this takes pure talent and gift. I mean it's like solving a difficult math problem, the smartest kid in the class is able to break it down for you real easy but you'd still be stuck with the next problem. Daniel is pure genius. This can't be simply duplicated through hard work. Period.
I’m always fascinated by these videos, because many people (including myself) do not really think about all the time, energy, vision, and raw talent that goes into such footage. It’s just mind-boggling. Major props to you guys with the patience and vision to manufacture works of excellence...such artistry to show the assembling of a skateboard. It really makes you appreciate things you never even THOUGHT about before. Nice.

I grew up in TO, now live in Hamilton and also have been skating for most of my life, I miss the all day skate sessions, my body just can't take it anymore haha. Hey Daniel, you should include metadata on your “raw footage” Including camera settings would be helpful for those of us learning about shooting video and working technically with a camera

Thanks for all those helpful videos, love the BTS 👍 You became my favourite TH-camr 🎥 Learned so much from you and used some of it in my latest Tenerife Travel Video 😊
Best B roll/transition instruction format on TH-cam. Really gives us a glimpse of how shots are actually obtained. Thanks and hopefully you can show the editing process as well.
4:27 lol, absolutely he wasn't focused or thinking about anything about shooting or what you're saying he just needs to hear 3.2.1 Go, that's funny and Amazing work guys.
Personally, I choose the music first to fit the vibe I want, and make sure it's not too intense/long that I still demonstrate the content I wanted. By counting beats while listening to music, I even know what B-roll I want to put in while listening to it.

Same here, I make a music short list prior to shooting therefore I know what kind of rythm shot I have to get and then no matter which one I pick I'm good
many compliments from your Italian follower. It would be nice to see the editing phase too. I'm curious about what you use to stabilize the footage and how you use position key frames. Thanks for these precious videos!
I’m late to the party but just wanted to give kuddos for that skate line and how the pops and landings were surgically synchronized to the beat of the music. Reminds me of the old school 411VM skate vids on VHS🛹 📼 🤘
This is amazing! How did you get all the sounds for the video? I feel like I was more focused with the sound than the actual video ahaha keep up the good work man!

You are wrong on everything you said. Most good films let people forget they are watching a film. The cinematography and editing are invisible and full of subliminal messaging. Putting different transitions in a movie needs to be done with a very good reason.
@@Yodd Yes you are right. Now when wrote this comment I re read my own comment and realised what my mindframe was at that time. You are absolutely right in everything you said. I too believe the same. I guess that at the time of writing the comment I was just in awe of this type of work and so I wrote an exaggerated comment. These types of transitions and b roll and everything looks pretty only in these type of videos but producing great movies is a different game altogether. I recently made a short movie myself and I barely used more than 3 or 4 transitions. More transitions and fancy stuff was taking away from the continuity of the experience. For me all the clips are muted then he will just look for sound effects on artlist that will match what is happening on the clip. Like how the board pops, how it lands etc...

The sound of music and skateboarding is synchronized, amazing
