    Your dexterity in Gmail is remarkable. "Click on the upper right", click on the three dots . . ." I will have to watch this a couple of times to catch the things you do so easily.
    Nicely done!

    I use tags/labels on all my emails as a way to categorize them and I recently discovered the way to turn that categorization automatic by using the filter function (create filter based on the sender email address).

    Loved the last tip the most - Search to Unsubscribe. These types of emails is what causes the most havoc. I've got 7k worth of emails to clean up. Some of these senders dont' even have an unsubscribe option. Any other choice but to report "Spam"? It'll forever end up in Spam if I do that.

    Hi Steve, all great and usefull tips. I use most of them but for me the Keyboard Shortcuts are the best! I would strongly recommend using these helpful shortcuts. With the touch of a key you can forward, delete, reply, label...etcetera mails. It saves me a lot of time and I don't have to use the mouse!

    @GozoAya 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Thanks, Steve. All good stuff. Happily I was familiar with most, but I was not aware of the Unsubscribe action and that is pretty neat!
    I have a question for you. For security and for ease of access, we take each email that we have sent to a patient, and save it as a PDF into a folder which is unique to that patient. This means that all communications for an individual are in a dedicated location and can easily be accessed - online or offline. For the entries in the folder to make sense, we start the PDF file name with a date and use year, month, day format( e.g. 22-03-06) so that messages are in date sequence.
    However, all this is kind of labour intensive!! Send the email, then open it in the Sent section, then print, then print as pdf, then make sure the correct folder is selected. If you - or any of your subscribers! -can suggest a way to automate this process, or an alternative method of achieving the same result, I would be hugely grateful!!

    • @dottotech
      @dottotech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You can set up an automation using a tool like
