I love the reverse fusion option. Just wish there was a way to filter out my favorites from being included. That's a cool monster but not willing to give up my overkill machine for it
as long as they are super stronk boys then there is, there's a button to favorite it dude so it warn you of doing that, other then that no lol, but you should aim for rank x's
Another scouting tip I noticed. You can test this to make sure. The more of a specific monster you have, the less percentage you get from scouting a wild one. Source: I needed a heap of dark slimes for synthesis (I like slimes, sue me) and I noticed it was getting harder and harder to scout them. I was using the same monsters and everything. So, I decided to synthesize the ones I had and the next time I scouted it went from 5% to 50%! Mind you, I already beat the big hitter. It's worth looking into. Edit: I had about 6 dark slimes which made the 7th dark slime scout reduce to 5%. I used meat and everything, still 5%.
@@fiercedeitymidna5781 You're telling me. Since I keep one monster for a "live dex" I'm always at a deficit. My metal slime rate was atrocious. With my current team, I can't have more than three metal slimes or I have to hope that 1% is good enough.
@@acecometshark2168 I have a habit of stockpiling the metal slime family, to eventually make a Metal King Slime with max stats and the best healing spells.
I have a few questions about the demo transfer: 1. I have a full party of 8, along with a few other monsters in the pasture I wanted to keep on standby for future fusions (Fromage Fray, Bag O Laughs, and various other monsters I got from fusions). Do they register in the main game as collected, or would I have to breed them from scratch again? (For example, I fuse Dragonlord in the demo, is it just Dragonlord himself that carries over, or are ALL the monsters used for Dragonlord's fusion transferred into the main game?) 2. I got a few shinies while fusing random monsters from the plains, are these worth keeping or should I use them to fuse more new species? 3. When is the best time to fuse monsters, and does it matter for the low ranked monsters such as Slime or Teeny Sanguini? 4. Is there such a thing as "lousy RNG" in this game? I'm asking since I've had a hard time getting Lunatik for the Goodybag fusion. (I keep tossing meat at them, but they never want to join me).
10/10 video. Hopefully, I'm looking forward to a fan's hints and tips video? But in all seriousness, I am currently packing my house up to move 14 hours away but have still put in 45 hours into this game. It's made me want to go back and play/finish all of the other games in the series again. The coverage you have out into this game makes me so happy as it's spreading the awareness of it more and more which hopefully translates to more sales amd a sequel.
My go-to gold farm on the side is looking for the metal slime king on the island of C. o. Temper UE. If you port to Ingress Island and walk towards the island there is also a possible spawnpoint for the Bag 'o Tricks on the left side between the island and the wall. But I am post-game and have the 4S Flute, so it's very convenient for me. I love the upper Echelon of Temper bc on one potential spawn point for Metal King Slime it is also possible for a Liquid Metal Slime to spawn and there is another LMS-spawn north of the quarry zoom point from which you can run to the former mentioned spawn with the tooth-like bridges
For dismissing monsters to get seeds, you'll get 3 seeds instead of just 1 if the monster you're dismissing is large (EDIT: Looks like that isn't always true, I tested it on a stone golem and only got one seed. However, I consistently get 3 seeds when using it on the Large monsters in the Large Mole Hole, so maybe there's a level requirement to get 3?). Also, if you have the Mole Hole DLC, Don Mole will give you super seeds for scouting any of the 4 mole monsters in Mole Hole when you exit (you can dismiss them as soon as you get them). The rewards Don Mole gives for each are: - Mischievous Mole (Rank G)- Super Seed of Strength - Calypso King (Rank D) - Super Seed of Wisdom - Maniacal Mole (Rank C) - Super Seed of Resilience - Don Mole (Rank B, need to get from eggs) - Super Seed of Agility You can really abuse this to get a bunch of super seeds before your pool of monsters get too diluted to find the moles reliably.
So ultra crafty [Element] DOES overcome immunity 🤔. You'd whish they actually wrote it in the trait. I still have to check if it overcomes absorption of said element.
It does, though the damage you receive in the end is roughly a quarter or so of the actual damage. Noticed this when fighting the post-game final boss, Fuzzy's absorption of Sizz was not triggering, which makes sense when you see Kasizzle hitting for 400+ across the board, but only about 120 on Fuzzy.
@@TravellerofTime Thanks for that note. Overcoming damage absorption (and still not giving any info that is does so) is a questionable choice but we'll do with it.
Thanks! I haven't tried that search feature. It sounds really useful. Mischievous Mole has a trait that ignores Metal Skin at level 40. Would that be good to get?
If you want monster that can kill metal slime easly you can use overkilling mech. It is a A class And belive me i syntesis it before i go in early game
I've just beaten the Gem Golem and given the stone to Helix Helix and i keep hearing all this talk about doing so many things and im starting to feel like the game is far more complicated than i understand and that i'm doing something wrong. My monsters have been fused a few times but they reach about level 20 and I don't get how often i'm meant to sync them and if thats the case how often I have to regrind their levels back to nearing 20 before I can even continue progressing. I feel like i'm nowhere near as strong as I maybe should be?, Should monsters in the golem area be taking more than 3 turns to kill? I don't get it.
Has anyone told Ed on the discord about the Yokai watch craft trailer video. It not to much but it does hint that something new happening for yokai watch. More info will be out in March of 2024.
@GymLeaderEd nice I'll look forward to it heehee. Do hope everyone get something nice and we're not like "plase Japan can we have more" than Japan is "more! You want more!?"

If this is true, that makes it MUCH harder to stockpile metal slimes which have an insanely low scout rate to begin with...

Great tips. I didn't know you could use more than one meat on an enemy to increase the scouting odds. Will definitely try that.
how could u not even know that? 🤣🤣

seeds r random but lv50+ you get 3 seeds instead of 1 and go to the dlc mole to be faster and get some extra exta seeds with moles
