I bought this for my daughter for Xmas. I paid $899 at my local Costco here in OKC. I also picked her up a MSI 27-inch monitor on sale for $169. She was very happy, and surprised.
I love it when the Toasty Bros and crew take field trips. 😂
would be cool if you went to pawn shops or something for one of these.
@@buildyourcomputerYa that could be a great video. Hit all the local pawn shops and see if there are any deals. I haven’t been to a pawn shop in a very long time.
Great videos guys. I recently picked up from Walmart an MSI Codex R gaming pc with similar specs for $699 on Black Friday and is still at the time of this post still active which I’d say is a great deal.
That’s crazy how much you guys expanded, I remember watching your guys first 24 hour live stream. Came across ur channel again and it’s amazing how much subs you guys gained.
thanks bro
Nice video! Would love if you would show your 1% lows in the msi afterburner overlay, its an interesting stat that helps show how consistent/stable and responsive the game play actually "feels".
I picked this up for 899.99 at Costco earlier this month - I didn't see your review before I bought it - I am only a light gamer, so given the specs/price combination I couldn't resist. Several years ago I bought a more powerful gaming PC for my son from Cyberpower and that machine lasted a long time and performed very well, so I felt comfortable with the brand. I have been using it for a week and am very pleased with the performance! I haven't read great things about the GeForce RTX 4060, but again, being a light gamer and using this computer for other things (Microsoft office, streaming videos, etc) this configuration hit my sweet spot. Thanks for the great video - I just subscribed!
Honestly most of the negatives about current GPUs is more based on price. They all perform well. And if you're a light gamer than this rig is perfect. I bought a really nice prebuild from Cyberpower 4 years ago. Just recently upgraded the GPU from a 2080ti to a 4070ti (the 2080 was fine performance wise, I made the mistake of not checking which make it was when I bought the PC and it's a blower card. Very loud. Very very loud lol).
have u tried playing fortnite on performance mode settings to see how much fps you get??
@@JayBigDadyCy bruh my OEM RTX 3060 from HP is so damn expensive now. I see it on Ebay for over $1,000 most of the time! haha
I bought it from costco to and play on my 4k 75in Sony and am loving it,, am considering upgrading the 4060 to a 4070 super,, this was a solid deal, name brand stuff, I wish they'd put a little more than 600 psu is the only thing
@@lightz6243no there grown no one plays that shit 😂
I wasn't sure about this but now I feel it's reasonable for the price range. Thank you for the solid honest review. ❤
Why am I just now learning you guys are local? Pretty cool. Love your content!
*Thanks For Support My Work. I love working in our Electronic Dept and I have shown people your other video of your Trip too Costco*
The Local Walmart in my area had a Cyber Power PC with Ryzen Processor and a 6700xt for 599 hidden back . Thanks to these videos I look for those little clearance stickers .
And Costco support is awesome. They will act on your behalf with the manufacturer, so it's a great experience.
Love you guys man! So stoked every time you post keep it up 👌💯
Just purchased this PC and happy, with it so far. After finding this review and seeing that the GPU temps were in the 70s, which mine has been even playing at 1080 and you saw no concerns, makes me feel little better about my purchase, especially since this is my first gaming PC.
I was just eyeing this last night at Costco! Thank you for making a video for this one 🙏 I believe my mind is made up.
Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving in the United States. It traditionally marks the start of the Christmas shopping season in the United States. Many stores offer highly promoted sales at discounted prices and often open early, sometimes as early as midnight[2] or even on Thanksgiving. Some stores' sales continue to Monday ("Cyber Monday") or for a week ("Cyber Week").
Black Friday is a day stores reduce prices of goods they’ve previously increased the price of in preparation of Black Friday.
Best deals I’ve gotten are just keeping an eye open, be willing to try to haggle, be willing to walk. That doesn’t mean be a jerk.
@@tohlocthat and also knowing the general price range of what you are looking to buy

