If you would like, you can add three more super-fast locations onto this Metal Slime Grind (or rather, two super-fast and one slightly slower but still easy) to increase it by about a minute, and add *three* potential Metal Kings to the list. Zoom to Circle Of Indulgence Upper, Toothache Lake. Run behind the hill (not directly behind you but a little to the northwest) toward the big cake roll tunnel (barely a handful of steps). Zoom to Circle Of Indulgence Upper, Dessert Isle. Turn to face the cake roll arch. Run up the slope and around the small island there. (Warning: there can be a lot of enemies in this area; while not dangerous, running into one can of course make your metal king despawn if you're close enough). Zoom to Circle Of Indulgence Upper, Battenburg. Run north along the walkway all the way to the end. Turn left and check the island below you. Three more potential Metal Slime locations which can be added into a fast, easy loop.
actually with a high enough Str not only can you use Mercurial Thrust to kill the Metal King slimes but that attack skill allows its user to always go first even if your normally SLOWER AGL/Speed wise and can't outrun them but that skill IS single target only.
Followed this guide but I'm using a metal king slime instead of liquid metal slime, since its speed caps at 1200. Its talents are Sage, Woosh Ward, and Murdaw. Woosh ward gives +8 agility to creep over that 1200, and castslasher to help with mp. Murdaw contains withering look, which is one of the attacks metal monsters can't dodge. I'm using the king metal slime as a permanent support type for my main team, otherwise Sage can be replaced with anything else.
The liquid metal slime is better when it comes to specifically farming exp since it can always OHKO metal king slimes and out speed them thanks to the kaboom passive they get. Still both u it'd are great. You should make your metal king a gem slime though as it's even better and the best scouting monster in the game to boot
withering look also kills them in one hit every time, no issues there. metal king slime's speed cap is 1200, while liquid metal caps at 1000, so i don't see where the liquid slime would be better, or the reason to use kaboomle over withering look seeing what you've said in the video desc, if 1200 still isn't enough, then a metal king slime with murdaw + woosh ward + agility boost IV ought to be the perfect metal killer. and equip a witch's brooch.1408 agility, instant kills with withering look, and 3/4 mp usage If 1318 agility is enough, then a regular metal slime might be even better, since its total stat caps are higher than metal king, despite a lower agility cap of 1110.
Thank you so much for the in depth explanation on how this all works! I was wracking my brain on why I wasn't running into enough of them, and of course it was because I hadn't completed the game yet 🤣🤣
Not sure if a one-off spawn, but i found a MKS also in the island of Circle of Temper (Upper) nearer to the Dragonspate dungeon. You need winter to get to the little island with a chest. I encounted a MKS there (but it could have been a one time thing)

Noice man, thanks! Subscribed back when OT COTC came out but this content is gold too! Keep it up man love your content and energy!
You could also use a moveset that includes withering look. That move will one shot MSKs
This video was sooo helpful. I watched so many videos on this method but none mentioned that the rate goes way up after beating the postgame lol 😂
Thank you for posting this! Super helpful
Great vid btw too like that you actually show where to go instead of just popping up there

There are a few more spawns but this loop I think is the fastest way to find them
Great video! Thank you
I like to use withering look.
Hey I know it’s off topic but do you know if marqui de lion is locked till after the final boss?
I dont think so I think he is just in eggs but I am not sure
@@purplatypus7405 appreciate it🙏
I was using the 6 spawn points before I even got to end game
How do you get things like agility booster IV? I only seem to find ones like I and II
You just keep leveling the lower one to max then synthesis to upgrade it to the higher tier
I know it sounds self promotey but I Made a video thst should help more than what I can fit into a comment
Look at my page for evolving talents
Why would you want to level up anymore after the post game?
The big exp boost after post game it to help pvp players min max teams and train monsters
Never had a single crash and I've been playing basically non stop, docked and handheld, since release day...
No matter how many loops i make the king metal slime doesn't fking appear...
He will 100% appear eventually but like I mention his spawn rate is greatly decreased until you beat the post game.
@@purplatypus7405 I beat post game, they are everywhere now
Could u make a tutorial on how to make this perfect liquid metal slime
I've done a video showing how to min max stats so thst should be able to be applied to liquid metal slime
@@purplatypus7405 ok i shouldve checked before asking
Weird, I haven't had the game crash on me once
How tf was your prism peacock so small lol like 8:00 in
How dare you. My peacock is safely within the national average.
More than one can spawn.
