Gymnasts have strong legs to be able to do sprints, springs and landings.
Obviously, for these they don’t need to have huge legs, since massive legs would make everything harder.
It’s like a bodybuilder or a powerlifter won’t do flips and different skills with their physique since there aesthetics and absolute strength are the main goals.
Gymnastics is a skill based sport, where to be able to do the skills gymnasts need optimal muscle mass, no more no less.
I’ve already talked about this in one of my previous videos that if you haven’t seen yet, you’ll find it at the end of this one.
Gymnast leg training is about relative strength and skill development which of course come with aestethic benefits as well.
Same as you can build decent back with bodyweight pull-ups only, so can you build strong and propotionals legs, especially with the explosive variations.

I love roll squats. Something is just fun about them, and great for jiu jitsu warmups.
I’m seriously considering gifting myself a membership to your training site, but there are a couple of free weights movements that I hope to keep in my programming, such as deadlifts and back squats; would those fit in? FYI: I don’t train super heavy on either of those lifts, not a power lifter.

Can you please make a video in which order should I train?
I wonder which routine I should do first: strengthening routine or skills (jumping, landing, balancing, elbow lever, etc) routine
Also how many times per week should we train? I guess it'd be different for skill and strength routines, but how does gymnasts do?
Please make a video about this

I've been trying to do those roll ups. I don't have a very good squat even though I've been stretching for years so I need to generate a lot of speed to actually get over my feet. I have to throw my arms back and push on the floor to start the roll and I can barely do it even with that.

Are there any "static hold" exercise for the legs like you showed for the arms. I really want bigger legs as mine are skinny like sticks. I have been working them out religiously for 4 months (4 days a week). From wide squats to deep squats to narrow squats to heavy squats. Every type of squat. I feel like static holds might be the key to growing them
