Hey everyone, thank you all so much for the support on this video! Unfortunately, I made a stupid error and used a copyrighted song right when part 4 of the video starts, so that's why the audio is all muffled and messed up. It should only last about 50 seconds, then it goes back to normal. Sorry about that, I promise it won't happen again. I hope everyone enjoys the video regardless :)

I have a subtle fear, that silksong, after the hype pf hollowknight, will actually become easier and not harder just to fit for the mass and not for the true fans… been that way for many games before… hope it will be good
@@RushWheeler Silksong ought to give us an achievement just for opening the game; it means we made it alive from Hollow Knight to it, which is the hardest challenge Team Cherry has faced us with so far.

I'm guilty of this. When I saw the thumbnail I assumed he was talking about all bindings at once P5. I haven't done it myself, but I've done P5 many times at this point, including with single binding, and I also did P1 and P2 with all bindings at once, so in my mind P5 can't be called a ''hardest challenge'' anymore.
When i hear it i think of the intro music to twin peaks.. it will always remind me of it. For the longest time i thought it was actually the same score. I wonder if the guy who made the summoning salt intro music sampled any part the TPs score to make it..
The fact that you didn't have the Invincible, Fearless, Sensual, Mysterious, Enchanting, Vigorous, Diligent, Overwhelming, Gorgeous, Passionate, Terrifying, Beautiful, Powerful, Grey Prince Zote means your ultimately lost what's the most important in the game.
What? Is there something wrong about the Invincible, Fearless, Sensual, Mysterious, Enchanting, Vigorous, Diligent, Overwhelming, Gorgeous, Passionate, Terrifying, Beautiful, Powerful, Grey Prince Zote
Even though I've never played Hollow Knight the intro really hooked me! Overall very easy to follow even for someone like me I hope this video gets the views it deserves, well done Sevorion!
I did this achievement a couple years ago and remember it being among the hardest things I've beaten in a video game. If I included all the practice on the bosses it probably took me around 20-30 hours to beat this challenge. Recently I've been trying to do all the pantheon of hallownest with the bindings (individually, not all at once. That would be insane) and It kinda brought me back to how I felt when first time playing the pantheon of hallownest. Even though I've beaten absolute radiance on radiant difficulty, which is arguably much harder (took me longer to beat on radiant than all the other bosses combined), the amount of tension in that fight in the pantheon is something else. I actually died 3 times in a row to the final phase of the absolute radiance fight in the pantheon when doing the charm binding, though now I only have the nail binding left, which is probably the easiest one. For me there's always something special about these types of boss rush challenges. I'm really surprised you didn't have a harder time on absolute radiance. I've played that fight for over 30 hours and it's still still the fight I die to by far the most often. (on my binding runs the only boss I've died to is absolute radiance and I've died to her around 10 times.)
I am a fool and did P1 and P2 with full bindings all at once. And have been attempting P3 with negative success. Perhaps it's time to eat my pride, and do one binding at a time
Wish me luck. I’m about to start attempting Pantheon of Hallownest with all bindings enabled. Yes, I’m a masochist, and yes, I will be in unfathomable pain
That first beaten pure vessel inside the patheon fight was the cleanest, most insane hollow Knight gameplay I've ever seen. Just got the game a couple days ago and I definitely want to become this skill because boy this game seems so fun after you've unlocked all the charms and abilities.

I love how Hollow Knight is so frustrating but then equally rewarding. I shared a few shorts about my first Colo3 and Pantheons attempts because I never thought I'd manage either, but as you said, with lots of practice, knowing which charms work best for your playstyle and remaining calm, it gets better and better. I really enjoy your video and I'll be checking the rest of your channel!
Congrats on the win man! After i did p5, i couldnt put the damn game down so i put myself through even more pain with the ‘RadHoG’ where you defeat every boss in the hall of gods on radiant (no hit difficulty) to obtain the level 3 void idol. Next I’m going for the bindings on each pantheon.
