SOLE purpose is to prevent your head being thrown back in the event of a rear collision. 2. Many extensive tests show you’re correct that the range isn’t quite what it says. But if you’re getting 100 miles when it says 223 then that’s purely your driving. 3. Adjust the headlights.
Horrendous depreciation? Teslas have the greatest resale value of any car in history. Model y used cars are selling a year old with 10,000 miles for a couple thousand more than new. Get a grip
@@DeepSnowRider You're delusional! All used cars are still overpriced due to the chip shortage. That's not a Tesla thing. EV's will depreciate MUCH faster than conventional cars due to the battery degradation. Wait until your Tesla is 6 - 7 years old and you need to replace the battery. It will cost you 15-20k.
It is totally amazing how Jim claims to be “fully prepared/informed” on owning a Tesla... not knowing the headrests are fixed. This indicates he never took the opportunity to examin before buying as one should spending so much money It is even more surprising, experiencing a well educated, well spoken Jim, still being so ignorant on the Tesla specifications and not taking the time to learn how energy management really works! I wonder what the TRUE purpose of this so called “experience” is... testing Tesla’s firewall to the power of social media perhaps.... Please consider and prepare better for future expenses, close to a million Tesla owners sends their greetings!
Electric vehicles in general require a change in driving. Knowing how to drive an electric vehicle is something that pops up everywhere when learning about owning a Tesla. You clearly didn't do your homework. Down voting due to issues with electric vehicles in general not specific to Tesla.
If the car is telling you to stay below 60mph to make it to your destination, and you don't listen, of course you're going to end up with 6 miles of range left as you approach the supercharger drenched in sweat. That's on you. The range estimate next to your speed assumes ideal driving conditions around 55mph. The range estimation on the Energy app is pretty spot on, and it will show you how your estimated range along the whole trip.
Fair points. Unfortunate to see how people react when people give thoughts that don't aline with theirs. It's good to hear from people that don't like the vehicle just as much as people who do.
@JPavilion 2 But you still get the pov that someone out there has been in a car with an umbrella and that they find it convenient to have one in the car.
Dude, everything you said is only related to you, and your car. I’ve never heard any complaints about the head rest support , range is VERY close to estimate, at least in my experience, and it cost me $5.25 to change from 0-100% at the $500 home charger that takes 6 hours. Lots of bs.
@@ismaelcarrillo3956 looks comfortable. I wonder if that type of headrest would actually stop whip lash. I've found the 2002 toyota celica has an excellent seat shape
You can adjust the headrest. There is a button on the side of the drivers side seat and you can use it to adjust the headrest. Please don’t do a bad review on a car if your not speaking facts.
Thank you for explaining everything in great detail. These are legitimate complaints. I leased a 2017 Audi A6, that I couldn't find the right comfort position with the headrest. Secondly, for someone like me who has never owned an EV, I would want to know about the discrepancy in the mile range. Like driving from L.A., to Vegas. I'm also not a fan of someone's headlights being too high.
You don’t need to supercharge except on those long road trips. An inexpensive 240V outlet in your home is all you need, and you charge it overnight. Every day you start off with a full charge. And it’s FAR cheaper than supercharging. Nobody has a home supercharger, you don’t need one.
Most honest review. I love Tesla but at the same time I don’t understand why people keep lying about battery thing. Its not cheap to charge and range they show is never close to real driving.
Sounds like EVs just aren't for you. If you do plan on getting an EV at some point, get a 14-50 plug installed - get multiple quotes - you'll need it unless you only occasionally drive it. Anyone buying an EV these days understands your road trips will be longer - probably an extra hour per 5 hours of driving. For me, I only recommend EVs for local/commuter and short road trips. You technically can road trip across the country, but there is no getting around physics - it will take longer than ICE cars. The new headlights on the Tesla cars are pretty nice now. The headrest seems like a fair critique - hopefully they make them adjustable soon.
I have a 2018 and a 2021 vehicle from two different brands. Neither of them have fore/aft adjustment for their headrests. Up and down only. I did own a 2009 vehicle from one of the same manufacturers and it DID have fore/aft adjustment for it's head restraints. Is it possible that NHTSA has mandated that headrests be placed further forward to reduce "Whiplash Injuries"?
I found the exact same thing to be true with my Tesla... I couldn't wait to get rid of it, and when I did, I got punished for being an imbecile who 'bought' one instead of leasing one! With the depreciation, I lost about $60,000!
"I bought this vehicle for road trips.." Then why did you get the Performance trim? Thats like me saying, "I bought this car to get good mileage on the highway, meet my Challenger Hellcat!"

