First half of the full moon? First time I ve ever heard of that. Thanks 👍👍
Ya leading right into it 🔥🔥🔥
@@ChasingPelagics I saw James video and there was a comment on moon phase. I’m going to pay more attention to that. 👍👍
@@user-jc4yv7eg7c every species is different, pay attention to the patterns
Thank you boss for the fishing report.
You have a bad habit of smacking your lips
When is chasing pelagics sponsoring a charter?? I have learned so much from this channel and want to join a trip with you!
Possibly next year, gonna miss a good chunk of the season this year welcoming a daughter into the world.
@@ChasingPelagics sweet and congrats!!!
just gotta poke around!
Like that logo
Thanks for the report tight lines
Thank you so much for the update!
Thanks for the report! Always look forward to seeing them
Been waiting for this report!!! Thanks for all your hard work!
I have a 2021 2300 DV CC.Power panel in back port blocks cleaning drain unless you remove electrical panel cover.Move batterys to console.Make front anchor locker larger.Livewell under helm seats extends too far out back. They never sealed raw wood in floor cutouts.Quit using cheap stainless screws that rust.Console is to large.Parker rod holders are JUNK rod losers.Boat is very solid but Ttop waggles around.I guess they solved these problems buy discontinuing this model . Wish I hadn't sold my Contender 31 live and learn .
They make crooked boats !
Things are going in the right direction. Mother Ocean is dragging her feet. We’ll get there soon🤞🏻. Thanks for the report 🤙🏻
Thanks for the report Jeff! The bite was best on the smaller jigs last week on my trip. 180 to 250 gram
Water still cold. 61.3 San Clemente buoy.
Ya it’s in the wind line
Thanks!
Thanks for the report! Let's go fishing soon!
Worst Place go put batteries, in the bulge ….. what are you guys thinking?
How do you travel with your rods? Keep them in tact, or pack reels separately?
For Cedros you can’t bring a case, there’s just is not room on the plane. They all lay down in the middle row. 3 rods with the usual wraps, then foam pipe insulations around the sections with the guides. The same stuff for water heaters at Home Depot.
Thanks, going mid July. Super stoked.
@@dannycarr8181 you’ll have a great time!
becarefull guys
Water temp, water temp, water temp, fish are exothermic so water temp controls metabolism , thus cold water makes them eat less and less frequent, takes longer to digest.
👍
Thank you for the update this week! I appreciate the time you put into these videos!
good video ty
parker was sold to a investment conglomeration not the same i have a 2016 25 ft walk around you can see they are cutting corners on finish 23 ft is their flagship this is a new model dont buy not the same company
I had the 2120DVSC and loved it.
Thank you! How heavy is heavy for casting jigheads to pair up with the flukes for wsb? 3/4? 1oz?
3/4 to 1oz exactly!
Thank you!
How is the weather this coming monday for the northern channel islands?
Too far out to tell… I don’t trust the models that far out this time of year.
I fish on the East coast (nj) but I was wondering what model u think would be better for bait fishing for tuna usually around 60 pounds the 7ft2 h 25-60 or 7ft2 xh 30-80 I would also use these for occasionally jigging and some light trolling was thinking about pairing with shimano speedmaster
Stick with the heavy 25-60, it’s got plenty of back bone
@@ChasingPelagics thanks man, u think it’s capable of taking down a tuna over 100 pounds if I happen to hook into one? Was thinking about pairing with with a Talica 12
@@wilk7958 it will probly just take you longer, guys do it all the time on the vertical jigging gear.
@ 3:03 Looking at the underneath coaming, I guess that's what you call it, there is a separation on the caulking. I'm sorry Parker guys, but I'm not impressed with the finish work. I personally like Parkers but just looking at the video at 3:03, there is so much wasted space underneath that pilot seat. How bout a storage box under the seat with drawers? Throw a "shock wave" under that seat or a better setup. This is just my two cents, I'm sorry if I offended anyone, but looking at the pictures there is room for improvement in my opinion. A killer tackle drawer behind that seat would be pisser.
Is the cockpit larger than the 2320? I wish Parker had overhead drawings of their boats (they used to have to on the web site but no more)!
Slightly longer, def taller.
Great update!! Looking forward to seeing things catch 🔥 in So-Cal. Looking forward to some of this new content and of course the new ride!! Keep’m bent 🎣 }<\\\*< ~•
More to come!
Wouldn't worry too much about the chlorophyll. Last year bluefin were near shore off Dana point, south of the harbor. It was the dirtiest water. Dark Green to dirty turqoise water and the bluefin were blowing up everywhere.
Bluefin not care too much about it, they will certainly be in it if there is amply bait supply, near shore the yellow is turning to red tide tho, they don’t like that.
Keep it Coming, the Video Editing was AMAZING!
I would Call This Trip, a Lousy Fishing Trip to Piñas Bay..!! Imagine the Quality !
Wasn’t our first time there, and yes just about the worse conditions you could get lol. 😂
You got beautifull sunny days, but lousy conditions for Fishing Black Marlin in Piñas.. Try Again, You have much more to Experience..! and bigger Black Marlin
Great channel and content! I'm a little further north out of Ventura but I appreciate that you touch on my area as well.
What kind of boat did you get? You should make an OTW video about reading conditions as it relates to finding fish. Cheers
That’s the plan, but there is no replacement for time on the water…
Can you expand on wind direction and up/down welling. You state eddy causes down-welling, and that a south wind cause up-welling. These seem in conflict to me. Also offshore winds cause up-welling along the coast? Thanks
Google Coriolis Effect, the position of the NW winds on the outside with a california eddy creates downwelling. If the NW wind has no eddy (little more west direction) then it creates upwelling.
congratulations on getting a new boat! thanks for all the great videos, cheers from norcal
Thank you for the update!
My favorite part is the chlorophyll charts. I’m too cheap to subscribe to them so thanks for sharing.
they are always available for free on our website under the Resources tab
I was surfing oceanside a few weeks ago during a south swell and the water did get extremely warm for 1 day. I think that warm water blob might have actually been accurate.
What kinda project boat did you buy
Cobia 237
What an angry feeesh. Delicious! 🤙
thank you boss for the report. Headed to the Coronado Island on Sunday.
let me know what ya find, the San Diego should be running soon
@@ChasingPelagics Boss I just read there is a small craft advisory from Friday morning to Saturday morning. I'm going to do my homework until Saturday and then make the call. thank you
Thanks for another very informative and helpful report. Good luck with the project boat. Something tells me it'll be fishy!
This is my go too channel for the fishing forecast. My grandpa who taught me about fishing for pelagic type fishing would keep an eye on the things you talk about on this channel. Back in the day when cudas were the thing to catch in SoCal, my grandpa would say when the bite is on you can smell the fish in the salt air in the morning breeze. You are the best man, God bless you!
Jeff. Thanks for the mention. First wsb. Woohoo. Yes yes yes love private boat fix and upgrades. Especially your old Parker videos. Lol
