The year is 20XX. Sooper Fighterz is being played at EVO, every year, as the only main event. Competitive players have ditched Smash Melee for SFZ. Everyone plays at TAS levels of perfection.

Here's another game style you should try out, Dungeon Crawler. Procedurally generated floors with a never ending loop of madness getting money from monsters to buy potions to heal from monster attacks while you get money from monsters and the loop keeps going until you're in a never ending spiral as you proceed lower and lower into the dungeon. I haven't gone mad making a dungeon crawler you have, hahahahaha I need sleep.
You're work is amazing especially since you're working all on your own. Can't wait to see what you do next.

Ok here are some small graphic improvements which would make the game feel better to play:
Use the toon shader it is good, but only on the characters.
Make the background have more muted colours so that the characters stand out
Add effects to the attacks (eg trails on a moving fist or leg)
Add hit effects when a character takes damage from attacks
All this would make the game read way clearer and feel better to play

Here's my lore for this game:
Bean Man is an alien. His stage is the White House, where a UFO is trying to find the bean.
Cactus King is trying to get back to his desert kingdom. He has to cross different streets to get back to his homeland.
The Caped Crusader fights crime in the alleyways of Florida.
And finally Bill. Bill just got fired from Wendy's.
Each character is in a competition to get what they dream of. Bean Man wants to conquer Earth. The Cactus King will be back in his throne. The Caped Crusader will end all crime. And Bill will get his job back. The only way to win, is to fight the other characters.

I would love to see you try to make a Halo firefight game.
You'd have to learn to make respawning waves of enemies and long ranged projectile firing enemies.
Who knows, you could even add a story to it, like Spartan Ops
