i just got done using this method and it works great! the rolls came out very soft in the middle and had the same golden brown color. I kept my rolls in for 16mins at 425F. instead of the egg wash method i used a very small amount of vegetable oil, but it works the same. the only thing i had trouble with was forming the rolls like you did, mine came out looking like biscuts, but all in all they tasted fantastic!! thank you so much for this video! it was a huge help and i will always use it
Hello there, I just found this video. I want to say that I am an avid bread baker, and I am always happy when I hear about others enjoying and appreciating bread. I definitely agree with you that there is nothing like freshly baked bread.. And I can see how these rolls just melt. They have a wonderfully soft crumb, and beautiful contrast of browning . Thank you for sharing the recipe, and your love of bread with others. :)
I made the bread rolls according to your recipe and thanks to you I have lost all fear I had over yeast..and my bread rolls were so lovely we just had them with butter.Thank you very much and may god bless you!
Ive just made mine, and I follow the recipe as you said chef, it turned delicious. I put to bake for 30 minutes at 200C and they became hard brown on top, but still very soft inside, thank you for a great recipe.
Good Morning, today I decided to bake your famous Bread rolls, they got the chape of yours and were soft but not as shiny as yours.I think I still got to practice.coz this is the first time I use yeast in any stuff I 'm doing.Thx4sharing this great recipy of yours and keep it up this way.
Thanks Chef.. i have to thank you for all your videos, they are real and easy and no matter what anyone says we all look at your videos and use it in the kitchen and I have to say they come out so well. So easy and simple! Thanks a ton! I watch alot of shows, but I have to say that in terms of real execution..yours is the best. Moreso because the ingredients are so easy to find and you never use 'frozen pasta sheets' or anything else! Thanks a ton! God Bless!
Just tried the recipe for the first time ever and it worked soooo well !!! I was so happy and proud of mysefl! Great instructions!!!!!!! Thanks a lot!!
I made it, I add half cup of sugar to make it a little sweeter, I think they were awesome, the only thing is that 425f for the oven is too high they were raw inside I just lowered the oven temp and let if for half hour, final product... YUMMY.. My kids Love it!!
Really u made my kids smile with your recepies sir.. thank you so much for telling every little thing that must be taken care while making the recipies
I loved Vah-Chef Sanjay Thumma! He is so enthusiastic and talented. He makes it look so easy and certainly delicious! Can't wait to write down everything and try doing this. What a help! I love pumpkin. Would love to know what dish he makes with the pumpkin that goes inside his beautiful rolls. Such impressive bread rolls. TH-cam provides so much constructive help for people free. A true gift to educate and enlighten. Thank you to all involved in making this possible!
Hello everyone, I have tried this recipe because I was tired of making the other difficult breads and guess what........IT WAS GREAT!!!! OMG you are going to be so excited when you take your bread out of the oven. Just follow the directions just as he advised and you are going to be so proud of yourself. Don't be afraid, just try it. just tried this recipe and it came out great! much better than what we used to buy back in india thanks to this helpful video we can finally have the classic 'pav' with pav bhaji dish and not the commercially available bread slices!
Making this now. Using 2 tablespoons of melted butter flavored shortening to the eggs instead of butter. Shortening has a higher melting point than butter so if you use that be sure to let it cool a bit so you don't end up with greasy scrambled eggs. I also added a little extra sugar to the yeast & flour mixture as well. I put 3 tablespoons in the flour & 1 tablespoon in the yeast. We like a really sweet yeast roll. Oh, and I'm using bread flour which is higher in protein. I am proofing my se
Namaste Chef!!! This is just a great video. I wanted to make Norwegian Raisin Buns but it failed a few times as the yeast didnt rise. This video is good enough to teach me how to make the simple bread and add in the raisins to be Norwegian buns.Great work--Greeting from Malaysian Indian!
Sanjay you rock, all the recipes we have tried have come out just great. You are amazing and thanks for all of this and most of all its free. You are doing an amazing job keep it up

With floured hands, pinched off rolls as per video. Used canola oil on cookie sheet. Covered with warm, wet dish cloth and let rise for 30 minutes. I used 1 additional egg + 1/4 C water for the egg wash right before baking. Baked at 425°F for 15 minutes. They DID seem hard at first, but quickly softened up. Might adjust baking time to 11-12 minutes next time. Next time I may add a little sugar to the flour, or honey to the eggs/butter for a little more flavor. But they were excellent!
What a nice, friendly, cheerful guy! I enjoyed watching your video because you smiled a lot, you were positive, interesting, and you made it sound like something I could do! I watched your caramel custard video too. I like what you say at the end of each video -- that your goal is to inspire others to be creative. : ) Thank you!
There really is nothing like eating freshly baked bread. I love making yeast rolls and this recipe is very similar to mine. However, I use about a 3/4 cup of sugar because I like them sweet and a 1/4 cup of warm water to proof my yeast.