GG I loved the documentary, seeing you learn how to optimaly play the game and learn what things work, and Seeing the struggle on the last 3 bosses, what makes them so good. And specially the skill curve, from dieing to Grimm to Obliterating NKG Kind of disappointed you defeated Absrad that easy... But I think I did it even faster so... Idk. Great video brother, you definitely deserve a larger audience i enjoyed this a lot. I’m going on the same journey trying to 100% this game and this video has given me alot of courage. Keep up the good work
Hey, just watched this. Wanted to say that as somebody who loves both hollow knight and summoning salt, this is one of the best videos that I’ve seen in a while. I can see the very clear inspiration in the hard that you put into this video. Well done and imma watch some more!
A lost run is never wasted time, it's a learning experience. You got extra practice dealing with the nerves that come with a challenge like this. This goes for any game, and forcing myself to think like this has really helped me both improve at game and not rage as much. It's a healthier mindset than thinking of losses as wasted time. Congrats on the accomplishment, massive props for being able to do it.
I recently got back into Hollow Knight, and I'd lost all my progress from the Pantheons, but I'm almost there. I beat all bosses (except NGK and pure vessel) radiant, which makes going through the pantheons a breeze. Doing all bosses radiant really gives so much useful practice. Finger crossed I can finish Pure Vessel, so I can MAKE it to Absolute Radiance, and start practicing for my "real" attempts at PoH.
Love watching your videos and amazing work beating pantheon 5! It took me around two weeks my first win. And after literal years of practice I have beaten pantheon 5 with all bindings and I would love to see you complete the same challenge!
Honestly, your journey through the pantheons was very similar to mine. I kind of sucked at hollow knight for most of the game, and it took me quite a while to beat p4, let alone p5.
Loved watching this! Such a blast! Never had the opportunity to watch a video about someone who beat something which is one of the biggest gaming challenges I achieved myself! GG!
Embrace the Void is a good name. From a lore standpoint, you are Embracing the Void inside of you, the vessel. From a gameplay point of view, you are Embracing the Void that is this nearly endless cycle of practicing the bosses and running p5 over and over until, when you are nearly void of even happiness, you beat it.
Congrats for beating P5! I felt that nerves you had when beating P5 only bosses, NKG, PV, and AR, as I was always nerve wrecked when I reach those fights. It took me a month and lots of heartbreaks to beat Pantheon 5. To grind and practice Hall of Gods just to be part of that 0.3% of Steam users to unlock the Embrace The Void achievement was worth it. This was a great video. Made me want to try P5 again and beat it for the third time. Proud of your grindset.
Congrats! P5 will come as a breeze after your first clear. Believe me I have been there. From spending 2 years for embrace the void, I went on to do all radiant and all bindings.
I did a similar thing to this but in Cuphead, where I had to beat all 19 main game bosses and all 6 dlc bosses in one take. It took around 8 tries over 5 hours ( I had 200+ hours in Cuphead before this and beat the game hitless not consecutively) and my heart rate was around 130bpm at the end😅
Thank you for the video, I was getting frustrated for failing to beat the pantheons after a couple of tries/hours, it's good to remember that this is not easy and is supposed to take hundreds of attempts across all pantheons combined. I think we truly underestimate this content now that we have so many hitless runs to compare ourselves to.
it's always content like this that just really make me wanna get better at hk. it's so difficult finishing off a hard boss, so I applaud you for all the hard work you put into the pantheons!
Oh, congratulations! This pantheon took me 4 months of practice, which 2 were spent to practice absolute radiance. Despite this in the pantheon I died on it 4 times at the last stage due to the fact that I was nervous. But abs.rad is my favorite boss in the game, and getting this achievement was fun
Damn, I'm in my grinding arc for my P5, and this video gave me such an inspirational feeling that I really can do it! Congrats, bro, and let's see how long this challenge will take me.
