"To je všechno" is a good phrase to express you don't want anything else, I agree. When the lady is putting the "salad" inside one of the small plastic boxes, you can say "dobrý" and/or "stačí" when it's enough :D Like someone else already commented "to je fajn" is used when judging quality rather than quantity. But overall a nice video, keep it up :))

There is pun in müesli. Müesli and Mysli reads the same, but mysli mean also thinks/mind on someting.
In Advert they say someting like Müesly on health.

With some goodwill the pun would work in some other Slavic lingos, too.
      Polish: Myśli o zdrowie.
      Ser.-Cro.: Misli o zdravlju.
Bul.: Mисли за здравето. (Misli za zdraveto.)

    • @kmartyCZ

Actually it is "müsli". The "ue" is often used instead of "ü" (as well as "ä" -> "ae", "ö" -> "oe") especially if your target is place where they don't know what the umlaut is. In short it is allowed substitution.
Rest is correct, "ü" is read as "deep i/y", hence the pun with "Mysli".
*) No idea if there exists a word where "ü" is followed by "e". So "never" as I know :-)
EDIT: Oh, sorry. You're actually right. In Switzerland they write it as "müesli" ("myesli" in Czech pronunciation). So there is a word with "üe" combination, exactly _this_ word :-). Just with different pronunciation than "standard" müsli.

Some (mostly homeless) people here sometimes approach u and "help u with the cart" so they take it from u and put it back to the stand and have the 10 corwns from that (ofc if its not the plastic thing ). And honestly ... i think its better then to just beg, its atleast some kind of "usefull job" so the parking lot isnt full of abandoned karts cuse some people dont put it back to the stands . About flour
There is 3 main types of flour, which are different in how smooth they weare Ground
    1) hladká (smooth)
    2) polohrubá (Semi-coarse)
    3) hrubá (coarse)
Every type significally affects texture of your food.
There are so many types of flour also (especially that brand in video) becouse they are made of different things (Wheat, Rye, Spellt - špalda) and making special flours for special types of dought + some are whole grain flours.
Anyway. If you are confused, the babiččina volba brand have chart on the back of package whith flour, that helps you choose correctly.

To the Asian groceries - there is the biggest Vietnam community in Czech Republic in whole Europe - they have been imported to us during the USSR occupation as guest workers, but they have stayed after the revolution. And we, the Czechs, appreciate them a lot, as they're known for their hard work and high respect to our law.
And the second thing, about the guy who was talking to you, it seems it was a homeless and he was just asking you for some money, or for the money from your shopping cart (10 CZK, unless you have the chip).. I understand, that it might seem to be dangerous or rude, but Czech Republic is the 6th safest country all over the world, without joking.. So please, do not be afraid of them, as usually they're quite nice and respectful people, not like the typical homeless in other countries..

Employee working hours are insane, but if the employees accept it freely, as they do, then why not..
And the weed - I think you know, that the majority of the Czech citizens is for legalization (besides the medical usage, which is legal for few years already), therefore it will not be that huge concern after that..

@Viktor Novomestsky While I agree with your assessment of public safety in Czechia, I have to disagree with your advice. Every single law enforcement officer that I have ever spoken to (including two retired FBI agents) has said to me to ALWAYS listen to your gut (intuition), and to NEVER allow social pressures (politeness, courtesy, etc.) to inhibit you from leaving a (potentially dangerous) situation. If there are alarm bells going off in your head, then there is likely a reason to be alarmed! We pick up on so much subconsciously. Don’t let LEARNED behavior override your NATURAL fight or flight response. This is especially true for women, who are often victims of violent crime.

Wedel, they've been on the Polish market since 1976. They were initially introduced, however, in the UK, by McVitie and Price, way back in 1927. 😎

exactly. If you are regular, you notice those, they watch if noone is stealing, helping the clerks if needed, and dealing with prolematic customers. It is not common to scam people, not speaking about prices sometimes :D, but pretending to be store security guard is not happening. There is always one guard at the entrance. Every time. So if you meet one, he is realy guard. If you meet two, then one is fake if the real guard didint recognize him. Bigger stores could have more guards. Every entrance have its own stealth ninja guard. They also stop people from leaving the store throu entrance gate also, that happens a lot....

Hola :) Vanilinový cukr is an artificial chemical compound. Sometimes it is better to buy genuine Bourbon vanilla and mix it with sugar :) As for flour- yes, it may seem complicated, but the brand "Babiččina volba" - Granny´s choice is really good. "Hladká mouka" is like all purpose flour. There was also "dortová mouka" which is specifically for cakes, then "mouka pro kynutá těsta"- flour for risen dough- it means that the company provides more options based upon what you need to do :) Pre-seasoned/marinated meat from supermarket-- it´s better to make your own - you know what´s inside, the pre-made- they add stabilisers etc.. :)

Interesting video about something we all do quite often. I cannot say how exactly it is in that huge kaufland at butovice, but I do know how it is at Tescos. Some of the stuff you might wanna stay away from are those seasoned meats, those salads - i mean like the spreads, not vegetables. You can hide a tun of stuff in those kinds of products... Friend of mine used to work at tescos and the strories she told me... Ever since then I only buy packaged brand goods, like not made by the shop itself. Salamis and meats I buy at my favorit butchers, never in a supermarket. The price might be a little bit higher but its well wotrh it - I just buy a little less or plan better. What I do buy in a supermarket is veg, fruit or some baked goods. Oh and by the way better safe than sorry when comes to weird guys lurking around supermarkets...

I know this is an old video but the younger guy could actually be a security guard even if he looked sketchy and didn't have a uniform. It's really low pay job, you don't need like literally any qualification to be hired. So these people are often... well, sketchy. In my town, they actually hired a man who was sitting there with homeless people just the week before 🤷🏻‍♂️
But I honestly think he was actually trying to protect you from the homeless man (well and maybe hit on you) and he wasn't dangerous. I never heard about any such scheme happening here in Czech Republic and definitely not on crowded parking lot in the middle of the day.
