Not sure how i missed this one. Nice pattern. I use sulky a lot on my hares ears, walts, and been using it on my zebra midges instead of wire . I never seen anyone twist up sulky before but now im gonna give it a go. Great tie!
Thanks for watching! Yeah, it gives it a little more strength. It also helps to counter wrap it with 6x for durability. The trout’s teeth can sometimes cut through the sulky.

It is! Sometimes it helps to counterwrap some 6x or thread to protect it. I'm finding that trout's teeth will often cut into it.

As we say in the competitions keep it stupid simple or kiss for short. If I run a hares ear it’s usually a walts worm
