My only beef with the challenge is that if you beat an enemy on ascended without taking damage it should automatically give you the Radiant badge for that boss.
guys grey prince zote really isn't that hard. there's a reason he's P3 not P4. ig he's pretty difficult if you don't have max gear, but why the hell are you in godhome if you don't lol
By hitting Failed Champion (or False Knight) 's armor when it's staggered, you reset the stagger timer without doing any damage, allowing you to dream nail/heal an infinite amount per stagger

@@flamingpaxtscnah it really isn’t worth it imo. Even if the extra distance didn’t throw me off sharp shadow doesn’t actually scale with nail upgrade, so it only does like 5 damage (unless I’m misremembering feel free to correct me) so it’s like 1/6 of unbreakable strength’s damage. I never dash through NKG bc if you just dash outside of his range you can always get a free hit or two which is way better than the tiny damage from sharp shadow

I did this about a year ago and holy hell is it difficult, thanks for giving out a bunch of tips for doing this. It’s certainly a rough feat to accomplish. Somehow Dreamshield was the carry charm for AbsRad and I refuse to explain why I chose to use it but it got me the win so I am now Dreamshield’s strongest defender. A Dream Warrior, if you will.
NGL the Grubberfly’s Elegy for radiant Markoth is effin brilliant. Legit never thought of or seen anyone else use or even mention it. In a game 8 years old that is rare. 👏 🎉
I'm surprised more people don't use it, I did every boss radiant and I'm pretty sure I used glubberfly elegy for every boss just cause why wouldn't you if you can't take damage anyways
The real challenge is not making this video: it’s beating markoth, that’s a normal mistake so I’ll let you slide, also cuz I like your content but we don’t talk about that lol
Years ago I struggled my way through Hollow Knight for the first time, losing hard against every boss in the game, couldn’t beat any of the Dream variants of any boss and skipped over Zote and NKG entirely. Took me days to even get the true ending, beating normal Radiance nearly drive me insane. So obviously I never got far in the Godhome content, I couldn’t even beat P3 my first go around. But a few weeks ago I decided I would buckle down, grind it out and finally get platinum and I’ve been making good progress! Beat P3 finally and even did all the bindings on P1 and 2 to get lifeblood going, and in Hall of Gods getting quite a few radiant bosses done. Seeing a video like this makes me encouraged to keep at it, congrats on a monumental feat few have done.
Honestly the only thing this game expects out of you is the patience to keep trying and not rush. Take your time and you'll get there and have a tonne of fun
I just want to tell you, that I have been stuck on my final radiant battle for months now: Radiant Absolute Radiance. After taking a break from HK for a while out of frustration, your video gave me the motivation to give it another shot. And I'm happy to say that I finally got it. And with it, I've finally finished out beating every single boss on radiant. I am currently shaking. Thank you for the strength to finally beat her o7
I love the feeling that comes with falling two or three times and then suddenly feeling your heartbeat and feeling everything else just fade as nothing but the bosses are left in front of you. The slight weight on your chest and the time you simply stop breathing to get past a difficult part is always my favorite part of this game.
Bro. I dabbled in trying the radiance forms and told myself never to bother with them all and especially not Pantheon 5. This has been the case for years actually. But this video has really inspired and encouraged me. I'm gonna go for it! I'm probably never gonna stream it or upload, because that's just not my thing. But I'm gonna get those bragging rights and the full achievement list on my switch just to show my few friends who would care. Thanks man for this
Very well done, You should watch the guy who did all of this with a nerfed nail, no charms, 5 masks and 1 vessel of soul. Very impressive what you accomplished Most of us can only dream of it.
Gotta love the "There we go" at the end of each boss. GG! Props to you for figuring out strategies on your own and not by watching a guide, I feel like that really enhances the experience and makes the win more satisfying in the end.
