    I visited the Czech Republic few months ago and I honestly expected people to be little racist and not open minded as I'm north African and Muslim but the reality was exactly the opposite, very friendly people and younger people are very enthusiastic about differences. Great experience 🖤

    • @kittsu9500

      Yeah lot"s of mostly older people here are racist. It's maybe because we are post-communist country and we didn't had so much turists here. Yeah Czech republic is atheist country so lot's of people hate almost all religions. It isn't only for muslims. And people here are affraid of muslim immigration because we saw how Germany ended after they opened their hands to miggrants.
      But most of young people here are more open and they don't care if you are muslim, black etc.

    The insulation of many a Czech home or apartment building that makes them so cozy in winter, works in summer too. You just need to be wary of when to leave windows open and when to keep them shut.
    If you keep them open wide so long as it’s cooler outside than inside - mostly through the night and early morning - but keep them shut in the heat of midday, it’s possible to maintain tolerable temperature inside without air conditioning.
    (I find 26 °C tolerable when it’s thirties outside.)

    • @ArepasforDinner
      @ArepasforDinner  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Marek yes! My family in law does that too... But I do find anything above 21 is too warm for us (A/C users) specially since I do have home office and I do cook a lot too! :) Thanks so much for watching!!

      @@marekj1100 Yeah, typical Czech is heating to 24°C or something like that. :-D 21°C is nice temperature when you are doing something, but for just sitting it's too low, if you don't want to wear warm cloth in your home.

    • @Anastazka00
      @Anastazka00 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It's funny cuz I noticed that ppl from "hot" countries tend to do exectlly that!! Anytime I went to air conditioned place somewhere in a tropical/suptropical country, I was freezing! My boyfriend Is from Bahrain and on our stay in Thailand we were fighting over settings of AC - it's like he "absorbed" all the warm from his climat and Is radiating it in cold xD I thouth he Will be more sensitive on cold then me, but He loves the autum temperature of 14-20 degrees... I was complaining it's too cold And He was enjoying in shorts -_-
      It's Really weird, I Guess since warm Is seen as bad and annoying thing in BH And tropical countries, he always enjoy cold, while CZ ar opposide. I know CZ who ar heating their homes close to 30 degrees in Winter (can be also connected to "pants culture" of cz man though 😂).

    • @ViktorsJournal
      @ViktorsJournal 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah the winters can get cold, there's always a short time when a cold wind comes from Syberia so it can get down to -25°C but that doesn't last long (a few days, at best 2 weeks) usually. The winters the Arepas is talking about are more recent well to be frank it gets cold to -10°C through -5°C even during day but overall winters are mild now, it's that part of the cycle in a few years the winters will be colder again and I'm sure Arepas will get a cozy coat too ;-). The same for summers. I don't remember the period if it's like 10 year long or 20 year. Not sure about how long but weather patterns cycle.

    Actually beer garden is supposed to be an outside part of restaurant, and is only very rarely standing apart.
    Regarding the summertime activities, when not counting barbequeing sausages (wich is a thing) Czech Republic is landlocked, but there are MANY watter-bodies, like some of the major European rivers, lakes, damms (Vltavian cascade is possible to ride on ship from Prague up to Lipno damm), and ponds (Třeboň region is famous for its watter-bodies and fishes). So, technicaly, "no sea" is true, but czech people tend to LOVE watter activities even more because of it.
    Regarding tap watter - the temperature is simply because of how the pipes are build into streets and buildings, and how isolated. The watter is SAFE, but generaly it does not hurt to DO some basic filtering, because Prague pipes are quite old and sometimes pipes deliver a bit of SAND from the faucet. I do prefer either filtering jug, or filter fashioned inside the faucet. I mean - the water is fine, but it does not hurt to go for the safe side... BTW, not sure how others, but I would love similar video about a country/city in Venezuela, where your famili lives - so if you plan to go there for a reunion sometimes, here is a sugestion for topic... :D