I watched this video many times by now and when I picked up hollow knight for the first time (much later after it's release) I was immediately hooked, but didn't know about godhome. After finishing everything in the rest of the game this video inspired me to go for the "embrace the void" ending too. Actually took it a step further a couple months afterwards, and after many many fails managed to get to the land of storms (secret area that unlocks after beating all bindings on P5). The charms binding was hands down the worst of them all, but it still feels an amazing accomplishment.
The story of you changing your charm loadout was nice to see. I had an "oh no" moment when you first mentioned the build xD Congrats on this accomplishment, truly well earned.
Right now I'm working on two things, A: Radiant Abs Rad , B: P5 with bindings, not all on the same attempt, but get them all on seperate attempts Update: A did Radiance on Radiant, and every othe boss on radiant. Another update: I finished charmless P5, and all the other bindings.
This was a very good watch and the storytelling and music inspiration from Summoning Salt was awesome, great video mate i just beat P5 today myself and i was going absolutely NUTS after beating AbsRad, congrats!
after watching the vid I went down and looked at your sub count I was surprised seeing 11.8 all tho it's not a small number I was expecting you to have 100k. Give this man some love content is fire
This is actually a really difficult thing to do, one of the biggest challenges in the game. Awesome achievement, and never let anyone tell you otherwise!
15:50 AHAHHHAHAH. I've done exactly the same. Gone through knight pantheon like Rambo first try, demolished everything and then faced PV for the first time. Ok I can do that. 10 second later I was dead 😂😂
watching this filled me with joy my man. im on p5 right now and i have been losing so much confidence due to my greatest nemesis... greed... and winged nosk. something about that fight just keeps taking me down. and with uumuu right before it... i know ill eventually take down the pantheon. but like most people have said in the comments... its really a time consumption problem. making so much progress and then having it all be thrown out the window. theres a lot to learn... great video. i did stop watching after you got the absrad because i want the pleasure of seeing that ending to be on my own game. jee jeez.
Oh I've been there. My best advice is to practice the bosses you struggle with a lot. Beat them in ascended, maybe even radient if you have the patience. Best of luck!!
I love that the 5th Pantheon puts you in a spot where you grind out particular boss fights. I remember Ascended Markoth I had beat him for the first time and my girlfriend at the time asked "oh so you're done?" Lol "nope now I need to be able to do it with plenty of health and soul"
This challenge really deserves the title of the hardest thing in Hollow Knight, and is the hardest thing I've done in a metroidvania. When I reached the climb phase when I tried it in P5, I was shaking so much, had to pause the game and calm down for a moment. It worked, and I beat it before the nerves got to me.
Ever since i found this video you have become one of my favorite youtubers and I have to say a huge thank you because this video inspired me to beat Pantheon 5 me self keep up the great content and I am sure you will keep growing.
Little tips for people struggling with the pantheons: Oro and Mato get shredded by Abyss Shriek. Stand between them during their phase transition and dreamnail one to get soul, then let rip. Sheo’s Great Slash is a heal attack and has low damage. Flanking him does not work. Sly will come to you. Don’t go to him. Pure Vessel is not a race. Play as slow as you need. Grimm is a dance. Try to just dodge his attacks until you’re confident. Sisters of Battle won’t let you heal, but there’s a bench after them. Don’t let up. God Tamer’s roll moves just as fast as Shade Soul. You can combo by jumping, turning, and firing with a quickcast. Xero dies to eight abyss shrieks with shaman stone. You can pogo his nails.
Tbh I’ve energy understood the “struggle” everyone hyped up the pantheon to be. I wouldn’t say Im an absolute god at the game but it honestly only took me about 5 try’s and I beat the pantheon of hallownest
Dude you are a champ for grinding so long. I still can’t get past p5 and I’ve been playing since 2020. I recently completed Radiant Pure Vessel and Radiant NKG so I’m hopeful for my completion. Props to you man for your victory
Good job man, I also completed this achievement for the first time just a few weeks ago. It was on my switch. It took many hours but it was so satisfying to get it done
This is a really fun video. I've made it to AbsRad twice but never came close to beating her. Just getting to her is a level of pressure I can't describe lol. Even in the Hall of Gods, I've only beaten her once on normal difficulty.
