Jumping has s for your legs, and I’ve also noticed this about the jumping above the pressure plate, it’s likely intentional so if you’re jumping to try and get to a pressure plate it will have already activated so you can leave

Doesn't the jump have i-frames? That would explain contact with legs doing no damage
