I love the fact that everyone has to follow an almost military like cadence when they’re ordering their food but Kramer is just leaning on the counter telling a story and the soup nazi is interested in hearing the ending. Underrated scene
He treats the Soup Nazi like a person and understands that he suffers for his soup. If there were fewer idiot customers kissing in his line and banging on his countertop, he'd be friendlier.
When I first saw this episode, I didn't know what jambalaya was, but assumed it was soup. Boy, was I surprised when I ordered it in a NOLA restaurant, only to be served a bowl of shrimp and rice. Still good, tho. Just not soup.
I did that today in Dublin - no joke!😂 There’s a NOLA restaurant called Krewe. They have ‘Jambalaya’ on the meny, I thought of this scene with Newman immediately😄 It was good! Had a bit of a punch to it, but I don’t mind😁
Can someone explain this to me. I’ve been very baffled for years. Isn’t Jambalaya rice? Why is it getting serve in a soup restaurant? Or can you also make a soup? Been curious forever about this.

I can’t believe Kramer was able to befriend the Soup Nazi while no one else can
Well, he’s Kramer.
Probably goes bowling with him, Bob Sacramanto and Lomez.
May be they shared the same hatred for black people
Actually it's completely in character. Kramer can make friends with basically anyone.
Unless they’re dressed as a clown.
Newman never fails to steal the scene when he comes on. Newman!
"Because the mail never stops!"
Newman knows to avoid too much eye contact.
He doesn't want to mess it up. He REALLY wants that soup.
Newman's cartoonish run
🎶JammmbaLAYAAA🎶
I love the way Newman hands the money over 😂
And looks at the person prepping his order 0:16 excellent actor

You're not a little anything, Newman.
You wouldn’t eat broccoli if it was deep fried and covered in chocolate sauce
I always thought Wayne Knight shouldve gotten an Emmy.
Agreed, but the real crime is that Jason Alexander didn't win one for his work on Seinfeld.
@@lukedaniell agree!!
@@lukedaniell he didn't? Was he nominated at least? Jeez.
Always stole the limelight !
@@lukedaniell But hey! It's not like the other actors won a _Tony_ !
I've been known to say "Jambalaya" and scurry away, à la Newman.
I'd forgotten about how he skitters off. It's adorable.
_Jambalaya_
kudos to whomever said " Newman your line is JAMBALAYA "
Hmmmm, a 7 year old Seinfeld clip random recommendation, I'll take it.
Sniff....JAMBALAYA 😁
Newman knows the rules of the Soup Nazi’s Store so he unlike the rest of the cast gets his soup.
There was a lot of respect there. I respect that.
Jerry and George get theirs.
@@peateargriffin7593 I think George got his taken away from him because he complained about the lack of bread
NOBODY CARES!!!
I love how cordial the SN is with Newman.
I wish my town had a soup place like this! The man is an artist.
J U M B A L A Y A
Hey, the guy in the line laughed at Newman's "Jambalaya"
I noticed the same thing! Lol!
He did lol
So did the older lady. 😂
David didn't cut the scene, but I bet you the extra caught hell
I intentionally searched for this scene.
This is how I behave when I go to Chipotle or Subway.
0:23 is that Ed Helms as an extra?
Newman is total drone and shell of a man lol
So, a postal worker?

That actually sounds really good, now I want some
It also comes in soup form. Well, more like a stew.
@@Danimal1177 What if you crumble some crackers into it ? Would it be a meal ? lol

And there you thought it was a soup so it wouldn't count as a meal.
Hilarious!
Sienfeld had me incorrectly believing that Jambalaya is a soup for 30 years. It’s a rice casserole. Freaking Newman
I've been living in a lie
*(**0:27**)* _Jambalaya!_
Oh the humanity!
0:27 Jamba-LA-YA! (Shuffles home)
The soup nazi would never ban newey he's his best customer
Half his profits are Newman.
i heard the soup nazi real voice & was disappointed lol
That's Dennis Niddry out of Jurrasic Park 😂🤣😆 AAA Aaaa aaaaaah
0:25 The money shot
medium crab bisque :0
I see a short extra actor can't hold his laugh
that guy was barely even trying
Not gonna lie I dont eat soup but now I will
No humanity Newman 😂😂

Food is yummy!!! PWG

Funny show but the acting sometimes it's so predictable
This show was meh. It is not even funny. They had to pay the live audiences to laugh...
Of course it's funny man it's hilarious.
