    ♥️Jennifer this video is particularly wonderful to me. The release is stunning. I lost my beloved pup Dahlya on Tuesday. My home is so empty and quiet without her. My heart is broken. This video gave me such joy, so the length was perfect for me♥️ Thank you for always making wonderful videos. You are helping so many, not just for card inspiration, but to help so,some get through sadness. ♥️♥️♥️

    I love this technique. It's beautiful. I was thinking when you were lining up the sentiment below the round shape, it might be easier to line it up if you temporarily taped a circle to the outside of the stamping platform, matching the placement of the card front. Then you can easily match up the stamp sentiment for the inside. I hope I didn't make this too confusing trying to put it into words.

    Hi @JenniferMcguire I know this is an old video but I'm wondering if you could answer a question. Is there a reason that you did not die cut the acetate pieces. I find cutting with scissors difficult so I thought I would ask before trying and ruining a piece

  • @cindyhenry1410
    @cindyhenry1410 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I love this technique! It would be so fun to do an alcohol ink background and then stamp an image over it. BTW, you video lengths are perfect....if too short I say “aw that went by so fast”....I like to settle in and before I know it the video is done! Thorough enjoyment!! TYFS ❤️🦋💜

    Beautiful cards as always!! You're a wizard when it comes to cards!! 😁😁 Here is a question....could you use laminated sheets as the clear sheet?? It can usually stand up to heat and since it's already laminated, it should be pretty sturdy. What do you think?

  • @jennyschipae7537
    @jennyschipae7537 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have watched the video seven times, and I STILL am having trouble with this. Even though I wiped the acetate with the anti-static powder, the embossing powder still gets all over. And then, when I heat dried it, the acetate warped, even though I used Judikins. I am so frustrated! Why am I having all these problems?

  • @brendacooper7944
    @brendacooper7944 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Could you put clear stamp upside down on cardstock to get the curve desired? Or would it move before you could get lid to pick up?

    • @jennifermcguireink
      @jennifermcguireink  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It will move. One thing you can do is put a piece of clear acetate on top of the yardstick, position the stamp and then pick it up with MISTI door or Acrylic block

    I love this technique! It's so pretty! I finally broke out my never-used package of heat-resistant acetate to try it. But no matter how much anti-static powder I put on the acetate, I'm still getting a lot of embossing powder stuck on the acetate. I tried wiping it off before I applied heat, but I'm just not getting it all. It's hard to tell what is embossing powder and white is anti-static powder! Is there a way to scrape it off once it's been melted? Thanks!
