Update: Gbox offers better compatibility with Google Play Store than GSpace. 1. Infinite Painter could be installed, and purchases restored 2. Nebo loads fine, and notes can sync with Google Drive 3. OneNote cannot load cloud notes, but can save notes to cloud
I tried the 11.5s to draw with the pen and it is simply great the texture they achieved, besides that the pen is twice as sensitive as that of apple and samsung, Huawei really offers a good experience for cartoonists and graphic artists. They took out a new tablet so soon that now I feel I need this one.
I like how Huawei takes a slightly different approach to their tablets, I tried it once and it was really fun. The only problem is maybe not being used to Harmony OS
@@n1ngnuoanything, if you look from the point of view of apple fanatic is a rip-offs. Apple doesn't invent anything in the past seven years either way
Thank you for your objective review. Do you plan to review Huawei Matepad Pro with 12.2" tandem oled display? It will be nice to compare two tablets side by side.
I really wondering about the Super Device feature, in your old review (2 years ago I believe), the latency of using matepad as a drawing tablet through Super Device is not good at that time. So with the newer device and OS; for example pairing Matepad 12 x with Matebook 14 (Core Ultra 7 2024), is the latency problem fixed? Because if it is fixed and really good and even acceptable for drawing (I'm a 2d animator) then I think I would invest on these hardware. Thank you so much in advance.
How the writing feeling on this tablet compare with Boox note 4c or Ipad air 6 2M? Which table is the best paper like when writing do you recommend? Thank you very much for your details review.
Boox Note Air4 C probably has more paper-like writing because the pen tip is textured and display is textured. Followed by MatePad 12X. iPad with glossy displays will not have paper texture unless you use matte screen protector.
Hello Sir, I hope everything going well with you. I am an architect who uses Adobe and Autodesk 3D Max programs. I trust your expertise and would appreciate your advice on purchasing a tablet. I need a device that is suitable for lectures and drawing, as I study and work in the field of architecture. Currently, I use Windows and own a Huion tablet, but I am looking for something lighter to carry since my laptop is quite heavy due to its high specifications. Ideally, I need a tablet with a long battery life that is specifically designed for drawing. What would you recommend? Thank you!
Ultimately it will depend on the apps you need to use. If you want to use Adobe desktop apps, you can go with Microsoft Surface Pro. The new models that use ARM chips have amazing battery life. But it's new ARM architecture so not all apps can be installed, so do some research first. If you don't have to use Adobe apps, and it's just for sketching, you can go with iPad or Android tablets. I probably recommend Samsung tablets because it's difficult to go wrong with Samsung OS.
@@teohontech7141 Thank you so much for your help and advice. I truly appreciate it. Please continue making those amazing videos; you are the best! Thank you for the video you created for the ProArt monitor; it was so useful. I will buy it. Before I bout the Huion, You had advised me that that was so amazing.
Would appreciate a demonstration how creative cloud apps like photoshop, illustrator, inDesign, procreate work on this tablet. Its industry standard in the west and it would be helpful to make informed decision. Thanks 🙏🌹
Procreate is iPad (and if you include pocket, iPhone) only. The Adobe apps are desktop only with limited versions on iPad. If you need those specific apps get a windows tablet or iPad. Anything that runs specifically Android apps isn’t for that.
Adobe apps and Procreate do not work on Android. The only Adobe app that works on Android is Lightroom for photo editing and it's not the same desktop version. If you have to use Adobe apps, you go with iPads or Mac. If you have to use Procreate, go with iPad

GSpace is outdated and replaced by MicroG
I know your favorite drawing app is Concepts but have you ever tested Infinite Design?
What about microG???
I thought it's a better solution since google would be integrated in the system!!!
Is it a Papermatte display stock?
@@hmf33 I believe so. Just make sure the product description mentions "PaperMatte"

Looks like an iPad rip-off, including the OS. Disgusting.

how about goPaint?
GoPaint works really well. Has many features also. And it's free. And does not come with ads which is incredibly surprising.

Drawing matter, can this tablet compete with ipad?
It can, the pen is better compare to apple pencil... gopaint is great, but need improvent to compete with procreate...
@meteuteu thanks for letting me know, I main CSP rather than procreate so I think that's fine. I'll consider this tablet.