@@fyoukungflu5881 Well I have seen most people complain the same and it’s not really about how easily fixable they are, it’s that when you buy a car that cost as much you don’t want to be pestered with these problems. That’s my point.
@@SaiKrishna-yq1ho Pestered? Headrest was an issue he should have noticed before buying the car. Just SIT IN IT dummy. The headlights are easily resolvable in Service Mode and can be adjusted easily and his range is HIS problem since he apparently is hitting the accelerator pretty hard. Its all subjective even though objectively, the Y is a great vehicle.
I've had the same experience with my Nissan Leaf. Highway range at 75mph is about half what you're supposed to get. If the guess 'o meter says I have a range of 80 miles, at interstate highway speeds (typically 70-80mph in my region), the range is actually about 40 miles. If you keep your highway speed between 55-65mph, the range hit is about 2/3 the rated range (80 miles range = ~55 miles in actuality). Now, driving that slow isn't really an option on the interstate highways in my area, where the speed limit is 70-80mph and everyone's going at least that fast. What I do is just drive on back roads as much as possible. It takes me longer to get there, but I'm going 40-50mph most of the time, allowing me to preserve my range. All EV's are like this from what I've observed. High speed highway cruising just eats up your battery like crazy.
The lack of an adjustable headrest is a valid complaint. I haven't heard of many people saying the seats are uncomfortable but if you have a neck problem or back problem it is theoretically possible that that could be a problem for him specifically. Other people have mentioned the headlights are adjustable seems like a simple Google search would have solved that problem for him. The range at highway speed could be an issue but I'm surprised by the range indicated. it seems low to me makes me wonder if perhaps there's a problem with his particular battery pack. I watch a lot of other Tesla road trippers who put a hell of a lot more miles on their cars than this guy has and very few of them have any problems getting to a supercharger even at higher speeds. So that's a bit bizarre. Not having a charger at your home seems like an obvious issue and something you would know would be a problem and you would find out the cost before buying the car.
Let me save you 15:58 minutes of your life. He doesn't like the headrest, the vehicle range at high speeds and the headlights. You're welcome

@@hovamike just to clear up misunderstandings, home chargers aren't superchargers. Superchargers charge from 160 kW and up.
@@ernestsco I meant wall connector. Edited.

Get back to me. how can you drive at 100 mpg that will give you 100 mile battery range. but that is not right you forgot charge time so speed has to be higher

Fyi, Tesla just announced they are building a factory in Shanghai to produce 10,000 Tesla super chargers a year.
around where do u live? theres tons of superchargers near me, not just tesla, but i am living in a large city 😅
This one comment was better than the entire video
I’m not a big fan of the y ether the model X looks the best out of all of them to me because I just need somewhat of a grill and I prefer to see my seed displayed below the steering wheel and I definitely see the quality and the time spent on the design of the x and I can’t express the dislike enough for the egg yolk steering wheel that type of wheel should only be an option O did I say wheel sorry yolk so if I go EV it will be an X and yes Tesla still is the best EV

Exactly this!
How much do you want for your Tesla?
hi Jordan Matter
he doesnt want it ill take it for free
u prob take his used underwear free too
First World problems
Two best moments in my Tesla owners experience: 1) The day I purchased it 2) The day I sold it - despite the horrendous depreciation hit I took!
This indicates he never took the opportunity to examin before buying as one should spending so much money
It is even more surprising, experiencing a well educated, well spoken Jim, still being so ignorant on the Tesla specifications and not taking the time to learn how energy management really works!
I wonder what the TRUE purpose of this so called “experience” is... testing Tesla’s firewall to the power of social media perhaps....
Please consider and prepare better for future expenses, close to a million Tesla owners sends their greetings!
Specially if he had neck and back issues... One of the first things you look into.
I need to sue someone … anyone to get my wasted time back !!!
Electric vehicles in general require a change in driving. Knowing how to drive an electric vehicle is something that pops up everywhere when learning about owning a Tesla. You clearly didn't do your homework.
Down voting due to issues with electric vehicles in general not specific to Tesla.
“I did my research”
“I don’t charge at home because a supercharger (Clueless) costs $3k to install at home”
You didn’t do any research.
lol. he did no research. If he did he would have saw he could get a wall charger for just 500

