    I have these on my SG standard and they do work great. I got mine when I started working on slow speed (motor officer)
    style riding. I also keep mine at 1 but the bike won't start in gear at that setting. All and all I dig them. Thanks Hegshot for the

    If you hate the hydraulic clutch on the new HD touring bikes I recommend you ride more. I HATED it at first, but my hand definitely got stronger and now I can ride in nyc traffic no prob. Eventually you’ll just get used to it.

    Just got mine and put it on my 2014 Street Glide. Looks and feels great but there is a few things you may want to know.
    1. The bike will not start while in gear on a setting below 4 unless in neutral. But will start in gear on settings 4 and above.
    2. On setting 1, the bike very slightly moves even when clutch is completely pulled in. I like setting 1 for zero play from the grip to the friction zone but its a bit weird feeling the bike move slightly. It doesn’t pull forward even when I give it gas fully pulled but I do feel is moving even in idle, again it is a very light forward pull but it does pull.

    • @willyafg
      @willyafg 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If your bike is moving forward with the clutch pulled all the way in, youll probably wreck your bike over time because youre technically changing gears without disengaging the clutch completely. Aside from that issue, the product sounds great

    This was the first purchase I made for my 2020 street glide special, worth every penny, I was not sure about doing the bending option that other companies offer because I was not sure where i would like the adjustment, also these are narrower (top to bottom) levers so they are easier to get my medium sized (glove) hands around, especially for low speed friction zone manipulations. I use mine in position 2, I started at 3, I might start going down to 1, it took a bit to get used to. The brake I am not 100% sure on how I feel about it being so close.

    I ordered mine today. I chose the Oberon Clutch Lever over the Soft Brake. I think the Soft Brake product would defiantly be an upgrade for the Crappy Hydraulic clutch on my 2017 Trike. Despite the 3x the price of the Oberon, I decided on just going with more adjustment positions. I have had Thumb surgery last year and that stock lever is really killing me. I hope they ship this out today. I’m very optimistic on a big improvement and the riding season here is running short. Please get it out my way ASAP.
    I’ll report the results after use./ thanks.....

    After watching your video I order the Oberon adjustable clutch lever. After a quick install I set out for a day of riding. When I stopped to refuel I was unable to start the bike with it in gear and the clutch lever pulled in.
    ( it was on setting 2). After thinking it may have something to do with the lever I put the bike in neutral and it started. I turned bike off and played with the lever adjustments. I found the bike will not start in gear with the lever pulled in on positions 1and 2. From positions 3 on the bike will start in gear with the lever pulled in. A bit disappointing since position 2 felt like the friction zone was spot on.

    Purchased the clutch level for my 2020 CVO Street Glide. Here’s my take on functionality. PROS: It’s much easier than the stock level to compress. It’s also adjustable. You are able to adjust the level close to the grip allowing the clutch to engage sooner. Cons: Does not work on setting 1. Unable to move the shifter in gear. Motorcycle revs at higher RPM’s in all gears and settings. Clutch does not fully engage in all settings. When accelerating the motorcycle does not have full power and the RPM’s increase. Not sure what the issue is. I know I have several safety features on this motorcycle. I went back to the stock level.
