It nots. The game will have areas you can move around in but if you beyond a certain point then you will go back to the map. The first trailer shows this but it wasnt obvious. Definitely not open world but we still dont know for sure if its turn based... im 90% certain it is tho

Will have to see how they handle it but been kind of soured on anime IP games lately. Prefer original stories like FGO, Arknights, Princess Connect (season 2 is fire btw) and Alchemy Stars. The upcoming Alice Fiction seems promising however hope I can get into the beta which should be next week.
