(Seriously, you cannot tell me 'Vagrant Counting Song Of Retrospection' wasn't pulled directly from ZUN's grey matter.) But yeah, this one might not have been fully balanced but I think that can happen when you go in knowing the player has infinite lives. Aside from that, I really liked this one. And now you've got me curious about the successor...
The attack names found in the Forgotten Land Perfect Support Guide are no slouch, too. "Fermi Paradox Answer", "Downward Spiral Party", and "Deadly Sun Grazer" all sound like spell card names.
Flan and Marx would go on to found the Four Letter Rainbow Wing Alliance (even though Flan is just a nickname), attracting such literal luminaries as Ho-oh and nobody else because those criteria are way too restrictive.

As critical as I tend to be about Kirby (seriously do NOT talk to me about the series storytelling holy shit), as I still enjoy it a lot, there's something that's so oddly cool to me about crossing Kirby over with specifically Touhou. Always been thinking about Kirby attacks and how they'd translate into danmaku attacks, and honestly, this script pulls it off so well. That'll also be a talking matter for a spell card in a fangame that has yet to be played here, and probably won't be for another 2 years... Also, it helps that Kirby and Touhou do have quite some overlap in fanbases. So imagine my disappointment when I see this cool script, download it to my computer and... Look I'm not gonna pretend my PC, _or_ Danmakufu, are any good, but goddamn, what is this script's optimization? I can't even go through the _dialogue_ without it dropping down to under 50fps! What the hell? And those Marx stars have god awful visibility too. At least from what I remember, visibility did get better in the sequel script... Not testing the performance again though, nope... (Seriously. My friend is making a 3-stage game/script and I'm basically hired as a performance tester so that if my PC can play it, so can anyone else's. It's that bad. I swear those people get so pedantic over the smallest stuff, and Kirby saying "poyo" is a huge pet peeve for them. Kirby CAN talk, but chooses not to, I guess. So they kinda just use his speaking from the anime for this. If I'm not mistaken, he did say other things mostly in the original Japanese version (which I guess also is seen here to an extent?), but his vocabulary did get dumbed down in the dub. Also, he actually did say that word in like 3 spin-offs too anyway so I don't know why Kirby Twitter gets so mad about it. Trust me, when they get mad, they are relentless. "ough i hate kirby being portrayed as a dumb little baby" who cares -Marx's Japanese name is just Mark (マルク, maruku). Hence why Kirby calls him that here. -I think the giant Marx at the end is meant to be a reference to how he appears in Kirby Brawlball, a pinball minigame in Kirby Mass Attack. Funnily enough that game also had a shmup minigame mode, called Strato Patrol EOS. I'd still love to see someone expand on that. Heck, you even got your work cut out for you, there's a literal bomb button in that. Pretty sure Kirby's bomb here is even a reference to that! -Also lol funny Marx Soul scream. Shit, this script really copied everything to a T. Even the things I hate about Kirby. WOO, I can't wait until Least Connected Marketeer. One of my favorite scripts out there.
Wow, this script is very well made, I like it I forgot who Marx was until he showed up (I don't play much Kirby, the only one I did was Amazing Mirror) I do have one complaint however That first spell The warning makes it seem like you need to get away from the center, when you're actually supposed to stay in the center Very counterintuitive, it's giving IBP Sekito vibes, with egregiously bad telegraphing Oh and also that last attack Pinning you down, and forcing wide streaming is a terrible combination Aside from that, I have no complaints Spells are very pretty, their interactions are cool, etc.
