That copper plated flame look at the end with the factory paint also looked pretty awesome!

You should try painting a car with spectaflame over the copper plating. It would definitely have an interesting result!

Yep you are the master at this craft. I liked the copper car the most. All four turned out really well. The laser will give you endless possibilities and I look forward to your work. Thanks again for saving these cars.

Neat flame effect at the end. I wonder if painting sprectraflame over it would hide the different metal more, or if it would still be a strong contrast.

Okay, this was just plain cool to see. I like the bonus content showing the result of copper plate with paint resist. Intriguing! As for faves, I think I like the copper, the blue nickel and the zinc in reverse order. The zinc just has this kind of soft, lustrous appearance that I like. It's more luminous than reflective. Very neat to see the whole process and explanation of materials. Many thanks! Great stuff.

I actually noticed the flames on that corvette at around 5:38
Very interesting process BTW, I wonder how the spectraflame would look over copper.
What about some copper ghost flames under a spectraflame paint job?!

I feel like I'd prefer the zinc to the nickel and chrome on a bare metal car because you can get that mirror shine once you polish zinc up, whereas the nickel/chrome doesn't get that nice finish because they are harder to polish.
On a related note, watching your new videos is the highlight of my saturday nights.

The copper flame/yellow body combo was fantastic! You should do some other customs the same way: "chrome" flames with a dark blue body would work, I think.

Another awesome video with a bunch of great info. I like nickel plating the best, but not for a whole car. I think it would work great as a accent. The "chrome" turned out really nice too, I'd really love to see what it would look like with a nice spectra flame finish over the top it. I bet it would really pop out at you.
I also loved the additional footage at the end. That laser etching is super cool, you could do a ton of cool patterns.

Cody from Cody's lab did it. It reqires about $300 in gold for the anode and about $100 of gold for the solution. Then the desolving agents are another few hundred dollars. You can see him do it here --> th-cam.com/video/_PmJGOcBZQI/w-d-xo.html

Do you have any techniques, tips, tricks or advice for painting die cast cars with spray paint? I'm capable of the tear down, paint removal and polishing processes but I don't have a paint setup. I've got a steady hand and above average spray paint skills but I was just wondering if you have ever had luck painting a car with spray paint?
