    I feel we overestimate things looking cool, that's how you get five minutes of "b roll" with no story or endgame.

    Thanks Matti! you know what would be cool is showing us how you organize your work flow on a big shoot when you do, for example, a whip pan from one area to the next. If you do a bunch of those on a day out shooting are you taking physical notes during the day to know what whip pan shots are connected or is it all just a free for all of whip panning in the correct direction and once you load everything on to your computer its now the editors job to get creative stitching these transitions together.

  • @pushtherun
    @pushtherun 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Professor Matti, thanks for the ideas. As others had said, this was a great class on many transitions that we have never thought of. What would have made it even "more" helpful would have been seeing you in the editing process, how you decide which to use from an online platform, and how to apply them. I'm a little over a year into my video editing adventure and should be finally hitting my monetization numbers this week. In hindsight, I wish I took the time to go deeper into learning how to better film and edit. Now, I'm playing catchup.