1:37 seconds in and im suspicious
*Goes to the comments*: Ahh yeah thats what I expected
If the car is telling you to stay below 60mph to make it to your destination, and you don't listen, of course you're going to end up with 6 miles of range left as you approach the supercharger drenched in sweat. That's on you. The range estimate next to your speed assumes ideal driving conditions around 55mph. The range estimation on the Energy app is pretty spot on, and it will show you how your estimated range along the whole trip.
You can point your headlights down more in the software interface in 2 seconds if that's an issue.
Somewhat close to $100k
Taking some serious liberties there huh?
Wtf
I didn't know 60k is really close to 100k.. I thought of 80k to 95k. Lol he is just an ignorant cry baby...
Whole Story in a Nutshell: Clickbait
Exactly
His point on range problem (or speed limitation) for road trips looks fair.
Glad to see someone tell the truth about the Tesla junk
Fair points. Unfortunate to see how people react when people give thoughts that don't aline with theirs. It's good to hear from people that don't like the vehicle just as much as people who do.
@JPavilion 2 But you still get the pov that someone out there has been in a car with an umbrella and that they find it convenient to have one in the car.
They have never driven a real car😉
Nothing is more wholesome than using a Tesla stock to afford a Tesla.I'm doing the same😊😊
Can't believe there is a Bitcoin and a TSLA comparison
My money is on bitcoin anyday
Why worry about which is better..?
If the goal is to attain financial security then their is a need to for you to diversify your investments
@@robertwilkinson9564 having multiple streams of passive income is what guarantees financial security
Dude, everything you said is only related to you, and your car. I’ve never heard any complaints about the head rest support , range is VERY close to estimate, at least in my experience, and it cost me $5.25 to change from 0-100% at the $500 home charger that takes 6 hours. Lots of bs.
I literally shop for cars based on the angle of the headrest. So this video speaks to me hard.
Can you figuratively shop for cars based on the angle of the headrest?
Lol. You should look into a 1977 Cadillac Eldorado.
@@dmccalldds no, only literally. That's why I literally typed literally
@@ismaelcarrillo3956 looks comfortable. I wonder if that type of headrest would actually stop whip lash. I've found the 2002 toyota celica has an excellent seat shape
Then you don’t need to use the word “literally”. Using it makes you look like you don’t believe in your argument.
This Tesla talk was actually interesting. Never seen a "negative" review on one of their vehicles until now
This to me felt like he was just doing some kind of experiment. I own a Model Y now but I'm not rich enough to be doing things like this on a whim.
You don’t know how to use Google right?
Because everyone is smart enough and does research. He was speeding so consuming more range than rated for.
These comments are absolutely making my day!
Stated it was the first new car that he has bought but also mentioned that he loves to drive and has a large garage full of cars
Didn't you atleast sit in the car before you bought it?
You don’t need to supercharge except on those long road trips. An inexpensive 240V outlet in your home is all you need, and you charge it overnight. Every day you start off with a full charge. And it’s FAR cheaper than supercharging. Nobody has a home supercharger, you don’t need one.
The headrest is fixed to protect against whiplash.
would it not be possible to add on a cusion or pad headrest to get the support he says he needs
230mi to 100mi....?
55% loss??? Something is amiss and we're not being told the whole story.....
This is one of the worst reviews I have ever seen
Of course, because he didn't fulfill YOUR self-fulfilling prophecy regarding shitbox Teslas!
V3 chargers r 20%to 85% 15-18min. Epic
This guy didn’t do his research.
I found the exact same thing to be true with my Tesla... I couldn't wait to get rid of it, and when I did, I got punished for being an imbecile who 'bought' one instead of leasing one! With the depreciation, I lost about $60,000!
"I bought this vehicle for road trips.."
Then why did you get the Performance trim?
Thats like me saying, "I bought this car to get good mileage on the highway, meet my Challenger Hellcat!"
Red-line: the maximum rotational speed at which the components of a motor can rotate/oscillate before shit breaks and the internals rip apart (i.e.: "the red-line on my nissan is 7k rpm... I took the rev-limiter off her and cranked her up to almost 8k before the valves broke and destroyed the motor.") Horsepower: a quantifiable measurement of how badly a motor/engine wants to keep accelerating even after you tell it to stop (i.e. take your foot off the gas). Torque: a shear measure of the power of a motor/engine - not necessarily to go fast or go slow - just to go - regardless of how hard you might be trying to stop it. Power band: the range of rpms between the peak-torque output and the red-line.
I'm hoping that there are some car guys that can verify my terminology here - this is just science
I expected entertaining comments. You all don’t disappoint 🤣😂🤣
He didn't think this out very well......bought the car for the wrong reasons.....smh
what are you're reasons for buying one?
Pathetic exuses....i love my performance 3.

@@SaiKrishna-yq1ho His are subjective....
@@SaiKrishna-yq1ho These are all subjective complaints, particulalry when no one else has complained of them and several are easily resolvable like speed (range issue) and headlights
Toolbag. I own sooo many cars. I can’t be bothered with this. Never touched on speed, or FSD.