I got Embrace The Void about 2 months ago, and largely stopped playing afterwards. then I went back after a month and struggled with beating Vengefly King on radiant. I got washed QUICK
Amazing video! I got Hollow Knight about 3 weeks ago and yesterday I finally beat Pantheon of the Knight and unlocked P5! Hopefully I'll go as far as you did soon! It was crazy to see how quickly your skills grew throughout all the pantheons.
I was able to beat pantheon of hallownest a while ago. While i was with radiance i thought i was gonna die but a miracle came. She teleported on top of me and deal a lot of damage and during the climbing my heart was beating fast. I practiced radiance all over and i got it first try in poh. And there i got embrace the void. My feelings after, i was happy and excited. Also, im just 12 i did hollow knight since january? And 2 months i got good bc i was watching tutorials. And there is how i got embrace the void in a young age aka the 2nd hardest achievement(no.1 is steel heart bc its to get 100% in STEEL SOUL) Edit: My first charm build was quick slash, strength, shaman stone, steady body, and nail masters glory, and before pure vessel(bc after pure vessel you cant change charms) i switched shaman stone to mark of pride. I know shaman stone is useful but abyss shriek stills deal a lot of damage.
Sly quickly became my favorite fight in the game when I went back and cleaned up the base pantheons. He feels so overwhelming when you first fight him, but I eventually developed a strategy that basically resulted in me leading him around his arena by the nose and getting hits in where I could. I am fairly sure this is one of the only bosses I've beat on Radiant.
man not having zote there in front (or behind cant rlly remember) markoth rlly makes p5 a lot easier xD Ggs and congratz tho! pale court gauntlet when? ;>
Honestly taking a break is sometimes your most powerful weapon. I was struggling with P5 just like you about 2 years ago, mainly with Markoth and Absrad, I took a break, then I came back to it a few months later and did it in like 2 attempts after practicing Absrad for about 1h Right now im grinding for radiant Hall of Gods, and talking a break has helped me here as well, I have just finished radiant NKG and Pure Vessel and the only ones I have left are Markoth and Absrad ofc

From a gameplay point of view, you are Embracing the Void that is this nearly endless cycle of practicing the bosses and running p5 over and over until, when you are nearly void of even happiness, you beat it.
Not only is the challenge fun but you get that used to be rare achievement and a very cool ending. More stuff like this would be nice.
Awesome video. I FELT that journey. Glad TH-cam suggested it.
Congrats! P5 will come as a breeze after your first clear. Believe me I have been there. From spending 2 years for embrace the void, I went on to do all radiant and all bindings.
Fr the ending where you kill radiance as billy was so cool it made me wanna do it again but 45 mins for maybe playing as billy again is intimidating
Never even played this game and this was super entertaining to watch. What a journey! Well done
As a Hollow Knight player I truly empathise with you, my heart was racing just watching this.
Dude I love this vid. I have seen it so many times keep up the good work
Oh, congratulations!
This pantheon took me 4 months of practice, which 2 were spent to practice absolute radiance. Despite this in the pantheon I died on it 4 times at the last stage due to the fact that I was nervous. But abs.rad is my favorite boss in the game, and getting this achievement was fun
It’s such an amazing feeling to beat Pantheon 5. I finally did it as well and really appreciate you putting your experience on TH-cam!
I had an "oh no" moment when you first mentioned the build xD
Congrats on this accomplishment, truly well earned.
Right now I'm working on two things, A: Radiant Abs Rad , B: P5 with bindings, not all on the same attempt, but get them all on seperate attempts
Update: A did Radiance on Radiant, and every othe boss on radiant.
Another update: I finished charmless P5, and all the other bindings.

