Britain is the first foreign country I ever visited. I really loved it, walking around London then travelling further up the country to various parts. I say all this because I've always followed UK politics in the 20-some odd years since then and I swear to Christ its lately like watching someone you love that has become a binge drinker and is about to hit rock bottom. She mentions energy companies needing investment as a rationale for lowering their taxes, yet ignores the easiest way to invest in national energy production is simply to nationalise it. Why should a basic thing like energy be for-profit?
