Hey great video. Not a lot on this. I’m in SD too. Which store did you buy your hoses? Thanks!!
online is much cheaper that west marine
Great boat with the exception of the small dash with limited room for electronics and it definitely needs a pulpit for cosmetic reasons. I've also never been a fan of the raised letters on the side. Regular vinyl decals look alot cleaner.
Every video so far is highly rating these speakers and amps
I realize it was five years ago, but how much of the wire did you leave on the new actuator? I’m assuming you shortened it before splicing it to the old one. I’m asking because if I don’t splice it as you did, I need to remove a fresh water tank and a power steering pump to get to a black box where the connections are attached out of my rear on the inner transom wall. Thanks for your help!
It’s doesn’t really matter where you splice em in, just remove the slack extra wire and try and keep it in a dry location.
Priced out of ever going there 2025 prices
Great video. Definitely learned some new techniques here. I've been using a wooden meat skewer to draw my wax line through then attach to leader and pull it up. What size rod would you recommend from the link you provided?
@@irishred3032 I fish a Diawa Marine Power 80-130 with a swivel roller tip
I'm sorry, I was referring to your hollow rod used to pull the line through @@ChasingPelagics
Dang it, I've heard put the clip 75 yards from the kite and I've heard 75 feet from the kite... 🤔
great video i installed the starter kit and bought the lourance data cable to my yamaha f70 and went the tee bone and ran a cable to my garmin 10 inch, the only thing the engine is showing me is the rpms. do i need the gateway and the multi hub(yamaha said i do) dang that thing is 450 bucks. i think i know what the gateway does but what does the multi hub do. i viewing everything on the garmin unit thank you
You guys bump!
WHAT. I’m not done yet. Lol I have 3 day Polaris supreme on coming Monday. Didn’t cancel yet but I’m sure it will. (My 2nd cancellation due to weather in Oct.). Very berry tough season for pelagic this year.
Damn. I have a private 2 day on Sunday.....
I haven't gone fishing for years but i enjoy your show, great stuff!
Thanks for posting but season is done!
Short and sweet no fluff. Thank you
I guess you're almost done for the year huh? I don't remember you ever doing inshore reports during the off season. Not like they are really needed.
@@TheC-DoryandLaurie usually stop mid November til the first real bite somewhere around March/April
My trip I went on (tanner, left on 12th), out of 20 anglers 5 bluefin touched the boat. We stopped for ROCKFISH
@@bruhman8005 I don’t see the outter banks doing well in November
Sadly was a cold water season for most LA/OC based boaters😢. Much wind, cold water, not much south current. Inshore bass bite was good at times as usual, however no real local stacked sand bass migration spawn bites, no big Barracuda schools showing either. Let’s hope for a better season next year. Bluefin where out there but very fickle and tough for most,
Thank you for he update. No pictures of the yellowtail?
On IG… small one
I gotta admit, i just started really following your channel and I'm in reno but i fish at the chamnel islands when i can get there. I really appreciate ya bruh'
THANK YOU!
Great update report. Many of us private boaters are grateful to you to continue to report of the opportunities and windows to get out there. It does appear to be a better year to be on a larger sport boats to get the pelagic fish.
@@JS-sx3bl ya I agree… tough year for the mosquito fleet. We got the striped marlin and swords on lock tho. Billfish year!
Thank you!
plain, not painted Cedar plugs with the dolphin
My upcoming 3 day BFT trip (this Fri - Mon) was canceled yesterday. I’m gonna be depressed for few days.
@@Fishingwithjameschoi ya not looking good out there
This weekend?? I’m going out tomorrow! Where was it out of and on what boat? I’m doing SD on the Apollo. Probably tanner
@@bruhman8005 it’s gonna blow hard
@@bruhman8005 mine was Cortez sportsfishing this Friday to Monday but cancelled. Nice. Hope you slay some big tuna.
thanks for the update
Tough pelagic fishing right now. Sticking with deep water rockfishing for now. Need our water temp at 70 plus degrees. Come on Pacific Ocean, make it happen. We got 3 weeks left in Oct. (my favorite time to fish in our waters)
do you have a video of how to rig swordfish baits?
@@homeycheese1 yes
I'm going to assume you all use Channel 9 to share fish location info and switch when requested... Correct?
What VHF channels do you usually stay on?
I’m usually scanning, but 68-80 are the reg channels.
Thanks for the report
Yeah, my 1 1/2 day trip out of Seaforth on the 30th of September went to Cherry Bank and actually, in the afternoon the fishing was pretty good!
Thank you for the continued updates even with the crappy weather.
Thanks again 👍
Thank you, my brother, for this distinguished and good work that you are presenting. Thank you very much.❤❤❤❤
You should create an App. Thanks for the report as always
@@dtrn750 was gonna cost 50k plus…. Waiting for AI to come along a little further
Merci beaucoup ❤❤❤❤❤
I don’t even fish I surf a lot though and I still watch these all the time and they help out a lot and appreciate it bruh.
Gonna be a flat week at Gaviotas for me 👎
So I have a trip leaving from Seaforth on Sunday for a day and a half. I assume they will be going to tanner or Cortez? How are the conditions out there for us guys who get seasick?
The banks currently look good for those day. But like I mentioned the weatherman has not been accurate lately when it comes to wind so be prepared.
I saw a lot of marlin Tuesday….about 10 miles off of Avalon from Dana Point. Few swordfish as well.
Almost time for ⚔️
Then they should increase sport fishing BFT limits to 3 or 4 per day.
Come on now.... that would make too much sense! California will just keep expanding MPAs and restricting fishing as they always do.
Another perfect update!
Did you bypass the relay box?
@@seankearns4249 it’s integral to the unit.
Looks like your boat could benefit from the “Ride-Trim Tabs”. Reduce the pound would be good.
@@JS-sx3bl actually doesn’t pound, this boat has a steep entry so it dives down alot when headed down swell. Tabs were up, if they were down I’d be burying the nose. Just need a longer boat 😂
we should have tried the kite
@@BarryVanFossan not for those small ones
Thanks for the report 😊
Thanks for the report, always the highlight of my week even if I don't plan on going out.
A spotter plane? You got AirPanocha’d too. 😂
Hahaha ill use this one.
Thanks for your time!