I love how every video they just get better and better at gaming😂
There's a brand new costco that opened near me and they had this prebuilt on sale for $899.99 as one of their opening specials.
Yep, I got it for that to and couldn't have saved much at all building it
I have this pc! Since black friday this past year. Works great, 0 issues. I run all newer titles at max settings. 0 issues!
I have the Skytech Nebula which is a pretty identical build for $150 less. It's solid af.
My current system is a custom built from Cyberpower. I only went with that because GPU's were unobtainable for individuals at that time unless you wanted to pay scalper prices. I essentially specified the same parts for it that I'd have gotten had I built it myself. It's been a wonderful system. It looks like they've improved their third party prebuilt systems in a few areas. The power supply isn't utter trash and they aren't using the horrible 120mm AIO making upgrading the cooler easier. The fans appear to still be non-pwm. The case is the same low airflow one they've been using for years. It seems to be a solid PC though.
I have this pc, have you been satisfied?
@@nimrodpaul6875 soo do i? Are you satisfied? I am .. a lot of 4060ti hate but i cant complain. All my games run great
DAM thats nice keep up the good videos we are all loving the videos
Thanks to you guy i brought a budget gaming desktop for my nephew & dad
Best video to date. Really, really, really, really, extremely satisfying peel.
This is honestly a great deal. I don't really have anything bad to say about it. You could probably build it cheaper yourself with a couole better choices, but for a shelf bought, prebuilt.... Pretty solid.
Theoritically you can buy them cheaper but if you buy them individually you probably will end up paying more in shipping
I've spent months trying to build this exact pc cheaper and it's not possible without used market parts.
Was thinking about buying this when it was on sale for 899. I don’t have a dedicated workspace so I was hesitant. Just recently the Lenovo Legion pro 5 with 32 gigs of ram, RTX 4060, 1 TB SSD, and RTX 4060 went on sale at Costco for $1199. All those specs in a laptop for that price was so perfect I had to pick it up. Thing is built like a tank so it’s a little heavy but I don’t mind that at all. So far I’m happy with it and it’s more than capable of anything I need from it.
I bought an HP Omen 40L about two weeks ago from microcenter for $899. Love it so far
Not a bad deal especially considering the Costco warranty is so good
What’s the warranty ?

I'm not gonna lie, I bought a cyberpower PC around Christmas time and I have been extremely happy about it. It performs really well under stress and hasn't given me any hiccups.
This is perfect, I got this PC on Black Friday for 890 at Best Buy have been loving it so far. Came from a 1660 super Ryzen 3 3200G
you got scammed 🤦♂️
I found the best deal at costco for my gaming laptop. Has a 12th gen i9 rtx 3060 16gb ddr5 ram, and a 1tb ssd for 1300. It was currently going for 1800 on other sights
that is a decent deal
3 people almost hit me in the costco parking lot this morning... like chill, the store wasnt even open yet. no need to run me over just so you can get in the store the same time as me
People these days are just crazy. Black Friday isn’t even as great as it used to be 10 years ago.
It really isnt the deals was trash
i was going to buy the 4060 at sam's club but it was out of stock. i asked for the next model up and the cashier said she would adjust the price down from 1700 to 1100 so it matched the price of the one i was going to buy originally. it is the rtx 4070 and it's more than adequate for gaming. i love it so far and it was so easy to set up as well.
3:13 Hold up, McCallister? Staying behind?
I actually bought this from Best Buy a day before Thanksgiving for $900! 2tb storage. Great starter pc.
I bought a Cyberpower PC a year ago from Best Buy, after this experience, I will not buy another Cyberpower prebuild. It would have been cheaper for me to build my own, after all the things I had to replace to make it stable. I had to replace the PSU with something more powerful to stop the random reboots. One of the fan blades cracked, then another, so I replaced them all. Changed out the RAM. Upgraded the liquid cooler. Happy with it now, but just wish I would have built from the start with my first ever gaming PC.
The power draw on the 4060 is nice!
Yes!, very cool temps to, my son heats his room with his 3070 lol
U guys gotta test with no reflex and no boost. Then text with reflex. Boost is totally not necessary as obviously the gpu is the limiter in the titles tested for this build in this video. Just tryna help. Love the videos .
I was gonna build my own till i then realized trying to buy all the parts plus windows would take me even higher so this one worked out perfectly. Got it the day before Christmas
I bought a Cyberpower PC two years ago, and its been a great computer. No problems.
"we're gonna ride that work horse" 😄😄😄
Nothing like the early to mid 1990s looking for a PC. Wow. Just go in, grab a box, and good to go with pretty decent hardware.
My brother got the exact same pc for 899.99 which I think is a steal, I gave it it a look and they actually have brand name parts(didn't look at the psu). If you're looking for a prebuilt, this is it given that you have a warranty for the whole PC and not just individual parts(which some people prefer).
Lots of love from Lexington
if you could pick one best budget pc
what would be the best one?
Picked up Ibuypower gaming desktop. Specs i7 13700F with rtx3060 12 gig, 32gig ram ddr4, 1tb ssd, 600watt psu, with 4 rgb fans, cost was $899.97. at costco recently

