Stained Glass Vellum Technique

  • In today’s video, I’ll show you how to do the stained glass vellum technique, which involves embossing vellum paper with powder and coloring on the back. When you flip the vellum over, it will look just like a stained glass image on a frosted window! This is a very versatile technique, but layered over another wet embossed panel like in this sample adds even more depth and takes the design to another level. Please enjoy!

    You can even use versamark & embossing powder to color your brads whatever color you want, to match your project.

    You don't need Versa Mark to stamp the imprint. All that is is a pad filled with vegetable grade glycerin.

    • @MelanieMuenchinger
      @MelanieMuenchinger  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Carol,,thanks for writing, great to know if I'm going to refill it! I think the price is worth the soft pad, though, and the tight case to keep it from drying out. What do you do?

    I'm sorry, I really enjoyed your tutorial & was thinking of becoming a new subscriber, until I Noticed your total lack of response to your viewers comments & questions! Some going back 2 years & they're STILL waiting for a reply! Either you are too busy to check back for comments, or you lack the due diligence required of a a person in your position. You even ask for people to subscribe & comment with any questions!?! Why encourage what will never be answered?
    Very disappointed & not only did you lose a Subscriber, but you're also losing out on word-of-mouth referrals.
    As a viewer, nothing is more frustrating than feeling your questions & comments are being ignored by a poster who is too lazy to follow-up on her responsibilities.

      Charlotte Buckingham I'm sorry you have that impression, I was not receiving updates that I got messages on my past videos, so didn't know I had any to reply to, but I did get a message just now for yours. If you look at my recent videos, you will see I do answer questions here in a timely manner and through my personal email, thank people for commenting and am very engaged with my audience. These are free videos I hope you and others will enjoy and learn from. Thanks for your feedback.