*”The first guy had Xero chance of beating me”*
Well I just died
This was a very good watch and the storytelling and music inspiration from Summoning Salt was awesome, great video mate i just beat P5 today myself and i was going absolutely NUTS after beating AbsRad, congrats!
after watching the vid I went down and looked at your sub count I was surprised seeing 11.8 all tho it's not a small number I was expecting you to have 100k. Give this man some love content is fire
Thank you so much!
*"an essential charm like dreamshield"*
A bit late, but thank you. This video gave me the motivation to give the Hollow Knight another attempt, and I finally beat it
I love that the 5th Pantheon puts you in a spot where you grind out particular boss fights.
5:56 might be the best thing I've ever heard in my life thank you for this.
Little tips for people struggling with the pantheons:
Oro and Mato get shredded by Abyss Shriek.
I appreciate the compliments, sir!
Watching you on the last stretch of absrad made me shiver just like when it was my turn to finish P5. Good job, what a joyrney !
Dude you are a champ for grinding so long. I still can’t get past p5 and I’ve been playing since 2020. I recently completed Radiant Pure Vessel and Radiant NKG so I’m hopeful for my completion. Props to you man for your victory
This video is my motivation to beat the pantheon of hallownest, i just got done with the third pantheon, now th real challange starts
Good job man, I also completed this achievement for the first time just a few weeks ago. It was on my switch. It took many hours but it was so satisfying to get it done
This is the video that got me to finally give HK a shot and I’m so glad I did. As an ORI fanatic I’m excited to have something new to play!
That was such a cool video to watch :) congratulations!!
Hollow knight is definitely one of the games of all time
Just realised I missed this and now I’m mad bc my notifications didn’t tell me I posted two months ago damn
It’s awesome to see how much better you get from beginning to end, well done 👍🏻
And there is how i got embrace the void in a young age aka the 2nd hardest achievement(no.1 is steel heart bc its to get 100% in STEEL SOUL)
Edit: My first charm build was quick slash, strength, shaman stone, steady body, and nail masters glory, and before pure vessel(bc after pure vessel you cant change charms) i switched shaman stone to mark of pride. I know shaman stone is useful but abyss shriek stills deal a lot of damage.
Me watching how Sevorion beats NKG in 31 tries while I took 250+ tries: How in the world
I beated him on ascended
Sly quickly became my favorite fight in the game when I went back and cleaned up the base pantheons.
He feels so overwhelming when you first fight him, but I eventually developed a strategy that basically resulted in me leading him around his arena by the nose and getting hits in where I could. I am fairly sure this is one of the only bosses I've beat on Radiant.
28:01 this made me so happy
Just got Embrace the Void a couple of months ago.
So I know that feel bro. It's still very fresh in recent memory.
Underrated video and underrated channel. I am subscribing. Congrats btw on beating The hell scape that is the 5 Pantheons
Such a great video, impressive achievement and well written/edited
Such a good feeling to finally run the gauntlet and beat P5, congrats!
man not having zote there in front (or behind cant rlly remember) markoth rlly makes p5 a lot easier xD
Ggs and congratz tho!
pale court gauntlet when? ;>
“Otherwise I would’ve equipped an essential charm instead”
Proceeds to list some of the worst charms against NKG
No hate though. Great video!
That was the joke 🤣. Thanks, I appreciate it!!
That must feel great. I have the last 5%. It's gonna be a long road but I'll take my time and enjoy the ride. One of the best games I've ever played.
This single ending took me almost a WHOLE MONTH to do and I couldn’t be prouder
Honestly taking a break is sometimes your most powerful weapon. I was struggling with P5 just like you about 2 years ago, mainly with Markoth and Absrad, I took a break, then I came back to it a few months later and did it in like 2 attempts after practicing Absrad for about 1h
Right now im grinding for radiant Hall of Gods, and talking a break has helped me here as well, I have just finished radiant NKG and Pure Vessel and the only ones I have left are Markoth and Absrad ofc
I love the summoning salt music at the end
