Thank you! If there’s one thing I’ll always do it’s make fire games. I saw some other videos of people making fighting games in 24 hours and they seemed to be focusing on the art. I focused on the actual fun because I love fighting games and wanted it to actually be fun. There are also tons of things I added that I don’t mention in the video like a dodge and an initial dash, and other stuff.

This is great work! I'm really impressed with how quickly you got it all up and running! I'm currently working on a robust editor for making one of these games without too much scripting knowledge (think an update to MUGEN/Whatever the smash version of MUGEN is) so this was very funny (because 24 hour versions of this code are inherently funny) and very enlightening! You clearly have a love for the genre and a solid knowledge of conventions! That 16 frame smoosh is buckwild, tho, tbh.
The amount of views you get is criminal. This is top shelf stuff

This is a really good tutorial for someone who would want to get into competitive platform fighters. That probably wasn't your intention, but it's a hugely useful video for it

When I have the game closer to finished I’ll make a full video about it :)
For sure, if some videos blow up again and you gain even more subs, considering also doing longer videos where you marathon through 2000 lines of code or something.
And the shorts can also be compiled for a longer video where you can recap every update made so far and it's progress
If you continue with content like this, I can promise you will become famous. Also, maybe try to make a 3D game, and if it’s “good” enough, it might be a big trend like lethal company or the back rooms.
We’re working on it. But the engine I use doesn’t really support 3d so I’m trying to learn unreal engine for that.

Make a green bullet that follows you, but if you hit it with the shield it turns into a small bug, and if the bug dies ( when a bullet hits it, it will die) it will turn into a big bug and chase you. If it doesn't die, than it will grow up, into a strong bug that will protect you from the lazer.
