- "I'm not giving up", says Thai reformist Pita Limjaroenrat after the country's parliament rejected his bid to become prime minister. Pita failed to secure the 375 parliamentary votes needed to become Thailand's 30th premier, despite his reformist party winning the popular vote in the general election.

Thai democracy for Thai people
Thai king knows what’s good for masses. They are better country compared to others in Asia. 😊
Thai king 😊
A lot of Thai like me very happy right now ! Thank you for u concerned but I think it is not u business!
@@fanghi If you think thai people are happy with your government rn, then why does the majority voted for Pita then? They want CHANGE. You should keep your opinion with you because it's nonsense.
Considering the current senators appointed by the pro-military government, I firmly recommend that the coalition party targets a representation of at least 390 members. This strategic maneuver will considerably enhance the prospects of successfully advancing various legislative proposals, including those that the party aims to introduce in the initial 100 days of the new government's tenure. Persisting with the current coalition size may provoke strong opposition from these senators, who will spare no effort to damage the move forward party's reputation. Hence, bolstering representation is of utmost importance in effectively countering their opposition.
Stay strong Pita, you & your party hv given new HOPE for nation
What is nation ? I am Thai and very happy for the government right now! Who r u ? Look at u country, a lot of homeless and drug, go to fix u country!
@@fanghi u hv the right to comment, but don't hv to be sarcastic
What kind of hope? Hope to be Ukraine 2?
@@amyma1076 can you explain how possible to have a war in this country?
@@santichardnavichit5907 I know u Thai ! U don’t have to respond my comments. I am Thai too! This is free speech 🤣
I love Phita
It is a pity 😮😮😮
His party won only 152 seats, and to get a simple majority he needed to get at least 224 more seats to be the PM. Even if he managed to get the extra 224, it will a very fragile one...
No, he actually managed to get 312 seats in total via a coalition. But he has to find 64 more seats because the military dictator appointed 250 senates to vote for prime minister as well
People voted him because he promised that he can get rid of lese majestic law . Now how ? Not even one step .
Expected outcome. He did not try to reach other parties and politic to gain more vote. If he do not gain more support from other parties, the government that he formed could be a short life terms only especially the party that he lead do not have a substantial amount of margin in the parliament..
What are you talking about he has an 8 party coalition
Royal thai army just watch this isue closly to take advance a coup again..pity u. Never give up man👍👍
Pita is forced to give up everything in the kingdom kap.🙏

Absolutely true
Is it just me or he's cute
Good luck 😂
Lol, your puppet lost Yanks!! 😂😂
He too westerner tht y he lose
It's a fantastic thing for Thailand. Thai deserves a much down to earth leader than Pita that care about ordinary people's wellbeing instead of western agendas. Gender equalities, drug freedom, are these pressing issues hurting Thai's wellbeing? No, these are western agendas. Thai people please open your eyes and select someone who's capable and has the public's interest at heart and most importantly a long term vision. As young people ages into another 20 years, they will relealize other much important things, social reforms, economical reforms, infrustrature investment, social stability, social justices, FDI management etc. These are much more important issues for Thailand to investigate!!! Not some western bullshit. Best blessings to Thai people!
I suggest you do some research on pita’s parties policies. They actually focus mostly on the reform of the military to prevent another coup from happening, and of course, they also plan to reform the economy by demonopolising the market, just to name a few
@@SP-ru3rb I have done my fair share of research. Let’s just say we disagree on what’s we respectively think is important for Thai
@@SP-ru3rb Reserch? Nah! We don't need whatsoever reserch. Words from his mouth tell all. His projects are dethrone our king, weakening our armies, divided our people and rubbing them to kill each other. Using our country to fight China. And make way for New World Order. The West will rule the world. That's it! Clear?
Pita now facing lawsuit of attempt to overthrow thai constitutional monarchy at constitutionanl court.