Awesome video! I’m so impressed with how quick you got everything done. I probably spent like 15 hours on absolute radiance alone. Though I beat it radiant before beating it in P5. The awesome thing about this challenge is that it forces you to think of new strategies for every boss. You have to be really intentional with every action and not tilt. You also just have to believe you can do it to avoid tilting
it was wayward compass all along... the source of your strength in the toughest fights is wayward compass, seriously though this was an awesome video and i enjoyed watching it, keep up the good work
Opinion of difficulty between players has always been so interesting to me in hollow knight. Lost Kin, White Defender, and Mantis Lord were all done somewhere in the range of my first 10-15 radiant fights because they are super easy for me, all 3 being completed in only a couple tries. But I have never been able to radiant NKG, Markoth, or Obbles no matter what I've tried. I always find a way to get hit 1-2 times in their ascended fight. Update - I’ve completed every radiant fight except absolute radiance
Man im so excited to watch this, i was in almost every stream of recording this and they were probably my favourite streams to watch ever. Sevorion the goat 🔥
Watching all the streams live was so fun and seeing the final product is amazing. This is honestly one of my favorite hollow knight videos and I never doubted for a second you could do it.
Honestly your markoth strategy is cracked, I always thought grubberfly would be bad cause the phase two is so much harder without spells but using grubberfly to push back markoth when he gets close to you. I spent around five hours doing him in radiant before beating him and I just realized how much time I wasted. You’re a legend great vid

Mannnn he beat me to it, I’ve been grinding off and on since I saw your P5 video! I just beat P5 last week and did Ascended HoG yesterday, and am currently up to working on Radiant SoB
One tip for failed champion, if you hit his armor it resets the stagger timer, so you can dream nail him one or two times, then pogo his armor, then dream nail him again until you have full soul
These deserves way more likes, congrats mate, this is as hard as it gets, you achieved something incredible, maybe one day i'll try to do it too, until then, you have my respect
Intresting to see which bosses you struggled radianting. When attempting this challenge the ones I found most difficult were Obblobles and Markoth, and you just breezed through them. Try to do P5 all bindings (separately), that is a wholo another ordeal.
Literally the best Hollow Knight creator side by side with the god gamer. Also right after this video, I got my motivation back to finish my all-radiant journey and finally beat abs rad in Radiant! Amazing video 🫡
Failed champ: pogo on the armor (resets the timer that makes the boss continue the fight - but it shouldn't count as damage that gets the boss to continue the fight), use dream nail 1-2x (or heal if not going for hitless), repeat for soul. Then use the nail on its face, use shriek for extra damage (as you did) after the last get some hits when the boss jumps, ... (It worked 2 years ago.)
Congrats! It’s really interesting to watch someone else’s all-radiant-clears journey as someone who has rather recently done so myself! I beat AbsRad on radiant around six or so months ago, and still vaguely remember most of my strategies. Interestingly enough, you used a lot of similar stuff when it came to charms and how you approached the fights, and that might be due to adjacent play styles. I also tend to use a lot of nail action, probably with a good bit more risk than you, but included is also more spell usage. I also tend to use nail arts as a core part of my play. In terms of charms, my core build was strength, quickslash, shamanstone, nailmaster’s, sprintmaster, and spelltwister. All of these, with one exception, were substituted at some point for some bosses. Soul eater was a common substitute for strength on spell-based builds, shamanstone could be benched for mark or pride, spelltwister wasn’t as good as sharp shadow in some scenarios, and even quickslash and nailmaster’s glory were occasionally dropped for alternatives. Yes, the one charm that was essential for me the entire time was *sprintmaster* of all things. My answer for both Sly and Markoth was nailmaster’s glory, seeing as greatslash and dash-slash gave enough room to hit past Markoth’s shields and almost all of Sly’s attacks. I definitely found the challenge to be a perfect mix of difficult and rewarding, having a whole host of miniature victories when you beat troublesome bosses while still having a great overarching difficulty curve in a cohesive and simple to understand challenge. Easily one of my favorite moments to look back on in all of gaming challenges. This was an enjoyable video to watch and a very good documentation of your journey through this! It makes me want to go through the whole process again, but on my steel soul save this time. And again, a round of applause for sticking through it and beating every radiant boss in the game!
