Barbara, It's a scoring board - there are several brands out there. You can also score card stock by using a dull pencil [not a mechanical one], running along a ruler or T-square on a softer surface than the top of your desk or table. Putting down 10 or so sheets of paper will do the trick. Practice on some scraps first, so you'll know how much pressure you can use & not tear the card stock.