apex has a direct x 12 beta that can be enabled with launch options that would improve the performance even more so as well.

Costco employee here. Our return policy is great for PCs. You have a 90 day return policy if you don't like the PC.
I went to Costco and got the I buy power one … I choose the i7 over the gen 5 memory . That seemed to be the only difference between the two was different gen memory and diff cpu
I know this was a while ago but i just bought the same one for 1000 its amazing. 300$ off
I came across this one on costco's website while looking for something that will give me instant performance processing pictures and videos. I don't game, but am guessing this computer will more than work for me; are there any better options for $900 that i should consider?

Please do an update on this one. A lot of people can get into pc gaming for under a grand. This could be huge for the community
Good deal on specs, not so nice aesthetically. I did have a high end CyberPowerPC system, and I always had to RMA parts to keep it running which is inconvenient but at least their customer service was okay and did it without question.
I bought this exact thing in the beginning of January 2024 and in a month switched the 4060 to a 4070 Ti Super, had to remove that front block off thing to make it fit, and changed out the cooler to a Thermaright(?) P.A. to actually cool the CPU. I was hitting high temps with the horrible cooling from that Cool Master cooler and dot of thermal paste that it came with. Oh yea and I added a 750 power unit. But now I play it on my 55" 4k TV at max settings and get generally over 100FPS on games like RDR2 on max settings, and over that on COD, cyberpunk and darktide. I think upgrading the CPU to a 13 or 14 gen i7 would be my next upgrade but for my first gaming PC in over 15 years this thing is fun.
Man what 😭 i run rdr2, god of war, warzone and other games on max settings. Same pc, 0 issues all around .. if anything i would upgrade the fans. I play on a s34j55x ( samsung 34 inch gaming monitor )
@@StashingClips I’m running them at 4K on a 55”

its always scary to me bringing prebuilt pc in car or something especially new in box which gpu installed. i dont even know if they properly screw down the gpu so it wont moving around on the road bending its socket components from the rocky way home
I can’t say for this model
But I just bought a Ibuypower and they had the expansion foam in there and they had a Velcro strap around the gpu with foam under it so it doesn’t move during transport. I did find one of my ram were a little loose but that was an easy fix.

My son is looking for a budget pre built computer to play World of Warcraft, would this be a good computer to run that game and similar games with no issues? Thank for your help.
Since world of Warcraft isn’t demanding. You could get away with the RTX 4060 shown in the video. However If your son plans to play other games like VRCHAT, PUG G, the upcoming GTA 6, or some other demanding game. The RTX 3060 12GB is actually the better buy. Yes it older but surprisingly it beats the RTX 4060 because it has bigger 192 bit memory bus, 12GB VRAM, and better performance at 1440p resolution. Also the card will still be supported 5 years later. 8GB VrAM GpUS are going out the door. 12GB VRAM is minimum. 16GB VRAM would be ideal. However on a budget 12GB VRAM should be fine.
Also if you apply a minor overlock to the card. It actually performs close the RTX 3060TI (or in this case about 20% faster than the RTX 4060)
However if your son olny does gaming AMD tends to have better value. However Nvidia still wins in stability and VR.
I also want to add if your son wants to do VR at some point. It Pairs nicely with the Quest 2.
Also VR uses more VRAM so 12GB VRAM helps
temps must be bad with that case though