Nice, great timing with the vid to have on while I finished my own radiant sheet! Interesting to see what you found easy/ what you struggled with. I definitely had the most trouble with absolute radiance, other harder one's were more of a surprise - oro+mato, watcher knights, lost kin. Others surprised me with how they immediately fell when I thought I might take a while - Markoth, pure Vessel, both grims, sheo, sly, GPZ and no eye's. I think there's probably a lot of swing with when you can either get "lucky" with finishing on the first solid attempt or come close and fail and then get stuck for ages. Most of the theoretical hard fights I'd practiced for P5 so that probably helped a lot for the radiant wins.
I literally did this a few weeks ago, and just did all bindings for weathered mask. Would have been nice to have this before... Congratulations on the achievement!
"Radiant AbsRad is the hardest the game gets without mods" All Bindings PoH in the corner: Nah but for real GG. The dedication needed to pull this off is unreal, I would know. Hope it was as satisfying for you as it was for me.
What happened with pure vessel is the main mechanic that I use whenever I'm fighting it for any reason, you can parry all of his nail attacks and it gives you slight s! The same is quite easy with the upward NGK attack
Radiant Markoth is the reason why I sopped playing Hollow Knight. Right at the end when I beat every boss in radiant (except AbsRad), I went for Markoth. So much in fact that it burned me out pretty badly. But this video kinda inspired me. Maybe I'll try it again next year.
When you mentioned how many times hornet one killed you, it reminded me of the woes of my first playthrough. I got hard walled by broken vessel. It's pretty embarrassing, but it took three days and upwards of fifty attempts to finally beat him. Now I have most bosses beaten on radient, have pantheon's one through four completed with all bindings, and have come close to beating pantheon five many times. It's wild to look back and see how much I struggled with bosses like Broken Vessel and Mawlek.
Markoth into Failed Champ + Zote is the absolute worst. By themselves, I can easily deal with them, but the three of them back to back to back is always a death sentence to my run. After them, my nerves spike immensely, which always leads me to getting stomped by NKG. I've gotten so close so many times, but my nerves always get to me. Eventually, I'll beat P5, and when I do, it'll be euphoric.
For lost kin, I just got grubberfly's elegy and just charged at him, without using any spells. He staggers so quick that he never attacks you. Also make sure to use defenders crest, it completely removes the challenge of the infected baloons
I find boss fights enjoyable because it’s like a coordinated dance- the radiance or any Grimm fight are good examples. The radiance shoots spines, you stand in a certain area to avoid them. That wall of light needs a shadow dash. The first Grimm fight is especially this.
wow perfect timing (edit: of me discovering this video) I'm currently attempting this challenge (also I subscribed :) you're very clearly a skilled Hollow Knight player)
USING GRUBBERFLY IS AN INSANE IDEA AND I LOVE IT I wish I had thought of that! I must have spent hours upon hours and something like a hundred attempts to beat Markoth Markoth my belothed
Speaking as a bad gamer who also did this, I can only give my sincerest congratulations for being able to do this. AbsRad alone took me 570 attempts over 3 days to finally beat so I know the pain. But you did it! And it is one of the best feelings to reach that point.
First started watching sev whilst this series was being recorded, made the cult of sevaniasm, beat p5 thanks to tips and help, got encouraged to post on TH-cam and have got 7K subs, this has been an epic journey all down to this series, thanks sev! PS, I might keep the cult going
Incredible job, it's amazing to see you again in TH-cam, and I am very much impressed with your work, a little sad that you didn't include my donation, but it doesn't matter, keep up the good work
"And the main reason for that is the 46 different bosses" And the platforming. Path to Sheo in Greenpath. White Palace, especially the Path of Pain. Fog Canyon charm notch.
12:30 lost kin is actually pretty easy once you get the strat. The trick is slap on quick slash and steady body, and only leave the ground when you’re taking out the bubbles. If he charges at you just shadow dash through him. Otherwise just keep whacking him and following him around the map. Jumping to attack or pogo is just a good way to die from him jumping into you.
Fellow "44 bosses beaten as radiant" here, just passed to see another human as crazy as me to complete this challenge, nice video and to anyone who wants to try this challenge too just remember that patience is king! Yall can do it if you put enough effort into it!
I find that a good way to deal with the homing orbs that The Radiance summons is to dodge UNDER them, thus forcing their tracking to direct them immediately into the ground.
