Your video was extremely helpful. I upgraded my lenco switch and everything worked fine as you show us in your video. Thank you. I just want to point out I had to wire the orange cable to switch in order for everything to work. thanks for the video.

You had the basic switch and upgraded to this? Everything good?

Got it! Reworked the ground and used the purple wire ( Evinrude) for the 12v source.
    Thanks

Looks like a Parker 2x20… thanks for the video. About to do the exact same job on a 2320 and found this

Those led switches don’t last, going on 3rd replacement. I’m going to the 100 dollar rocker switch. No retract, less to FAIL!

Thanks for the video. Question: Do you have to connect the little orange wire? I didn’t see where you connected it. Thnx

orange wire goes to the ignition switch. When the signal is removed it generates the auto-retract feature.

What if all of your lights are flashing and alternating from left to right?

Thanks for the post. I had the exact same problem with the female connector pulling off the board. The pins on mine did not stay on the board or the connector, but fell to the ground. I picked up as many as I could find, but even those I can not find. So, I wanted to reuse the switch I have which looks just like the new one you installed with the LED display. The video did not show if the new switch had the same connector as the old one or not. If it did, did it come with the the female connector installed? (and hopefully secured better)? I am just hoping someone has already come up with an easy cheap fix to get me back on the water. Thx

The switch comes with the wiring harness.

I know this is an old post, but I do you still have the information on the new switch or is there a link to where you bought it and part number…

    Hey,
I have my switch installed; I am not getting any power at all. I have it connected to the fuse block properly, (pretty basic). The fuse is good, kind of at a loss why it wont work. Thanks in advance.

wired the orange into the 12v on, Evinrude Etec ignition switch. Used the purple/red on-off wire on the switch.

I’m having a problem with the control box clicking. If I get the new switch I can get rid of the control box all together since it’s all in one?
