    I`ve been into crawlers but now I`m hooked on building an SMT up. Thanks for the info

    I like your sway bar setup. Lots of RH design goodness there. I've been running the Vanquish AR60 v2s on my SMT10 for over 2 years now. Pair them with the clamping lock-outs and Chub and knuckle and its bulletproof. VP makes the best stuff bar-none

      Thank You! So far I'm enjoying the Vanquish housing setup. It took awhile for me to jump on them because of the cost, but I'm happy with them.

    Nice! Building mine now. Started with bare chassis. Xr274 axles. Munition wheels and tires. 100a brushless blx 100 arrma combo. Gpm links. King replica shocks. Kyx driveshafts. Sway bars front and rear similar to this.

      Thank you! That's how I started out too actually, just a bare chassis and added everything else

    this video was awesome what drive shafts did you end up using, Im trying to upgrade from my plastic ones. I see you have nice aluminum or hardend ones.

    Great video and all great points both positive and negative! Vanquish axles housing I think are expensive. I've read great things about the $20 axle housing on ebay. Gonna be ordering a pair for both my gen 1 GD and my builders kit.

      Thanks! I read some mixed reviews on the cheap housings so I decided to save up and buy the vanquish stuff. So far I'm happy!

    Good video, direct and to the point. I`m new the MT scene and your rig has a great look, I like how you did your shock and swaybar location. What advantage does the swaybar serve being higher like that ?

    • @FullThrottleRC
      @FullThrottleRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mainly just for scale appearance. A sway bar in general is basically required on these trucks for handling but the location isn't super important unless you are racing, but then you can get into a whole bunch of other things too. I've played around with different sway bar locations and haven't seen a performance advantage in any particular location

    Boom racing makes affordable axle housings I have the ar44s and they are phenomenal

      I've seen their axles before. I just figured if I was going aluminum I was gonna go all out!

    What 4link bars are you using and is that still factory wheelbase?

    • @FullThrottleRC
      @FullThrottleRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In this video I was running the cpe links but I've since switched to Incision links. And yes, still factory wheelbase

  • @khalidalghamdi5750

    The axel and diff you upgraded it, is it shorter than the original?

    • @FullThrottleRC
      @FullThrottleRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have the Incision link kit. I believe its still factory wheelbase.

    Nice review 👍so just buy the chassis separately and then get all the upgrades 👌

    • @FullThrottleRC

      That's definitely what I would do if I were building another one.

    Love the truck. But I already stripped the hex in 3 of the included wheels :(
