Just watched this for the first time. The thing I liked best was his love of playing. You could just see that he was enjoying himself fully. That’s how the trombone should be played.
Loved this guy's tone throughout the whole range of the instrument. He was not a "blatty" or "brackish" player down in the lower register like so many are. RIP, Benny!

He was Bass Trombonist at the Halle Orchestra from 1999 until his passing and at the Ulster Orchestra before that, there are a lot of recordings from both orchestras he played on.