Hey man! No idea if you remember me, but I remembered you out of nowhere and decided to check in on your channel Huge congratulations to you, it really does feel great to see you doing so well on youtube

ive done everything sevorion has done yet but i cant do p3 all bindings, would make him officially better than me :)
Are you meaning all bindings at once, or just all bindings
@@MaddoxHowell all at once
Also, sharp shadow is the best charm in the game. Unless it's against gruzz mother. Then it's the worst, lmao.
I love his Traitor Lord deaths. The two just did a Cloth death over and over, and it was fun.
USING GRUBBERFLY IS AN INSANE IDEA AND I LOVE IT
I wish I had thought of that! I must have spent hours upon hours and something like a hundred attempts to beat Markoth
Markoth my belothed
Speaking as a bad gamer who also did this, I can only give my sincerest congratulations for being able to do this. AbsRad alone took me 570 attempts over 3 days to finally beat so I know the pain. But you did it! And it is one of the best feelings to reach that point.
If you beat radiant absrad, you’re not a bad gamer, you’re a god gamer
First started watching sev whilst this series was being recorded, made the cult of sevaniasm, beat p5 thanks to tips and help, got encouraged to post on TH-cam and have got 7K subs, this has been an epic journey all down to this series, thanks sev!
PS, I might keep the cult going
And now that you've succeeded that challenge, you have only one left. Every. Pantheon. With ALL. BINDINGS
Incredible job, it's amazing to see you again in TH-cam, and I am very much impressed with your work, a little sad that you didn't include my donation, but it doesn't matter, keep up the good work
Sorry, I couldn't quite fit it in with how the story was flowing. I did and do really appreciate the support though!! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Great job! I’m even in this video, but back when my name was hero of hyrule
"And the main reason for that is the 46 different bosses"
And the platforming.
Path to Sheo in Greenpath.
White Palace, especially the Path of Pain.
Fog Canyon charm notch.
Great video and lots of good tools for my attempts. Using grubberfly elegy on radiant is genius can’t wait to try it
12:30 lost kin is actually pretty easy once you get the strat. The trick is slap on quick slash and steady body, and only leave the ground when you’re taking out the bubbles.
If he charges at you just shadow dash through him. Otherwise just keep whacking him and following him around the map.
Jumping to attack or pogo is just a good way to die from him jumping into you.
Honestly, the fact that Grey Prince Zote is one of the most challenging bosses in the game is pretty funny.
Fellow "44 bosses beaten as radiant" here, just passed to see another human as crazy as me to complete this challenge, nice video and to anyone who wants to try this challenge too just remember that patience is king! Yall can do it if you put enough effort into it!
When you said you were making the longest video you’ve made yet, I just KNEW it would be HoG Radiant lmao. GG!
Lost kin is broken vessel on crack
best ggs of all timeeee! congrats
Good job, also white defender is my favorite boss and was my first radiant lol
I don't have all that much to say, this is just really good content and I wanted to leave a comment to boost this in the algorithm
I find that a good way to deal with the homing orbs that The Radiance summons is to dodge UNDER them, thus forcing their tracking to direct them immediately into the ground.
11:20 I just use the charm that you get from dung defender
43:37 dream shield coming in clutch
The fun part of Lost Kin is that, using nailmasters glory helps obliteratr him because of cyclone slash
Hey man!
No idea if you remember me, but I remembered you out of nowhere and decided to check in on your channel
Huge congratulations to you, it really does feel great to see you doing so well on youtube
i did NKG first try on radiant LOL
bro i was more locked in than you watching that radiance attempt 😭
By hitting failed champion/false knight's armor it resets his stagger time allowing you to heal to full and get full soul 15:32
the sheer determination of this guy is crazy
27:42 Upslash at the spot he'll teleport into. You can get a hit in every time he tries to dive you.
nice vid man, you make such a good story
At 43:29, that was a dream sheild clutch bro
(Its still a bad charm)
Great job, now beat all the pantheons with all bindings
Jk incredibly impressive achievement
I knew this seemed familiar then I saw myself in chat lol
Love this content sm
