Gen 2 FZ1 Catalytic Converter removal (de-cat)

Before and after comparison of removing the catalytic converter on my 2012 Yamaha FZ1 with a Two Bros Racing slip on. It's a very simple process of drilling and punching out the cat in the header. The bike wasn't much louder if at all. However I did notice the exhaust sounded clearer without the cat. I can't tell whether it's faster but I feel like it runs smoother and has less engine braking. This could just be a placebo effect. If you are on the fence whether to keep or remove the cat, I would do. The bike definitely sounds better. *I know my bike idles weird. It has always done that during a hot start since it had the stock muffler.*
