    Excellent idea to document your exp for labs/projects. I constantly build up proof of concept projects for my job in my homelab or azure to learn a concept or test and just forget to document it outside of my job.

    One thing to add, if you are applying to US federal government/contracting jobs, add your clearance level as well in the header. (Assuming you have one already).

    I'm a career changer/swapper. I am 25, have experience in consumer banking but no IT or Cybersecurity activities. I am studying for the Security + Certification and I am going to a good public college in NYC. Idk where to start. I have a resume but it's garbage compared to templates I see online.

    Is there a reason why you are selling an entry-level resume? If so, is it to raise money to buy equipment/resources for your next project? However, if not I don't see the reason to tell your viewers to buy it.

    • @njpme
      @njpme ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @Day Cyberwox I'm not paying anything for college so I'm using what's available to me. I have certificates but no experience. Ngl, I feel like a degree would bypass a lot of the BS with HR.

    • @can_you_hear_the_voices
      @can_you_hear_the_voices ปีที่แล้ว

      Don’t bc a lot of colleges doesn’t even touch you the skills you need that is required by companies….that’s why Google stepped in and made their own course bc their tired of people coming in straight from college with 0 skills

    • @can_you_hear_the_voices
      @can_you_hear_the_voices ปีที่แล้ว

      I recommend doing google course, then another course or boot camp for cybersecurity while doing projects/clubs like that one capture the flag thing and just build your resume with skills you learned/experienced….that’s the best route for cybersecurity

      @@njpmeWGU cybersecurity degree, you get like 8+ certs, the degree and as fast as you can take a test is as fast as you pass the classes, I'm about to finish my degree and I will have spent 1.4 years on it. Faster if I'd not have had a little lull for a couple months earlier this year.
