Man, the timing couldn’t be worse for this company’s recent release of their eink tablet. With the big release of the SuperNote ax5 happening today and selling for less money with more features, I may have to hold off for a few weeks to sort these two devices out. Maybe you can review the ax5 Supernote next?
The lack of a landscape mode is a head scratcher and deal killer for me since I would like to draw on it in that format. I think the lack of an Micro SD card slot is a big miss too but I can remedy that though that usb port and a USB card reader accessory. I did reach out to them to ask them if the ability for landscape mode could be integrated into a simple software update. I think it would be simple for them to do it.......but will await their response. Fingers crossed. Teoh, can you tell me if drawing in the "Paper" mode or even the notetaking mode allows you to save the files in different file formats (It should but I'm not even sure if you touched on that) and if so,..what formats are available??? Can you save your file as a .png? Can you check to see? If not,...that too would be a deal killer. That should also be able to be added in a software update I would guess.
@ I heard back from them this am. They said that the landscape feature is currently in development but they could not give an exact time table at this early stage. This could be just the standard reply they give everyone BUT they at least DID respond AND within 24 hours. You have to respect that. I think they were being honest about it too though. The more I think about it Teoh, and based on my use case for it as only a sketchbook on the go - I think I may grab one. I mean if you treat it like a sheet of 8x10 paper, then the auto landscape isn’t a huge deal because technically all I need to do is just turn the device around to that position and draw. I would do the same with a piece of paper anyway. I’m not worried about the toolbars not repositioning because quite frankly I’m only using the pen while sketching. I think this is a really neat tool for sketching without dealing with so much bloat in the way. I didn’t see in your review if there was a “blank” sheet template in the paper choices but I did see a “Whiteboard” option so that may be all I need.

I've only heard of the Supernote tablet now. Looks good indeed. I can only review that if the company contacts me.
I'm sure this device is standing on the shoulders of giants. Remarkable did the hard work and did it properly.

You can save your notes as PNG, TXT or PDF.
For file transfer there is email, bluetooth and viwoods cloud (files deleted after 12 hr).

Currently they have monthly update software, so landscape mode and split screen may be in the next update.

Xp pen 22 plus
My table is small so I go with 16. I also prefer the 16:10 aspect ratio.

@@Waytm-h2z There is very visible difference. 2560 x 1440 vs 1920 x 1080. That's 77% more resolution.
